Whew! Better an expensive physical than the alternative. I think you made the right choice. Want some bacon? :lmao:

::yes:: Absolutely!

Glad things checked out OK. Next time back away from the heart attack burger for breakfast.

Please. What kind of slob do you think I am? It was just a McGriddle.

Oh, that explains it better. I was concerned there, in a world where the Captain is considered sane, I would be the crazy one.... right, nemesis?

:rolleyes1

Mark,

I am glad everything checked out! That is nothing you want to mess around with.

Thanks, Dave.

Can never be to safe. Take care of yourself.

Thanks, Brian. I'm celebrating my clean bill of health with a double quarter pounder.

Wow, Mark! Scary! :scared1: Glad you're okay! Do you go to yearly check-ups? Probably a good idea! They'll check your blood pressure, heart rhythm, labs and give you a good idea about whether this is something you need to worry about.

Of course I do yearly check-ups! As in, some years, I have a check-up. :thumbsup2

All of my numbers were good. They didn't check cholesterol, though, and I know I need to have that checked, but I don't want to because I know it's high. Then I'll have to run or something. :scared1:

Hey, guys.

Weird day yesterday. I was at work and started feeling chest pains mid-morning. Lasted about 10 minutes or so and then slowly started going away. I hemmed and hawed about whether to go to the ER or not, and finally decided to get it checked out. Turns out it was a false alarm, and they couldn't find anything wrong at all. So I guess it ended up being an expensive physical. I feel a little silly about it, but I guess you can't be too careful in that case.

Anyway, it would have been a lot more fun hanging out here and talking golf and which coffee is better than Nescafe (such as Pennzoil).

Just had a buddy of mine tell me about his roommate. He complained of chest pain. Didn't go to the hospital. He found him two days later... In his bed... Needless to say the coroner carried him out!

One of my employees nephew (age 22) complained of chest pain.. They rushed him to the ER.. He died as he was getting out of the car! Don't ever deny chest pain! Weakness, or dizzy spells! Go to the hospital!

YOU DID THE ABSOLUTE RIGHT THING! And you should go again if you feel the same pain! You could have a heart problem that was not detected! DON'T IGNORE IT!

My lazy dog again!! I have no idea how she get in the bed like this!! But I came home for lunch.. She doesn't get up to meet me at the door!! I find her in my bed like this!!!
That's my pillow!! No wonder there is hair on it!! I thought I was just getting balder than I already am!

Mark...dude...no bueno...Glad everything worked out though:thumbsup2

The government makes me get a physical every year...which is fine, they pay for it...and it turns out they're going to be paying some for my high frequency hearing loss thanks to firearms training!

I don't know about you guys, but winter decided to add a few more days down here!

That hearing loss couldn't have been by those errant flash bangs, right?? :lmao:

I think old man Winter just wanted to show young little Spring what he's really made of! I think he's just being a punk... :rotfl2:

You can't have hearing loss. Nature simply stopped emitting those frequencies.

So, what, temperatures dipped into the high 60's? :rotfl2:

First off, very glad that you're OK. Next: Don't do that again.

Hey all.

I see we are crawling to a finish on this thread. :rotfl2:

not much to report. getting ready to swap out with DW and head to work. Managed to get my hands on the Dave Ramsey book from the library today. Oh, and a new ADR might be working its way into our trip. DW texted me today to tell me we forgot about the Flying Fish... so now just working out the "when" part. might try to leave DHS for dinner and go back for Fantasmic!

So in case you were wondering what was up with me the last couple days, here's the rundown. I went to Fast Care on Thursday due to the issues previously discussed here and was diagnosed for ear and sinus infections, put on antibiotics and eardrops and sent home. Well, I could tell the sinus was getting better, but my jaw was getting worse and I could not swallow without pain. By Sunday, I could barely open my mouth a centemeter. And while some of you saw that as a blessing, it was making me rather miserable, so after a call to our physician, we went in to the ER to get it checked out. After a couple hours there of trying different methods to get into my mouth to figure what was up, a specialist was called in and determined based on a CAT scan that apparently the sinus and ear infections spawned an infection in and about my jaw muscle tissue and membranes, causing them to swell and make it difficult to open my mouth. Left untreated, this infection could have closed off my throat or traveled up to my brain. They decided to keep me overnight for an aggressive treatment of stronger antibiotics and steroids (to make the swelling go down, which I thought steroids did the opposite of that). I responded very well to the treatment, and they wanted to keep me an extra night to continue, just to be on the safe side, and released me this morning to regular work, diet, and activities. I am still not 100% yet, but I feel MUCH better now than on Sunday. I am still on the mend, and am now taking my meds orally now. I have decided to sadly bow out of Bards on the Bay performance this Friday, I am just going to rest the next few nights and get better so I'm there for Annie's trip to the hospital. I do hope to make it to the audience for Friday's show if all goes well. And that's the world I know.

You're not one.... but you really should be!!!

misdirected fart - I'm guessing that's the technical description.

Again... glad he got treated before it got worse.
