Received the contract from TSS/***, now just waiting to hear from Disney. That is the problem with resale of direct purchase from Disney - hours vs months for points. But, it was worth it in the long run. So, DW and I have decided to avoid Easter week at WDW. So, our tentative plan will be to go to Vero Beach or HHI when Easter falls close to our Spring Break week (1st week of April) and BWV when Easter is earlier or later. So, I think we are going to try Vero Beach next year and then BWV in 2014.

Today it is family gagging, er um, gathering #1 with Inlaws. Tomorrow will be #2 with Inlaws. I just love mandatory time with people I don't like and get to see twice a year.

Morning from sunny Key Largo. A bit windy so don't think I will be diving this trip. The Tiki Bar is about to open so I may get a cocktail and sit by the pool. Going to be a good day.

Hope everyone has a good one.

Congrats on the contract. And good luck with the outlaws, er, inlaws. ;)

Thanks and thanks.

WDW released their October hours and my plans have to be adjusted. Monday is my ADR window. But, for the first time in at least 4 years, they changed MNSSHP day from Tuesday to Friday.

Afternoon guys and Happy Easter and Happy Passover.

We've got a full day tomorrow, and I had a few moments now, so I wanted to stop in and say hi. I haven't been around much lately I know - but there will come a time that I come back. DIS burnout is a big reason I've been on the downlow. Continuing to build my business is another. Which brings me to a fun story from yesterday and the day before. Nothing huge, but I had to share my excitement with it.

I got an email from a lady Thursday evening asking about DCL in November, out of LA to the Mexican Riviera. I jumped on it and got her the information, and took an 24 hour option on a stateroom for her. Went to bed and Friday morning woke up they wanted it and were ready to book. That was the fastest sale I've had yet. I was doing a dance of joy - not because of the sale - that was nice, yes - but because she was so easy (in the nice sense of that word, not the trampy sense) to work with. A total of 4 email exchanges (2 on each side) and 1 phone call, and it was a done deal. If only they could all be that simple. :-)

So far I've sold a bunch more of the other cruise lines than I have DCL, simply because DCL is so expensive. So anything I can do DCL I'm happy, because even though Disney is cheap on the resort side (commission-wise), they are heftier on the cruise side - not the highest, but they do pay more for cruises than for WDW or DL stays.

So that's my little happy dance story for the day. It was a great capper to my week.

We just enjoyed a great time watching our DD & middle son hunt for their eggs (DS16 hasn't hunted in 3 years now), and are getting ready to take them over to church for their Community Hunt. Then home for a nice family evening before a full day begins tomorrow.

Take care guys. I thought for sure the thread would have been closed by now... I see the slower pace continues. That's nice! Perhaps I'll find time to pop back in again before this one closes out... :thumbsup2

STOPHER!!! glad to hear things are picking up on the ta side. :thumbsup2 have a nice easter buddy! :thumbsup2

off to cracker barrel tonight. our normal sat. hang out. :lmao:
i got a text from randall this morning, he is back on dry land!!! :thumbsup2

Really tough day today. Rained for a few minutes and I almost got wet. The water in the pool was on the chilly side. Had to wait for a few minutes to get a drink. Wish I was back home.

Heading to the dock to see the dive boat come in and check conditions. Maybe fried shrimp for dinner.

I won't lie, I'm hoping to see them go 0-3 tonight. :rolleyes1

I think they'll be fine once they gel. Plenty of pop in that lineup. With Reyes, Bonaficio and Hanley in the heart of the lineup, you've got guys who are good at getting on, can hit with some power and are a terror on the basepaths. A lot of teams would kill for that combination. They've just got to get it all together and Hanley's got to start making some contact.:lmao: I really like Stanton, Morrison and Sanchez too.

Buerhle is primed to have a huge year this year. I really see him doing well with that infield behind him. He's a ground ball pitcher and he's got probably a better D behind him than he ever had in Chicago.

They look good on paper. Should be a good lineup with pretty good pitching. What I saw the other day was anything but. Not only waiting to the 7th to get a hit but stupid fielding errors. They looked lethargic. Love baseball so will have fun anyway.

Hope it comes through fast. Good luck with the In-Laws. Don't you have the Brother in law from hell?

Stopher, good to hear from you.

Come home from the store and DW has about 10 lbs of bacon cooked on the counter. :scared1: Before I can even ask, she tells me its all for some sort of casserole she's making for Easter Brunch tomorrow... :cool1:

So, long story short, any DisDads in the Boston area tomorrow are welcome by for some bacony goodness. :thumbsup2

Sadly, I'd rather be around some of my in-laws then some of my side of the family :sad2:

Oh hell, that sounds like work and the people in it.

No problems seeing mom and dad, I'm used to them and their eccentricities. Unfortunately, my brother likely won't be there, he's okay. It's my sister I can;t deal with. She's a very me-first type. She thinks she knows what is best for my parents (drives my dad up the wall), her husband thinks me and my brother are lazy and do nothing (makes dad madder then hell), and he had an affair that has caused reprecussions for them, no idea why they are even together. Anytghing that doesn't revolve around her is around my nephew. Oh well....

DW had a great idea for a gift for my birthday this year - personalized license plates. She wanted to run it by me first before she ordered them, since you can't return them. I told it her is was a great idea!

She is ordering Texas Rangers plates. We had space for 5 characters, so we tried a bunch of different combinations to try to find something cool that was available. We almost went with FU*NY, but thought it might not get approved. :lmao: We ended up blending two of my favorites together in one - Texas Rangers plates with EPCOT for the letters. :thumbsup2

:thumbsup2:thumbsup2

Oh how i now what you mean!!!! My weedeater stopped working today and the riding mower has decided that it is not going to work either....we have 40 people coming over tomorrow for an egg hunt so needless to say the yard looks like a piece of beverly!!
Just turn on TV to the Masters and tell them you're emulating the rough at Augusta National.

My birthday haul from DW and the girls was a load of books all on the Titanic. I've got some good quality reading ahead of me.
I hate to ruin the ending...but the boat sinks.

And Leonardo DiCaprio dies.

lastly, on the diet front... today was weigh-in day and I am down another 4lbs!! now at 225!! that's a total of 15lbs since I started. The other day someone actually commented at work. They seemed concerned, perhaps thinking I was sick or something. I explained it was completely on purpose. Still made me feel good to hear that.
Nice Job. :thumbsup2
I lost about 30 pounds between visits from my Mother In Law. She pulls me aside and quietly asks "Are you sick?"

Really tough day today. Rained for a few minutes and I almost got wet. The water in the pool was on the chilly side. Had to wait for a few minutes to get a drink. Wish I was back home.
Yes, because heaven forbid you get wet before you jump in the ocean. :sad2:

And a VERY special Happy 1st Easter to Ryder!
Thank you! If all goes as planned, the doc will write the discharge orders at 5 am and we'll have him home in time for Easter Breakfast!

Hey guys. Chilling at the Clarion Inn while DS swims for a few in the "heated" pool (yeah dad, it's heated:lmao:) all the while watching the traffic go by on I4. First off site visit ever for us, and it's been a really cool learning experience. Weather for the last couple of days has been great; mid 70's with a slight breeze and more of the same tomorrow. Hope everyone is doing well and has an enjoyable Easter Sunday.

It was a show, didn't think I'd be running it though :rotfl2: Tomorrow should be better I hope.

A very nice night tonight, we headed over to Jodi's cousin's place in the Downsview area of Toronto. First time I had been there since her uncle died a couple of years ago. We had an unofficial birthday party for both myself and Jo's cousin who is a whole day older then me :lmao: so two birds with one stone. Dinner was good ol' fashioned fish & chips.

My birthday haul from DW and the girls was a load of books all on the Titanic. I've got some good quality reading ahead of me.

DW found this pic and grabbed it for me. I just hope I can find the other half somwhere...

At least you got it in book version:thumbsup2, My wife forced me to see it in the movies when it came out after sitting through all what seemed like 12 hours of the movie, I was wondering if they were having a double feature that night with Fried Green Tomato's as a encore:lmao:
