Local news reports Manning has scratched the Dolphins of the list of potential teams. Now they are scheduled to talk to Flynn after his Seattle visit. And the drama continues.

I figured Flynn was always the front runner there.

Jim Hill just talked about this on the occasional podcast he does with Len Testa from TouringPlans.com/WDWToday. According to Jim, the plans for the Monsters, Inc. coaster at DHS are pretty much complete. They're just waiting for sufficient economic turnaround to get budget go-ahead to build it. Apparently, Disney was expecting the new version of Star Tours to cause a measurable attendance jump at DHS, and the only attendance bump was for about three weeks or so right after it opened. Seems to me like that was a pretty unreasonable expectation, particularly for an attraction refurb (as opposed to a totally new attracting). I mean, I LOVE the new Star Tours, but it's not like there were legions of Star Wars fans out there just waiting for a better Star Tours ride before coming to DHS. :confused3

There was talk about dismantling the RNRC. Are they changing it to Monsters or adding a new coaster?

Keep rubbing it in

Sorry to hear it. Hope she feels better.

PM Don for front page nemesis entry.

I remember softball. That was fun. Now, soccer season is about to start which consumes all my time. I am going to ref games this year and bring home an extra $60 weekend.
Norm , but look at the bright side look at what i miss ? being to SEXY for the woman waving at me !!!!:worship::worship:

I like to plan but not that far out. plus there is a giant countdown banner in my signature.:lmao: This nemesis thing is going to be pretty fun. on a serious note how was southwest, when I begin work on my masters I will be using them a lot to fly to nashville.
that banner is not that big maybe you need to make it bigger ?
and as for southwest Im pooh size and my brother is bigger and this was my biggest scare using them and we had not problems but that was because we paid the extra 10.00 for early check in . but as for checking in and the flights they were great , except they only have 1 snack and 1 peanut and lets say the size is the smallest out of all the airlines . overall they were awesome !!!

Friday morning ownage.

Happy Birthday Don and thanks for putting together the new thread.

good to know. I keep hearing good things. Hopefully it is the same way in a couple years.

Morning guys...just heading off to work

sorry to hear. hope you get more efficient treatment than the last time, and that Audrey is feeling better soon.
Sorry to hear it. Hope she feels better.
Thanks...funny thing was, DW was home in just over an hour. They had a lot of angry people there last night, and DW was all apologetic and nice, and they fast-tracked her through. Just an infection, likely viral, but we have antibiotics just in case. Everyone is mucho tired today though

Don't know why i have one banana split

Only one? Should have brought enough to share! :lmao:

Can I join this exclusive and presitigious club?

Welcome!!

Happy Birthday Don!!

‘Morning all…

And a wish for one very fine birthday to Don!

Happy Birthday, Don! :cool1::cool1:

Howdy sir!
We’ve not heard from you in a while… hope y’all are doing well these days.
Have you heard what facilities are on the Angle’s schedule this year?

good to know. I keep hearing good things. Hopefully it is the same way in a couple years.
all you have to do is ask the flight attendent for the special seat she will escort on top of the wing and tell you to hold on tight and it is not southwest resposibility if you let go and not make your destination :cool1:
just mention my name

It was a good day, so you know, SOMETHING had to happen :headache: Audrey had been commenting about her ear bothering her, so we've been watching her. She just woke up SCEAMING and in pain from it, sounds like an infection? No fever from what I could tell though. All the walk-ins are closed now, so DW just took her to the hospital. She will likely be there ALL night too, last time we had to take her, it was an 8 hour ordeal :headache: Should have known, she's been healthy for far too long a strech for her.:sad2:

Those are never fun!

Hope she's ok... poor kid.

Happy Birthday, Don!

Now if they could come up with a indoor roller coaster based on one of the ones that P&F built in the cartoon, with the music and everything, now that would be money well spent:confused3
:thumbsup2 I like it!

Around here, a lot of people are saying they hope he goes to Nashville, because it isn't a long drive. :rolleyes1

It just feels like the upper management is out of touch these days. :sad2:

Makes me miss the 80's and 90's when it seemed like there were new additions to the parks all the time.

all caught up. Late night at work tonight. Bosses in town again, and they insisted on treating us to dinner after the show. I wish they had informed us of this plan earlier so I wouldn't have already eaten dinner before the show. Try as I might, I couldn't avoid eating more. The only sensible thing I did was to only drink water. This may seriously hamper my ability to hit my weight-loss goal for this week?? I guess I'll find out tomorrow afternoon.
Dinner with the bosses is a good thing! Free food, and it means they like you enough to spend some free time with you (which is probably a good thing for job security). :thumbsup2 :rotfl2:

excited for first softball practice of the season this weekend!! It'll be great to get out and throw the ball around.
Softball practice??? People practice for softball??? :scared1:

Our team is getting organized for spring league too. Can't wait, but I don't much care for throwing the ball around. That's why I play first base, so I just have to catch it.:thumbsup2 :rotfl2:

They better be adding a new coaster.

just mention my name

I will not be needing the pooh bear seat. :lmao::rotfl2:

Uh-uh. You say that now. Just wait until we get past the halfway mark and someone is ahead of you... I bet soon after that we'll start seeing plenty of pics!! :lmao:

Just take a look back at the stats sheet. You'll see several threads where I took a break. Note the post counts on those. Yes, I'm competitive, but sometimes I just need a DIS break. I'm feeling one coming on. Have been for a little while honestly. Don't be surprised if it takes hold.

Thanks for all the birthday wishes! :thumbsup2 Woke up this morning to a few hand made cards from my DD... sure put a smile on my face! She is getting so big now!

Going to tough it out at work today since I took yesterday off to play a round of golf. I heard we broke a weather record yesterday at 87 degrees  I knew it was a little warm, but wow... that's crazy for this time of year. Also had the "pleasure" of mowing the grass for the first time this year. Long mowing season ahead.

When I got home today the old thread was still up and running!!! Take a nap and we have been evicted and already set up a new residance...Good Job Don for not letting us remain homelss!!!:thumbsup2

Yesterday we got our income tax return:cool1: Today we found our we have to replace the heatpump! :confused3 Easy come easy go!!! One unralted note I called the bank to inquire about refinancing our mortgage...the old interest rate ws 5%...going to lock in for 15 years at 3.12%...gonna go ahead and borrow enough to pay off both cars and heat pump and it will still ower our current house payment over 100 bucks a month!:worship:

:cool1: Congratulations on the savings! That is a great deal.
