Good afternoon eveyone!!!! Good news this morning...They were able to sprad out Ethan's breathing treatments during the evening and night to at least 4 hours and that was the clincher to get to come home.:

My Dad is among the disaster relief volunteers headed to that area. Prayers for the victims.

Please continue to pray for the family of my friend, Lt. Cmdr. Dale Taylor, USCG.
He was the pilot involved in the Tuesday PM Coast Gaurd Helicopter crash in Mobile Bay, AL. His body was recovered today.

My heart breaks for his wife and two sons. They were friends of ours, in our Sunday school class and Dale coached Upward basketball. Dale was a great husband, father and friend. He exemplified integrity and hard work in all he did.

The last conversation I had with Dale was about WDW. We sat and talked in the church gym while watching our kids play one Wednesday night. He loved taking his kids to WDW, and we discussed activities, resorts, restaurants and rides.

Anyway, thanks guys.

Godspeed Dale.

As of last report the body of the fourth member of Taylor's flight crew has not been found. The funeral for Lt. Cmdr Taylor is set for Monday morning. If I can arrange it I would like to send a wreath from Disney Dads but felt I should at least let you know what I'd like to do. My idea, my cost but I know I can't speak for us, just me.
Truth is, given the short amount of time til the funeral I'm not sure this can happen but it's on my mind so ...

I took a minute to read todays paper and look what I find in one of the sections...

I'm safe, but haven't heard from or been able to contact one of my research assistants and one of the agents I work with the next county over lives in West Liberty where much of the town was reduced to rubble. Her farm is between where the EF-2 hit on Wednesday and where this EF-3 went through yesterday.

Hope everyone turns up safe and sound...

Glad everybody is safe! My kids and grand kids in central Kentucky are safe as well.

Good morning all :thumbsup2

Morning, Dave.

Finally reached my assistant. She is fine. My County Agent over in West Liberty made it through but has extensive damage to her farm. A link to the NWS report with a few pictures.

Morning everyone. I have been blowing my nose and coughing up pieces of lung for the better the part of 2 days now. Snot sure if it was the weather or allergies with new blooms. But, I did snot thru my ref recertification with a 98% on my test. I disputed the answer that I missed.

Norm - did the hurricanes hit your neck of the woods?

Yes. My house was fine, but it blew on the soccer field and crushed two storage sheds with nets and balls. Friends had barns, porches and some other damage. We did not get it as bad as the others on TV.

Now there, ya see.... it's a good thing you are not on TV. :lmao: :rotfl2:

As per my new goal of weight loss, I did have 13 straight days of exercise (30 min) but could not go yesterday as I was too sick. I managed to eat at or under 2000 calories each day with no alcohol. I have seen the results on scale and feel it in clothes. Now, the next obstacle. Not only am I sick, but I have to travel next week. Hopefully, I will get in the workouts and keep eating right.

I usually open the Kleenex to see how yellow or green my snot is, along with any boogers or blood. I'll take a pic for you next time.

Never had that desire. I don't fear public speaking, but no desire to star on tv. When I get my lottery winnings, I want to retire to WDW. No other aspirations.
