DIS Dads DDC XVII - Leap year edition

Spring is upon us. These are starting to show up in yards around my neighborhood.

Now that breakfast is done, how about some ice cream?

Make sure to use the proper door for your height.

What's that you say? CFA's "ice cream" really isn't what you want right now. You'd rather have some real ice cream... ok.

I can't wait to get back to DCA later this summer or in the fall. Next door to Cars Land will be one of these...

The first actually located inside a Disney theme park.

And Downtown Disney in California will be getting one of these later this spring as well.

Now I can have a yummy sandwich on both coasts!

It's shaping up to be a beautiful day here. I think a ride is in order.

Of course it could be a good day to get out and play a little of this

We're now just 3 weeks away from this - DD will be 8 next month.

I'm kinda thinking tacos sound good for lunch today...

But not fowl...

we had that for dinner last night.

I wish we had one of these here in Central Indiana...

There was a great table at Dave & Buster's for DS16's bd party. I grew up with one in the house... I miss having one.

Well we got our taxes finished this week. Last year was a really crazy year tax wise with lots going on. Getting a hefty amount back from the feds, but sadly it all has to go to the state, who we owe a hefty amount to. I hate our state when it comes to this time of year. Every year since we've lived here we've always gotten back from the feds but had to pay the state. Finally that should change next year, as there's no more out of state employer involved, who always messed up the withholding instructions. There were several of the team members that I used to work with who said the same thing, despite all the objections and attempts to get them to do it correctly, we all were screwed because they never did enough for the state. Oh well. It wasn't as horribly painful as I thought it might be. And now we can turn our attentions towards our anniversary. We turn 18 on Monday.

It's a nice quiet house right now. All of the other 4 are still sleeping.
