Yikes. Hopefully, the bank won't give you any grief about overdraft fees since it was clearly their fault.

No they are going to take care of all that...they said it would take a few days for the money to get back into the account...Shari told them it only took a click of a button for them to steal it from her....needless to say...the money will be back by Monday...oh well....

Went to the mall tonight and it was a fruitful trip, we went of course to the Disney Store, and it seems Disney Stores are celebrating there 25th anniversary:woohoo: Well anyway I got a flyer that the 1st 250 guests to visit the store on March 28th get a Special Edition 25th Anniversary Mickey Ears:banana:, just so happens I'm off that day, so you know where I'll be:rolleyes1 I think I'll even wear my Dis Dad Club/ Disney Commando shirt:cool2:

You will need to post pictures of the event and your ears!!! Mickey Ears that is!:rotfl2:

You can all thank me for the NC win tonight!!! As soon as I turned in to watch Ohio hopefully win they started losing! You're welcome if I saved your bracket tongiht!!!:rotfl2:

Shari got on line today to make sure our check went into the bank and it said...insufficient funds...upon further investigation a check that she had written to a nursing organization for 48.04 actually went through as 4800.04 :sad2: Now, the check to play for the new heat pump bounced!! Oh I would not haved wanted to be the person on the other end of the phone that she got ahold of... I get a fly would not have landed on them when she was done!! Don't mess with a country girl and her money!:rotfl2:

Why does this never happen you deposit a cheque... :rotfl2:

Actually, we had a guy working in our warehouse a few years back that deposited a cheque for $1000 (or so), and it showed up in his account for $1,000,000. He told everyone he won the lottery. It even got back to upper management who called him up to the office. He came clean to them. :rotfl2:

That's awesome. I'll be no where near a WDW store that day. Good luck to you.

I know you'll kep watching it. I had a friend that had something similar happen. More debits posted the next day while he was 'waiting' on the bank to refund their error. Initially, they tried to deny replacing those fees as well.

Looking at the flyer they are also going to be selling The Exclusive 25th Anniverary Special Edition Vinylmation, I don't collect them but anything exclusive is always good:thumbsup2

Anyone else notice that most all sport games now have info tickers on the top and bottom? Not sure if it helps or distracts from the game.

Good evening.

Since I popped in for a moment or to in the afternoon, there should be less for me to catch up on, right??

Got two things via Fed Ex today. One was a $200 Disney gift card for referring someone that bought DVC. Will use it on the May trip.

The second was this:

Opening Day is just around the corner. Got that and my 20 game season tickets. Looking forward to baseball. First time in a long time.

So all in all a good day I think.

Wish I could get a mail day like that!! Very nice!! Enjoy the game!! That looks like a good price for those seats!!

I posted this on the disdads.com boards, but thought I would try for some opinions here, also.

Well, I am at a bit of a dilemma and wanted to get some opinions:

First of all I have to say that I love my job. I work with great people and the hours are great (Mon - Fri, 8-5.) I am an IT server/systems administrator. I like to think I am a very important part of the company - I am the resident virtualization guru (VMWare), head up the network monitoring, and am the 'go to' guy for major IT issues that need to be solved. Really, the only bad points are that it is not a huge company, so my pay is not quite up to industry standard levels and not much room for advancement.

At my nephew's birthday party, I was told that an acquaintance (my sisters' mother-in-law's stepson - how's that for obscure?) works for a large company looking to hire some IT people - Strategic Client Architects. It is going into a little different type of job, but uses my experience well. It is almost a sales-like position - or at least a lot of customer interaction. It is a huge pay increase (over 50% more than what I make now) and with the bonuses - almost twice as much. (More Disney trips!)

I don't know if I should inquire and see about interviewing for the new job (if my skills fit), or just be satisfied with a pretty great job with the lower pay. I know that the current company I am with will have a tough time replacing me (not meant to sound egotistical - just that I have so much knowledge of the current setup/situation, it would be a long transition for someone to learn it all.) I guess I could try to get an offer, then go to the current boss and state the facts (that I love working where I am, but the pay differential is huge) and see if they might increase my pay - but I doubt they would get close to a match in pay. But those situations aren't ideal. I feel a loyalty to my current employer (we are a tight-knit 'family'), but how do you turn down a potential salary of twice what you make?

I have some other thoughts/opinions, but wanted to start with that and see what y'all think.

the biggest risk is doing nothing at all. you should at least get some more information and interview.

Lou Mongello is streaming live off the Fantasy

http://www.wdwradio.com/wdw-radio-live/

missed it! And earlier today I tried to contact our TA to make a payment toward our cruise and the auto-reply was that she was on the Fantasy, be back on monday!!

Thanks. I am going to send them my resume (heck, I may not even get an interview.) I was just trying to plan ahead for worst (best?) case scenario. :lmao:

Thanks again, guys!

Good Luck!

Just saw an ad for idiots!! Get up to a $5000 loan
At 116.73% 84 payments of $488.58!

That's $41040.72 for a $5000 loan!!

:rotfl2:

Is that the native american loan company??

UK game on now. The entire states of KY and Indiana have now stopped doing anything else.

Well, I suppose by "anything else" it means the people in Indiana have stopped trying to change the word "Manning" into the word "Luck" on all their jerseys... but I honestly don't know what the people in KY do besides watch college basketball. :confused3
