Yah slight would be the word.
Heres how that happened. We spent all of Thursday (and I mean all of it) at the UD Arena and when all was said and done, our kids had made it into the finals but they wouldnt be performing again until Friday night. Now we had all day to get into something.
Friday also just happened to be our 21st wedding anniversary. That combined with the fact that DW really wanted to see the RnRHoF at some time, combined with the fact that wed probably not be anywhere near this close to Cleveland again any time in the future
Well, it just seemed like a good time for a drive.
We got up early, made it up there in a bit over three hours, spent about four hours on the Lake Erie water front, and made it back to Dayton just as the finals were cranking up (where our kids ended up finishing in sixth place nationally). All in all, a very good day (tiring, but very good)
Very cool! I have yet to make it to the RnRHoF... even though I am from Canton originally. Sorry to hear about not making it to the World this year. Major bummer.
