Watching the news here at work and seeing some videos from the tornados in Texas. Looks pretty nasty. I hope John and everyone else around there stays safe.

Let's go with some Tuesday live trip report action.

Back to the beach in AM. Low tide again.

Today proved to be a windy one and overcast.

So, DW had bought a blue cinderella castle bucket. It was some real sand castle building today. I think the second one was turned upside down, but it includes three castles, some parking garages, a wedding chappell, a pool, hot tub, and kid's pool.

The dds had gathered some sea shells for decorating. Little did they know the seagulls we watching. This one dived down and stole one of their seashells, but was disappointed a dropped it a few feet later.

During their exploration, oldest found a sandollar (intact) and younger found a crab. Here is the crab.

The oldest had placed th sandollar as the clock tower in one of the towers. But, I think th crab must have charged the castle so she attacked the crab and th crab lost a leg. Not to be wasteful, the placed the crab leg on the sandollar to indicate the time. Brilliant? Serial killer predictor?

We returned to the main resort/pool area for lunch, water slide, shuffleboard, & corn hole. All showered and heading to the low country oil. May or may not post more pics tonight and tomorrow is time to pack up and drive home. So, if no more pics for a while, have a continued magical day.

how thoughtful of you.

So, back from the low country boil. Girls are changing into pjs. I snuck away to post some pics of the festivities.

We went back to the beach house for dinner. We found our reservations.

While we ate, we had some fiddle and ukulele tunes. Outdoor dining with beautiful view.

What's in the low country boil? Shrimp, potato, sausage. The buffet also included corn on cob, fish, chicken, hush puppies, Caesar salad, gumbo, rice, apple pie, brownie, lemonade, tea, cornbread, and probably a few others. Like other Disney buffets, they tame down the spices with the buffet for all to eat.

Then, some entertainment for dds. They also did a cake bingo walk with all the children.

Then, an evening stroll with high tide. This pick was from around the same place as this morning. It is amazing to see how much the tide comes in.

So, another great Disney vacation. Tomorrow, after we load the car, we will find a nice place to eat late breakfast or early lunch and then it is on the road. Thanks for the well wishes everyone.

Just booked a night at the GF May 13 to extend my work conference a day, which gives DW the opportunity to come down for 2 days and do the parks with me! Will be our first trip to WDW alone since before DD was born. Hope we don't feel too guilty about not taking the kids (We're bringing them in Sept. so I don't feel that bad! ), but it will be nice to do some adult rides, together!

Big thanks to Aaron for working his TA magic and getting me a sweet rate and booking it for me.

Hope the rest of the week improves for you and you can get some sleep. When things get like that just remind yourself that you are doing it for the ones you love.

Ok, need some coffee myself, but I'm showered and up and moving. Going in a little early today, try to make up some time from the last few days where the wife has been sick. Its gonna be a long day, with a very boring phone conference meeting this afternoon. Wish me luck!

Good morn' to you all. Hope everyone made it through the storms yesterday/last night. Watched some clips of it last night, scary stuff. If DD sees it, she will freak, she has this super fear of tornados.

Ron- Saw your TGIT, that was my day off this week, but I also get Friday too.

Norm- Awesome pics again. Sorry it's home time, drive safe!

Today work will be busy busy. Fair sized load comming in, beer load too, and I have to squeeze in a bunch of Health and Safety stuff too. Good thing the store is in great shape with no real issues, so it'll all be routine.

It was the monthly free Lego build last night so DS and I went to Arbys to wait out the line. There was no one else in there and the staff was pretty loud. DS looks at me and says "Either they have too many people working or someone needs to tell them to get to work!"
As a manager of a support desk this has to be a proud moment. Kind of like how the Emperor felt when Anikin turned to the Dark Side.

Now I know why we always lose weight on disney vacations!!!!

DW was concerned about gaining a bunch of pregnancy weight during our last trip. We ate a lot of less than healthy food and she had a Dr. appointment the day after we got home. She was concerned about how much weight she was going to gain since her last appointment and afraid the Dr. wasn't going to be happy with her. She weighed in 2 pounds less than her last appointment. I kept trying to tell her she'd walk all that food off, but she didn't believe me.
