Should I get a lawyer now for when my numbers come up tonight? Or a police escort?

How did that work out for you??? We were joking at work about how hard it would be to keep a straight face if you actually won. Can't really go running around the streets of NYC yelling it out!! :rotfl2:

Well I successfully made it through the work day. In fact, my boss let me go home about an hour early. :cool1:

Now for the last minute packing and list checking.

Still trying to figure out how I'm going to get those Magical Express yellow/green luggage tags on our luggage without the girls getting wise to it.

Of course they can't read - but you don't have to read with a big Mickey Head on em'! ;)

tough assignment, but hopefully you pulled it off!! I think my tactic may have been to attach them right as they were being checked??

Some more pics from the trip thus far.

Shadow th dog greets visitors here. They will corral him on Sunday for kids to pet him.

Then, even better, Mickey greets you inside.

The scenery here at the resort is terrific. I like the nature and trees.

temporary-6.jpg

The man made views aren't bad either.

temporary-8.jpg

The beach was fun. Jelly fish are mating. But, these are only them small ones. They say they bigger ones with stingers come out later when it is warm.

That's it for now. I fell asleep pool side and got a little crispy. I'll be going to bed soon and try to catch up on some sleep.

I love that the doghouse has a nametag!! Cool pics. Looks very relaxing there. And are you sure that was a jellyfish?? looks like a giant mushroom to me!!

congrats on your loss!! :thumbsup2

Congrats, keep it up. :cheer2:

thanks guys!!

Only get 1 wish a year, this is the one I want to happen:thumbsup2 guess we will see soon, my hand palm is itching:banana:

popcorn::

Happy Friday!!!!!!!!!!
IM SO glad that this week is over, tough week at work.
Its great to be a week closer to WDW

always the right way to look at it!! :thumbsup2

I think it is fun that the girls still don"t know that we are going in June. DW wants to tell them soon, I just don't want the continual nagging "when are we going again? How many more days? Are we going to do this or that? I want to keep it from them till the day we leave.

In order to pull off a surprise trip, i'd have to keep it from DW as well. The woman can't keep secrets. :sad2:

Looks like we have to go to work tomorrow:mad: I was really counting on the Birthday wish to come true for a change:headache:

I didn't win either... :sad2:

sorry guys. If it wasn't me, I was rooting for someone who might share it with me... and then, if not them, then somebody who really needs it, and then if not them... any one of the disdads!! :rolleyes1:rotfl2:

I tend to agree... about not being in the room, except to sleep.

Our kids will use the resort pool a couple times during our trip, but they are not super picky about the shape or ammenities of the pool, they more look to see if the water is wet... :thumbsup2

We generally stay at values, but we are trying a Moderate this go 'round, simply because when we booked with Free Dining, they moderate offered full DDP, and the values offered QSDP (which required an upgrade).

The difference in price after upgrading was very minimal (especially because I would have to upgrade both kids as adults to get the full DDP choices for them, oh and 'cause DD is going to be 10 and therefore is a Disney adult).

We've done DDP last 2 trips (this will be 3), and we LOVE it. However with the price of it sky rocketing it does not make $$$ sense to pay for it anymore. So if it's free we take it. :)

We are saving $1443.12 with the Free Dining this year. :thumbsup2

Not bad, I had checked out the same thing, but I was under the impression that future Free Dining offers were going to be QSDP for moderates too. I admit I want to try Riverside, with Ol' Man Island (and sneak in some pole fishing) We like the free dining too. We used it a couple of years ago, our first ever use of the dining plan, and paid for it last year (we got the kids stay/play free offer, which equalled things out)

Race is over. Thanks for the well wishes. It was about 10 degrees warmer than we would have liked and a little damp. The adrenaline factor was less than last year due to the rain and what seemed like smaller crowds. Plus of the 34 bands, it seemed like 10 of them didn't perform due to the weather. But on the upside, I beat last year's time by 14 minutes (I was shooting for 15). It was a leisurely 71 minutes last year and unofficially I finished in 57:25 this morning. Time for a nap.:faint:

Good job! Congrats

I think I read in one of Mark's trip reports that calories don't count when you're on vacation. So you've got nothing to worry about!!

Scientists have proven this! I am sure one has anyways. You burn alot off too with the walking etc.

SECONDED!

If only it could have been a Disdad who really needed it and would share it. :lmao:

Great job! :cool1:

I'd settle for enough to pay everything off, and a trip this year too. Hope you had a good birthday nonetheless. :thumbsup2

Thanks. I agree with you on just enough to pay things off and be out of debt... that would be nice.

:woohoo:
Finished a long week of night shifts, now get to have a weekend off. No Sarnia trip planned this time, going to do some good 'ol spring cleaning instead, focus on the kid's clothes and their room. Want to get rid of unused/broken toys too, handy to have a community donation box right outside the building. Won't be the most restful of weekends, but I look forward to the sense of accomplishment when it's all done!

Have fun!! Hope you get it all done!

Good morning all! I'm never up this early but today's a special day. Richmond's 10k is a really cool event and it seems llike everyone runs it. I got up early to have some breakfast and... it's raining. Wasn't expecting that. And according to weather.com, there's a great chance it will be raining when my wave starts. Oh well, it should be fun anyway.

Hope you had a good race!!

I only won $7 :sad2:

i think that's more than me. Then again, I don't know the rules. I just know I didn't win it all. Wasn't even close.

Good morning all. I beautiful start here. We are heading to the beach house today for some fun.

Enjoy!! Watch out for those Jellies!

Good morning all, no millions for us either.
I was thinking that AOA would be so much more to, we love POP amd am driving this time so no bus issues.

No mega millions for this guy. Too bad too, I had already begun to spend it (in my head at least!)... :lmao:

sorry guys.

I just worked out the quote - and to go to POP and upgrade QS to DDP, we would have saved exactly $100.

It is worth the extra $100 for me to have Queen Size beds (hopefully) for 7 nights, and to try the Moderate.

I agree with your thinking!! :thumbsup2

SECONDED!

THIRDED!! :rotfl2:

If only it could have been a Disdad who really needed it and would share it. :lmao:

I'd like to think that I would have qualified. I may not have needed it as much as many other people in the world, but I'd like to think that had I won, I would have used some of it to help people in need and would've found a way to share it within the circles I run in, including the DisDads.

I hope everyone's enjoying their saturday, even without the millions. DD would not let me sleep in this morning. DW took DD off to her dance class and they should now be at a birthday party. The leaves me and DS at home.

I guess I could have napped. Instead, I got caught up here and took my paycheck from yesterday and used most of it to get caught up on some bills. I may be "current" again on everything by the end of this next month.

Even though my Disney Rewards Visa account was closed, I still had $50 in rewards dollars, so I requested it on a rewards card.

After work last night I stopped at the disney store and bout the 25th anniversary vinyl. Guess I caved the the peer pressure of seeing the pics of the other ones posted here. :rotfl2:

Reading Game Of Thrones currently; Good book, but very long. And now that the second season is starting for HBO, I can't turn around without seeing adds for it, so it only makes me want to read faster and get through book 1 so I can watch the first season and catch up...

There's my random thought for the day. ;)

)

Careful. That was what we did before we bought into DVC. Going moderate was that point of no return.

Well, since it's a man law, then I have to comply.

!!

I'm sure they have had several Shadows over the years. It is a really nice place. I can see myself coming back here.

How's your weather down there?

Wweather at the beach around 2:30 when the warning went up and a t-storm rolled in. It was a little cloudy, but perfect weather these past days thus far. So, we came back to the main resort and did some shopping. I think there's a basketball game on tonight.

Women's NIT? thought that was over... :confused3

IU is not on, so you must be talking about the Pacers vs. The Spurs :lmao:

How are the food choices there?

did anyone see the new pictures of the avengers monorail?
