DW and sons are going on a date tonight. Our local Chick-Fil-A is hosting a mother/son night.

In 2 weeks I'm going to "Daddy-Daughter Night" with my DD in her AHG Troop. Last year they did a dance. This year it's going to be Game Night. Everyone is encouraged to bring their favorite games to share. That'll be interesting. But she's very excited about it.

Last night DW & DS watched Apollo 13. I watched part with them, and then went to bed. Haven't seen that one in probably 10 years or more. It was neat to see again.

I'm looking forward to heading south at the end of April. 6 more weeks til I can be in Florida. 7 more weeks til I can visit WDW again.

I'm so excited. Some of you know that my favorite book is Les Miserables. I've read it 7 times. My favorite theatre show is Les Miserables. I have seen Les Mis on the stage 23 times in the past at venues across the country, including the next to last performance in NYC from it's initial run. Well the new revival tour is coming in Indy in April. I bought tickets for it last week, and now I get to share that experience with my boys. I'm excited.

I met with the local youth baseball club yesterday regarding sponsorship. I'm hoping it will help bring in some new business.

At this point, I'm looking at nearly 80 boys going to Summer Camp with us, but sign-ups continue. We're ending up with 42 new Scouts in our Troop - we were thinking it would be 30. So far of the ones, only 15 have signed up, so I know we'll be over 90 by the time we close out the sign-ups - it could be 100! Last year I took 90. I'll be happy if we beat that by even 1, but of course I'll be giddy if we go higher. I love our Troop!

Good morning guys :cool1:

I disagree with this "good morning" theory of yours... too early.

Good morning guys!

I disagree with th.... Ooooh! Bacon!

Stopher, thanks for the pictures this morning. I needed a little Disney fix this morning, and you supplied it in excellent fashion. I thought I might have to fly to FL for work next week, but it looks like that trip is off, which means any chance of me renting a car and heading over to WDW during downtime is also off.

Well, I've been chatty and picture posty enough this morning. I think I need to get some things done before the family wakes up.

You're welcome! Always happy to oblige & provide. And thank you, Eric.

:headache: Bummer. I always loved those little side trips when I would take work trips to Florida. Can't wait to do that again in 6 weeks myself.

Looking at Stopher's pics this morning reminds me, it's probably time for me to go make Breakfast as well. I'm sure DD5 will want her normal Saturday morning breakfast.

Stopher - when you believe in something, you go at it 1000%

23 times? :scared1:

I saw it once on stage, and then I went to the Concert.

I really enjoyed both...

I guess I need to go another 21 times, and read the book 7 more times to catch up.

Look at Pooh waiting so patiently for his Mickey Heads. He even brought his own honey to dip in it.

::yes:: pretty much...

Yep. I could have seen it last fall when I was out in LA - it was playing at the LA County Music Center (where DW and I met), but I didn't have the funds to see it on such short notice. I didn't know that it was there, and just happened to go by the Center and saw banners for it. Naturally I HAD to stop in and check it out. It was playing that night! But they wanted $125 for a ticket and just couldn't do it. I was so very :sad1: walking away from the box office. But then it made me think, and I went online and saw that it was touring the nation again, and that it would be here in Indy in April. :woohoo: So that made me a little :) again, knowing that even though I missed out on that performance I could still see it one more time.

I'm a little bummed because it's been "updated" a little bit, but hey, it's still Les Mis, and I'm good with that.

You could do that... or just send the $$ my way and I'll be happy to take a few for the team and go see it again, and again, and again. :rotfl:

I also have a video (VHS) about it - "Stage by Stage" made in the early 90's. Plus a DVD of the 10th Anniversary Concert, plus I downloaded the 25th Anniversary Concert from the O in London last year.

I have the Original London Cast Album, the Original Broadway Cast Album, the Complete Symphonic Album (my absolutely favorite), and the Original French Concept Album (this one has always been a favorite too).

Now I think it's time to start reading the book again...

I don't think you want to know how many times I saw Phantom of the Opera...

of course I only paid to see that one 4 times - the rest were when I worked at the LA County Music Center... it was somewhere between 100 - 200 times (on the upper end of that range). Part of the job was standing inside the theatre and watching for cameras to confiscate them if people tried to take pictures.

I really liked the times when I got to escort school groups during the daytime to tour the theatre, and go backstage. Seeing all of the intricacies of the show was fascinating.

Save some for me. One the way.

Morning guys!

DW just signed up for the Tower of Terror 10 miler in Sept. Anyone else in?? :confused3

You pulling me around in a wagon?

One more week till we pay tribute to the mouse in his kingdom!

Have a great trip.

We've lost shoes 2 times. 1 time I got them back... the other time, they were eaten by the monorail.

We hopped on the monorail- off to the Grand Floridian we go!

This is the last picture of Cinderella's glass slippers. While we were stopped at the TTA, Juliana thought it would be a good idea to hang her foot outside of the door. While she was pulling her foot back in, she clipped her foot on the floor of the monorail and her sparkly shoe fell off. Not only did it fall off, but it fell in the 3 inch gap that is between the monorail and the platform and down 20 feet. There was no way to get her shoe back. Luckily, we had her crocs with us.

We've not lost them, but used something like that as an excuse to buy more WDW crocs.

Figured I should get at least one post on this thread before it closes. I just haven't been around much.

We've been pacing ourselves. Good to hear from you.

Watching BBall. Syracuse and Kansas go down? Now watching a very boring UM/FSU game. Tomorrow Florida plays Kentucky. Care to bet Norm? Sorry, I may have been born at night but it wasn't last night.

What's the bet? Actually, KY has been playing uninspired ball. With those other losses, UK is sure to get the #1 seed. It may be better for them to lose now and refocus for the tournament. You hear what Calipari said about conference tournaments?

Well, the end to a long week. Getting over a cold and 11 work/ travel days, I did not exercise last week. So, the 30 minutes was tough this AM. But, I did manage to eat healthy - fruits and vegetables, less meat, and hit my calories each day.

I now know why DW was so agreeable to me ordering the iPad. I should have expected something when it was that easy. Her credit card bill/ shopping spree arrived yesterday. :scared1:
