I bet you're counting it down :cool1:

Thanks for the advice though about the early elementary years, makes me feel a little better about it haha. The sort of wean me off of the off-season trips slowly.

Yes… yes we are. ;)

Y’all will be fine. Every young’en is different. Some recover more quickly when they’ve been out. But then again, some classes (say advanced mathematics) are a lot harder to deal with if you get behind. I’m sure you’ll see where you can work on your own agenda and where the scholastic one will have to win out.

We do try to make use of the winter and spring breaks where possible (and the odd long weekend), but you just have to accept that the parks will be very crowded, and you probably won’t be able to take advantage of very many (if any) of the specials and/or free upgrade offerings.
:headache:

A house full of girls in no fun. I grew up with three older sisters and man did they fight all the time.

DW has the opposite problem. She was raised in a house full of women, but now is completely outnumber by the guys. We just don’t talk near enough to suit her and the distinct lack of drama actually gets on her nerves at times.
:lmao:

Hey Ryan - welcome back! :thumbsup2

Sorry to hear about your dog....hope everyone is doing ok.

I missed this story.
Sorry to hear that you’ve been having troubles.

Ok, way behind, probably won't catch up all the way, but I have a question...

I don't fly often, and I don't wear a suit often. As luck has it, I have to fly to Washington DC tomorrow and bring a couple of suits with me. I have a garment bag, but according to the information I've seen it is too big for a carry on. I can fold it in half though, and it fits the carry on size requirements. Should I be OK taking this as a carry on or will they give me a hard time about it since it will be too big when I carry it on board?

This is the only bag I'm going to be taking it, and really don't want to have to check it... especially since it is completely soft sided.:scared1:

And an HBD to Don
party:

(with a thanks to Randal for keeping track of all the birthdays ‘round here )

Have a great trip and give that little one some extra spoiling.
Congrats all around.
:thumbsup2

We had an eventful weekend in our house. The kids in the school’s percussion ensemble pull off an absolutely unexpected 4th place overall finish in a regional competition on Saturday. I may go toss some details in the Brag thread rather then bother y’all over here, but needless to say, we’re all very proud of those young’ens.
:woohoo:

So...where was I? :confused3

Happy belated birthday to Chris and happy birthday Don!

Jeff, have a great vacation!
Thanks guys cannot wait to spoil her :wizard:

Have a GREAT time Jeff!! We'll be heading that way Saturday morning and I'm not sure how I'm going to make it through the week

:cool1::yay::cool1::yay:
hope you make it thru the week :wizard:

Best Dole Whip...EVER!!!

IMG_0166.jpg

Yes that is Orange AND Pineapple Dole Whip Swirled in a Pineapple Float.

...und Genius!
now that looks good cannot wait for my next trip to have one

Our DD is 3 and one on the way, I'm trying to work a trip in for the free dining late September. Sqeaking as many in as we can off-season before we succumb to the school calendar.

That is an excellent idea. Even Kindergarten can be sacrificed. September would be great, you can still get to the MNSSHP.

Is it me, or do they post weird times for HM? In August, the wait time posted at one point was 14 mins..:confused3 13 though, is a LOT cooler

Mornin' Guys -

Woke up to about 4 inches of heavy wet snow on the ground. Nobody was expecting it - so our roads are iced up and schools are closed.

And my DW (teacher) was just saying last night how she didn't want to go to work tomorrow. :wizard:
I say that every night and nothing ever comes of it. :sad2:

So...where was I? :confused3

Did you wake up face down in a gutter, half naked and handcuffed to a goat again?

Morning everybody. I've missed like 2 threads, I think that deserves a double-crud.
But you're back now and that's what matters! And not a minute too soon. Tim and I are running a half marathon challenge and have a thread set up for it. We need all of the advice from professional runners that we can. Link in my sig...

I know the rules...Pictures or it didn't happen.

Fed-Fuzz meets Corn-Fuzz

DIS DAD Meet OWANAGE!!!

I'm thrilled that my local school district has set the 2nd week of March as Spring Break for at least the next two years. It always used to be tied to Easter - but we never knew until they released the school calendar if it was the week before, the week after, or a few days of each.

I think you should be OK with that Andy. I've seen those types of bags on flights often and so long as you can "make it fit" I think they'll let you go.

You'll probably be fine with that. Depending on how thin it is, they will hang it up for you in a closet at the front of the plane.

Everybody knows that Fed is quick enough to push the shutter button, run into the picture, smile, then run back and grab the camera before it falls to the ground.

Not true. The camera was just afraid to fall.

Welcome back, Ryan!

Morning, gents! How is everyone? Fun night at the MK last night. DW had to go home but I got to stay in WDW for my conference. Enjoying some time to myself. Tonga Toast & Kona coffee for breakfast. Yum!
