Stopher - Glad you checked in. Don't be a stranger.

Anaheim is supposed to be 73° today. Disneyland, here I come!

Wait until Monday and I will meet you there.

Morning Guys! Day 4 without power at home, but the office is back up a running now. :headache: At least I should be able to check in a bit more.

For the record, cold showers suck even if it IS going to be in the high 90's.

Dude, that sucks. Hope you get power soon.

Today was supposed to be the day to drive around the Island. Instead, the Pirate Princess wanted to do yoga on the beach this morning and get a paddle board in the lagoon this afternoon. What can you do?

Hope everyone stays cool today.

Good idea. There will be 10 of us and I know the kids will be pushing for front row seats. Maybe we can put grandma and grandpa over there.

I always thought the best place to be during the parades was in line at one of the rides. :thumbsup2

There is an interesting thread over on the DVC Mousecellaneous forum about BLT TOTWL be opened to all DVC members staying anywhere on property.

I'm still trying to figure out why we needed another version of that story. :confused3

::yes::
I agree. There's money to be made. Plus, there are a lot of good stories that haven't been told on screen. They could make a dozen more batman movies out of some of the great comics out there and it wouldn't feel repetitive. This Spidey movie, while good, hit too many of the same notes as the Tobey Maguire series did. It felt a little repetitive. But hey, it was an IMAX 3D movie that cost me nothing so I'm not gonna complain!
Assuming you're willing to spend it...

Did you see the Eric Bana version? It was obvious why we needed a new version of that one. :crazy2:

One of my few indulgences is superhero movies. I wind up sleep-walking through work the next day, but everybody thinks that's just how I normally look.

I'm with you there, but I will be with my wife's parents and her sister's family also. My wife has already warned me not to get all "commando" on the family - I can't help it. She told me no laminated daily guides, no crazy tour schedules, take it easy with the penny presses, etc.

I was able to get the reservations done, more or less, and have them coincide with park schedules. That was her big concesseion to me. I know she will also concede about tactical Fastpass acquisitions when the time comes.

 Would they tell Picasso, "No brush."?

Let's see who gets this joke without googling:

Now you'll only be able to meet the man who met Andy Griffith.

Sorry, I had to google it.:guilty:

I guess that means that the matching quarterback-style wristbands for each member of the family are out too?

got an email about this new perk yesterday, or maybe it was today... :confused3 it figures this would start right before we are going down and staying at BLT!! this means we'll probably have to get there early just to make sure we get in. Shouldn't be too bad. not like we have much else to do that first day we get there.

I can't cut off anyone's b***s with a trimmer, now can I?

By Mike, of course I meant James... ;)

Been a rough week.

no problem. it made me laugh.

I got an email about that yesterday. It is for a limited time during July and into August. We'll be there then - staying at AKV - so we might just pop over and try to get in. The email stressed the limited availability aspect of it. And it is only for members staying on points.

I imagine that it will be crowded initially as this is something new, but I am not sure it will solve Disney's reason for doing this - revenue. My suggestion was to have drink service on the terrace, as when you are sitting outside, you don't want to give up one of the only few seats to go inside to eat or drink something.

The TOTWL is not set up to serve food, as there are not enough tables or place for meal preperation. Although, an exclusive Victoria & Albert's type restaurant in that space would make it special as well.

The alternative is they will shut down the lounge. I guess as long as the terrace is still accessible, then I would still use it.

2L of wine gone from the 3L jug. Family returning in about a month. Guess I am right on track to finish it before they arrive.

Early night tonight and out tomorrow. Happy 4th of July eve Dads!

Ahhh yes, the good ole' 3L jug of wine...

Break out the Good Plastic Cup's for that stuff... ;)

Evening Dads.

It looks like we have started to get some of the heat everyone else has been getting. DS played soccer tonight with the temperature in the mid 90s. They won a barn burner 5-4.
