Morning everyone. At least it is morning here. 6:00 AM local time. The kid is still asleep but there is no hurry to do anything this morning. We have the Manta Ray dive tonight, so we are both pretty pumped. Will try to post a picture later.

Hope everyone has a good day.

Morning gentlemen. :coffee:

I took the twins to the park. Half an hour later they were sitting in their power wheel ready to leave. They are already asking me to go to the pool.

Sounds fun.

Is it the heat or their boredom? My dds do that sometimes - act bored because they have had so much to do.

Just did the shot, I don't do that shot for just anyone since it's the last bottle I have and they haven't made it in over 10 years:thumbsup2, it is a smooth burning 100 proof shot that I followed with a rum & coke chaser:thumbsup2

Alcohol with alcohol chaser. The only way to do it.

Morning guys

First day back in the office since the surgery. Have to say I didnt really miss it all that much. Alot of paperwork to do, and I have a meeting this afternoon with the big wigs. Thankfully its a dial in, as I dont need the added stress.

Matt

Welcome Back to work. Yuk! Forgot to check my lotto ticket this AM.

Morning Gentlemen!

One more cool day and then a stretch of 95+ for at least five days. Burn bans in effect and the drought situation is worsening but unlike many I can irrigate. The big problem with drought for me is my bees get mean with nothing to forage on and it means no honey for me this year.

We get our honey from local farmer. It is so good. Hate to hear that.

Got a call from the boss last night, giving me some heads up on the new troublemaker chick. . :sad2::mad:

Hopefully, she will be hot. Pictures.

That is why I love living a half mile from my closest neighbor and where nobody can see what is going on in my backyard. :rolleyes1 :lmao::rotfl2:

My grandfather had 35 acres in two tracts (25 & 10). When he died, I could have had the 10 acre tract but DW said no, it was too far away from anyone. I still am disappointed.

Another day in paradise. Went diving today. I only did the first dive but was able to grab a few pics and videos. Here is one of The Pirate Princess holding a lobster.

Sower and then dinner. Nothing much tomorrow AM until we get ready for the night/Manta ray dive. Having a good time.

Excellent picture. You can take me on vacation any time.

On the baby front, we had an appointment last Wednesday. Doc says the kids are developing normally and everything's looking good. So last week at this time, Thing 1 was 2.81cm and Thing 2 was 2.76 (at just over 9 weeks). DW has finally started getting her energy back and wanting to be active, so I'm pretty happy about that.
...

Thing 1 & Thing 2. Great names.

Ok, I was just listening to Lou Mongello in the latest WDW Radio podcast when I was at lunch. He referred to an old perfume shop that used to be in the MK and mentioned that you could get any scent there. He then mentioned bacon and said bacon makes everything better. It got me thinking that he would make an exceelent addition to the DISdads Club. First of all, he's a dad. Secondly, the man knows Disney, and how many people out there are bigger fans than him? I think it is time the DISdads start a campaign to bring him into the club. He's about as qualified as you can be to be a DISdad and just think of the extra publicity he could bring to the dads with the following he has in the Disney Community. :lmao::rotfl2:

Excellent idea :thumbsup2 Which one of the dads would qualify as a stalker to get him over here :lmao:

In all seriousness, it is a good idea.

Well, just a quick little update. I am apparently a qualified hole digger because my fence post holes passed inspection. Of course the inspector did not leave any notice via a note on the door or a voicemail. I had to call this morning to even find out if they had been out.

Happy Wednesday!!

just checking in, hopefully I will have time to catch up later.

Interview went pretty well yesterday. It was fairly quick. I was told the process has just begun and they'll be bringing in more people and eventually narrowing the field to bring back the best candidates. I actually had a couple of questions when they paused and asked if I had any. :woohoo:

the vibe seemed positive. now the hard part is waiting to hear if I will make the cut for Round 3. that might take a couple of weeks.

In the meantime, just got back from taking the family to the park for lunch and stopping off for ice cream on the way home. I opted out of the ice cream. trying to be good and lose a bit more weight this week.

lastly, added another ADR to our trip (32 days!). We'll be breaking our fast at the Kona Cafe on the morning we leave BLT and hear to Port Canaveral to board the Dream.

time to get ready to head to work. hope everyone's having a great day!

Kind of tastes like Bud. Don't like ether. I like Fat Tire.

Yeah, I drink it here and there. Mostly in the summer. It's closer to a corona, imo. I like it.

I really liked it. I thought it was closer to Corona than Bud though, and cheaper here than Corona.

Yeah, because this here group is running low on membership. :rotfl: It would be nice to have a promotion or benefit, like discounted tickets, for membership. We did get our own sub-forum. Maybe our own forum?

The supervisor had to review his hole observation before it could be improved.

Good news on interview, weight loss, & WDW trip. Good luck on interview. I'm still available for highly paid, no working assistant.

Well, my attempts to write a "English-Children/Children-English" dictionary are still going slowly*. Today, I am happy to report that "in a while" apparently translates to "a period of time slightly shorter than it takes to blink. " And, "if you stand up in the shopping cart again, I will put back the squirt guns" translates as "please, jump up and down in the cart, squealing with joy, and possibly dancing to the background music of the local megastore."

* I decided some time ago that, despite appearances to the contrary, my children do not actually speak English. For example, when I say "Don't touch that!" it apparently means "Stick that unidentifiable object that you picked up off the ground up your nose."
