No. Not a nemesis. Just some UK fans that will be very annoyed if that "other school" wins.

Never understood why KY fans can't support the other schools. I get the rivalry when they play each other, but wanting the other to play badly doesn't make sense to me.

My kids love it, and they have big beef ribs (always a hit)... :thumbsup2

The Moonlite BBQ has those big beef ribs here as well. A friend helped move me to Owensboro a decade + ago and we went there to eat. I had family here so was used to the buffet scene. I took him to eat to thank him for helping me move. He saw the beef ribs and was amazed. They are way different thatn those little pork ribs they serve in most restaurants.

Congrat's... and it looks like the Leaf's will be there to.

In section 112, rows 14 and 15.

:lmao: :rotfl: :lmao: :rotfl: :lmao:

Time to call it a day. Got some official work done, some house cleaning and some horseradish transplanted.

You know many times I talk about transplanting my horseradish?

Good for her. Wish I got Crash involved in lacrosse earlier. She has an aptitude for it even if her team stinks.10.

I would like to take all the credit, but won't. I have been her only coach and did enroll her once in an indoor teaching program (she didn't like and quit after the 6 week session ended). I am big on fundamentals with all the kids I coach. In an hour practice, they get a minimum of 15 minutes of ball skills each. My different asst coaches get frustrated at times, but I think you have to teach them that first.

Now, I know nothing about lacrosse, but I would hope her coach could help improve the team. When my oldest played soccer, and I coached her, one season we just had the least experienced players and no speed. I quickly could see that the players could not handle my scheme so I had to adjust to it to their skil level. There were a lot of tie games and 1-0 games, but we managed to hang in their competitively and win a few.

Crud! Gave that one away.

Yes, it was all your fault FL lost because you posted on the DisBoards. People and their silly superstitions. Now, where are my lucky socks?

stopher hasnt been around that much. couple years norm, youll catch us. :thumbsup2

Couple of years might give me a chance.

Just got back home from watching "Hunger Games" (have two teenage daughters!!) the first part was great!! The second kissy, cheesy part.. Eh... there was a lot that was not explained. There was not enough survival skills, just running and magical healing salve!

What's up with the fact that the only way for her to survive is to be th last one.. She's an awesome bow hunter, but whe she get the bow she won't pick them off one by one? The scene where she destroys the food by shooting a bag of fruit.. She could have easily just shot the lone kid and taken all the food she wanted before destroying it all!! :confused3

Lots of people chatting about it, but I still haven't taken the plunge. But, I am one of the few who has neither read nor viewed a Harry Potter book or movie. Maybe one day.

It's been a good day even though it rained, stormed, and even had a few tornado watches. I got to spend the day with my mom and dad and my sister's family. They will be off on a cruise on Easter, so this was our Easter visit.

This was also the first time that I have had a chance to talk with my dad since he returned from his volunteer trip to West Liberty, KY to help recover after the tornado. It's always so interesting to hear the tales from these trips. They never know what they will face when they arrive. Typically they cut trees and patch roofs, but this time they built a new school to replace one that was destroyed.

I'm proud of my Dad and the work that he does and only hope to live up to his life standards. :thumbsup2

Bravo to your dad and bravo to you sir. I think that those who consider volunteer time among a list of accomplishments are certainly on the right track. Like many of us here, I idolized my father growing up. As I moved out and became my own man, there were things I reflected upon and see now which initially burst that bubble. But, I try to take those reflections and be a better father to my own children.

Sounds like you have yourself one heck of a dad!

::yes:: Can't say enough good things about the man.

Rollin' out in the AM!

:cool1:

:thumbsup2 Have a great time!

Morning guys. Got some of the grass cut yesterday :headache:

It was still wet and too tall. I am going to tune up the mower today and try to finish it by the afternoon.

You're ahead of me. The weeds that we call our lawn are about a foot high in places right now. Too wet to mow this weekend. Too much going on during the week. I may have to bush hog by next weekend. :headache:

Any dads out there have hammocks? Any suggestions on where to get a good one?

There are some nice ones on Castaway Cay! :rotfl2:

Lots of dads up and busy. Off to church in a bit and finishing up a presentation for tomorrow evening. I was hoping to be out of the office in the morning but the continuing drama won't allow it.

just came back from the cracker barrel. now we are waiting for briana to get home from work. she is treaty tammy and i to sundaes at a local dairy bar. this weekend kicks off there "season" and the sandaes are $1.
its going to cost me $4 in gas to drive to get $3 sundaes. :lmao:

Simple, have a few more sundaes to make it worth the while

Anyone see this...

According to KennyThePirate: Russell and Dug will be replacing Flik at DAK starting Today!

Squirrel%252BDug.jpg

That would be great, kids would love to see Russell and Dug, granted we never saw Flik any of our visits (We've never done Tough to Be A Bug either). I heard awhile ago that they were changing up the characters at AK a bit.
Just don't look at the house. Easy solution.

:rotfl2:
The simplest solutions are often the best ones

Aloha from Maui. Travel day was long and exhausting. We're relatively settled in now and looking forward to 2 weeks of relaxation.

Yesterday was a beverly day at work. :sad2: I got there 20 mins early and it was chaos. I had to take charge and fix things up, extend staffing ect, all thingsthat should have been done in oh, the 5 HOURS BEFORE I ARRIVED!! :furious:

Monday night is the big year-end inventory counts (basicly the provincial auditing one) and I was not able to get much of the prep work done. I wish I WISH people in that store with authority had some freakin' backbones and just do things without second guessing any decisions. No one wants to add shifts to blow budgets, yet have NO PROBLEMS watching me increase their overtime adding to the Sunday shifts when they had issues with staff, and I don't do Sundays. Oh well, the only one going to take any falls now is me, me only.

Okay, rant off.

Today is nice and low key, other then going to call the boss, who is back from vacation (WELCOME BACK heh), it;s going to be relaxing, movies, and my parents tonight for BBQ burgers and celebrate my mom's B-day, which was Tuesday, but it's easier to visit on weekends, more time. :thumbsup2

Mornin Dads.....or Afternoon I suppose now.

I have an on-topic question...sorry guys...

Does anyone know if it's possible to print off boarding passes for a non-participating airline at the hotel?

In other words, my airline, Spirit, doesn't qualify for the resort bag check like most of the others do for Magical Express. I just need to find out if I can still print my boarding passes somewhere at Bay Lake or Contemporary. Hopefully complimentary.

Anyone?? :thumbsup2

sorry to hear about work. Looks like you figured it out.

Huh? OK, I'll bite, why do you transplant horseradish?

A good man. And I am sure you do.

Never understood why KY fans can't support the other schools. I get the rivalry when they play each other, but wanting the other to play badly doesn't make sense to me.

Have to admit I enjoy when FSU and Miami lose. Deep dislike for those schools. DD got accepted to FSU and I am proud of her that she doesn't want to go there. Yes, I admit it is a character flaw.

When I drove through KY, had some good BBQ at this hole in the wall place. Much prefer pig ribs to cow. That is some good eating.

I would like to take all the credit, but won't. I have been her only coach and did enroll her once in an indoor teaching program (she didn't like and quit after the 6 week session ended). There were a lot of tie games and 1-0 games, but we managed to hang in their competitively and win a few.

Coached her in both T-ball and soccer. Also stressed the fundamentals. She was OK in soccer (made varsity last year) but is really good at Lacrosse. If she got involved earlier, I could see her playing in college. The thing is that almost every kid on the team never saw a lacrosse stick let alone played the game. First year of varsity girls in Dade County this year but the other teams have many kids that play at club level.

Have a very critical eye with all her coaches but I can't find much at fault with her current coach. The girls play with determination and spirit. They have also gotten better with each game. They still stink up the place but they are getting better.

And I am sure you deserve some credit in your DD's success.

Yes, it was all your fault FL lost because you posted on the DisBoards. People and their silly superstitions. Now, where are my lucky socks?

Actually change shirts watching football games when they suck. Like the team says, "Look, CJ changed shirts now lets play better." Stupid I know. They should be in the Final Four but let that one get away. They did go further than I expected. Oh, and I gave your lucky socks to the mutt I did not want. He is eating them now.

Aloha from Maui. Travel day was long and exhausting. We're relatively settled in now and looking forward to 2 weeks of relaxation.

Go easy on rubbing it in because I will get payback when we go in June. Hope the family has a great time.

Kids went to a surprise party for someone last night, and went to hide for the big reveal...

How heavy should I invest for tuition fees again? :confused3:lmao:
