Consecutive day ownage. Back to Back.

The old place you could tailgate. Miami is a crummy sports town. If it is not an event. people don't show. The park is nice but I will take Chicago or Baltimore over here. Never went to Fenway. Love baseball so I came back and bought a 20 game package. Ozzie was pretty calm at the press conference after the first game. Don't think it will last.

At least you have a pro sports venue. My 8 time National Champion UK Basketball team is 3 hours away and only a college team. Reds are 4 hours away. Tennessee Titans are 2.5 hours away, but neither are KY teams.

LIKE IASW? Say it isn't so. And the adoption paperwork was sent with your ticket to the game.

Guilty. Until the boats get backed up too deep, I realize I am in a happy world. I'll go check the mail again. Sometimes, th pony express isn't to reliable.

Was just reading News & Rumors on the It's A Disney World After All site, and I found a couple things some of you might be interested in:confused3

- The Citrus Swirl is back and you can get it at The Sunshine Tree Terrace

- Russell & Dug from UP are now featured as a Meet & Greet at the Tough to be a Bug entrance replacing Flik

I like the UP movie and characters, but would prefer Carl and Dug over Russell.

Good morning all. Just waiting for client number two this morning. Looking forward to reading dons updated trip report from two years ago this afternoon!!

Now that you have your iPhone, download the photobucket app, do your live TR, and you won't eve have to worry about it again.

Today is going to be BEVERLY kind of day, I can already tell. I've been here less than 2 hrs and I'm ready to go home for the day and waste the vacation time. :headache:

Matt

Wasting vacation time? There can't be such a thing.

DW red boxed two movies last night - The Help and Captain America. We will all be watching Captain America once the dds wake up this morning. As for the Help, it was a good movie, set in the 1960s in Mississippi about how an aspiring author interviews African-American maids and publishes a book on their perspective on what they are asked to do and treated.

Since we just had the real opening day of baseball, it reminded me of Jackie Robinson and what he had to deal with in certain towns, the difference between how he was treated in training camp and the nearby cities. While I am not perfect in anyway, it still shocks me how people, to this day, chose to treat other people and somehow make it morally acceptable in their own mind, and then are able to obtain followers to aid them in that behavior.

Ok, so that is way to much effort for a Friday and on a vacation day. Burp. That's better.

You bring forward a very good point, and I have to agree with you in principle. However, its overcast, and about 55 degrees. Not prime vacation weather.

Matt

Morning gentlemen, just in the office for a few minutes to sign time sheets and check on important news :rolleyes1. We are off to OH today, though not as quickly as I would have liked :headache:, and won't be on for a few days so I wish you all a Happy Easter/Passover.

Try to keep it under control as well. Last time I went away and left you guys on your own the Thread That Shall Not Be Mentioned occurred.

It is the 40s here so I get that part, but it is also windy so dd and I will go fly her kite later. A paid vacation day out of the office is always better than a day there.

Morning all!! A little story for Friday:

This took place about 20 years ago when my Niece was 5, DW and I lived about an hour away from my sister. Since my sister is 12 years older than me, DW and I always prided ourselves on being "the cool" Aunt and Uncle. We found out we were going to be working on Easter Sunday so we made plans to visit the weekend before. When my Niece woke up on that Sunday we had created our own "mini version" of Easter, complete with egg hunt and a bunch of toys and candy.
Now I know what you're thinking, "You cannot mess with the Easter Bunny-Time Continuum", well we had a plan for that!
DW is Maltese (little country just south of Sicily) and we told an elaborate story of "The Maltese Easter Bunny". Now, the Maltese Easter bunny visits the families of all the Maltese people all over the world, but since he doesn't have a sleigh like Santa he has to take a plane, and since it's 12 hours to fly from Malta to Canada it is just easier for everyone if he makes his North America visits the week before to ensure he has plenty of time to get back to Malta in case he gets bumped off a flight or misses a connection.
Well my Niece was thrilled, my Sister was happy, everything was right with the universe, and our status of "Greatest Aunt and Uncle Ever" was further solidified.......

Right?:confused3

WRONG!

My Sister calls me about 10:00 the next morning, NOT Happy!:headache:

You see, my Niece went to school and during "share time" shared the legend of the Maltese Easter Bunny, which immediately set off waves of crying and various level of anger amongst her classmates whom the bunny did not visit:scared1:!

This is hilarious! Love it!

Shockingly, all of my kids are still believers. My oldest will probably believe forever, but I think that my middle one (11) is just faking believing for his younger sister...

Morning guys. Happy Easter/Passover to everyone.

For those of you not working today; :thumbsup2:thumbsup2 <= not thumbs.

Good Friday? I don't think so :sad2: ... No work means GREAT FRIDAY!!!! :yay:

Happy Easter / Passover to all...

Was it the Phillies great pitching or Pirates lack of offense. Oh wait, have the Pirates had any offense the past decade?
I'd say the Pirates have been very offensive for the better part of two decades.
It is the Cubs. What did you expect?

This year, that's exactly what I expect. But part of being a Cubs fan is allowing the Cubs to break your heart every year. It's just that this year my heart-wounds will scab over and turn to stone pretty early in the season thus preventing more wounds. I'm looking at 2014 as the next time I have high expectations.

DW had a great idea for a gift for my birthday this year - personalized license plates. She wanted to run it by me first before she ordered them, since you can't return them. I told it her is was a great idea!

She is ordering Texas Rangers plates. We had space for 5 characters, so we tried a bunch of different combinations to try to find something cool that was available. We almost went with FU*NY, but thought it might not get approved. :lmao: We ended up blending two of my favorites together in one - Texas Rangers plates with EPCOT for the letters. :thumbsup2

Randy, that was funny. Your DW should work as a story person for WDI. I can see it now, the Maltese Easter Bunny Ride. They would combine it with the You Have Wings thing of a number of years ago.

Happy Good Friday/Passover to everyone. For Lent DD gave up junk food (sodas, chips, desserts of any kind, candy etc.). She sees light at the end of the tunnel. I see a sugar overdose coming Sunday.

Paul, back at you buddy.

I'd post this question on "the other site".

Aaron (who lives there more) probably has some good advice for ya.

Hey Jeff, sorry you're going through this.

The TV they are offering, what is the regular retail price of it if you were going to buy it?

As someone who runs a help desk, all I can say is when the supervisor calls, don't "go off" on him. If he has any power to do anything more for you, you will get a lot further if you lay out your case, let them know you are very upset, and let them know their company has put him in an akward position.

Two lines that go pretty far are:

"I understand you didn't make the decision to stop making the parts but there has to be something more you can do."

and "You have to realize from my point this will make me seriously reconsider buying or recommending another Samsung product at any time in the future."
