Morning Dads!

Finishing employee reviews today, it's going great this year! I my team that we both know what is on this piece of paper will never be read by anyone and will have little to no effect on their raises so I'm just going to email them out to everyone to sign and return instead of sitting down with them. If they want to talk about it just let me know, so far no takers. 10 down 15 to go.

I should get some kind of comment on my employee review for being so efficient!

Those things are worthless. Bravo for getting them done. When I had to do those, I thought about writing "call me if you read this" on there, but was worried I would Beverly off the employee who actually thought they meant something.

2 hours without a response.

Now that's a thread killer!

Driving this week. 11 hour days. Early bed time.

$399 will be the cheapest you will find for the iPad2. Unless you are willing to gamble on Craigslist . I saw one on eBay and it ended up going for $455.

I would pay $400 for one. I haven't found one that cheap.

Agree. Today was supposed to be first soccer practice. It has rained 3 hours straight, supposed to rain all day, and drop under 50 by 5:00. I'll probably cancel it.

Had a very busy past couple of days. Hope you all are doing well. I've missed some pages, but not taking the time to go back. So if I've missed anything noteworthy or praying worthy - let me know. I did see on FB that Mark's MIL passed away, and of course I've been praying for their family. Otherwise, just popping in to say hi. Working on some cruise quotes this morning that I need to get delivered.

"We talk often enough, do you want the long or the short version."
"Short"
"Good job, keep it up"
"Thanks"

My best was when my boss called me in for a review where he had completely documented a series of meetings where I discovered a problem, we came up with a solution, trained the team, and deployed the solution to the field.

The only problem, this was the first time we had sat down since my previous years review!

I wrote in the comment box "None of this would have been possible without John's excellent mentoring."

When I was in Roatan, one of the group had an I-Pad and I was sold. Will get a 3 when the furor dies down. Hopefully before my May trip to the World.

Side note, the Ground Denting, Pirate Princess was checked out yesterday by the school's trainer. Knees are bruised, no other damage. They are black and blue. Looks cool. Given the OK to practice at her normal level. She is supposed to see the trainer next week for a follow-up.

Hope everyone is having a great day. nearly 2 weeks have gone by and still no reservation for our trip in jan. May have to look at other options for renting points. Anyone ever used the rent/trade boards on dis. We were hesitant to use those and went with a company and thought that would be the safer bet but they have yet to get the points to book our reservation.

So, I am trying to plan my trip in December and trying to get my Mother to decide what kind of room they want. In the middle of all this it hits me....I don't think my parents ever took me to Disney!

In Grade 5 I went with my best friends family, in grade 10 I went with my Brother, and a bunch of trips after that with my wife. There was always a running joke in my family that after I was born the family celebrated by going without me (true story, left me with friends at 4 months). But if there was a trip after that, I don't remember it!

I was planning this as time for DS to spend with his Grandparents but if this is true they owe ME a whole lot of memories. Better tell the old man to start working out, whether he's laying on the ground or standing on his feet, one way or another I'm watching a parade from his shoulders!

We're leaning towards a 2 BR at AKV and I think they will be picking up whatever I calculate the value of that to be with points. The good news is that will probably cover the cost of dining plan and annual passes for DW, DS, and I since technically we have already paid for the points.

Which class did you enroll in?

Customer Service. That should be easy enough I can get it done in a weekend, but still gives me something to learn from. You can never have enough customer service.
