Oh boy! Now it's time to get really wild & crazy... it's time to walk out to the mailbox and get whatever the mail carrier brought our way. Wow. Contain your excitement on my behalf. :rotfl:
Good look

So which one of you wants the bill that came in the mail?

Don't all rush to raise your hands at the same time...

What?!? No one wants it? :scared1:

I'm shocked and appalled.

I'm sure you'd all just LOVE to pay my auto insurance premium, especially with a 16 year old in the house as part of the bill now.

Alright, I'll pay it myself.
maybe you should teach that bad old mail person a lesson and trap the mail box with a tiny bit of C-4 and video tape it that will teach them to bring you bills :rotfl2::lmao:

Oh yeah....

Because I know most of you were wondering......

33 Days!

:cool1:
have a nice trip

So my DW was giving me some grief about the amount of pins that we purchased on the trip. Each kid had a pin necklace with a starter set of 7 pins (so $30 each) and then I bought another starter set to spread around between the 3 and let them each buy a couple of special pins. I also bought some pins for myself.

I (of course) dismissed her concerns, but when I got to work today and started counting my pin collection, I'm starting to see that she has a point. At current count, I have 117 Disney pins on my board at work.

Hello, my name is Chris, and I have a Disney pin collecting problem...
wow i like the DVC key thats a nice one maybe you need PTA they do have meetings you have to buy in a 2 pin minamum :lmao:

In case anyone was wondering, Beverly has been outlawed in Food Fights by the Geneva Convention.

Have you seen the new one? The Department of Transportation is redoing a big stretch of I-94 and a lot of the interchanges along there, so they bought and razed the old building. The company (Mars Cheese Castle) built a new building in the past year or so just behind the old one - and really played up the "Castle" part:

what is this ? never herd of this

I would love to join the club. My family was laughing at how many of the qualifications I met.
well you did not tell me exactly your Qualifications ?
but Welcome To the DISDADS :wizard:

Thanks. The food and drink changes are easy, but am not sure if sustainable. Hopwfully, i can find sime long-term balance. As for the exercise, I played in high school and was in good shape in college. I went to UL and even played with Greg Minor in some pick up games when he was freshman. (He went pro for a few years but was most recognized for not paying child support.) Now, 12 years of marriage have just sucked the life out of me. It has been 8 consecutive days of 30 min exercise. That is a behavior I hope I can continue. I actually feel good, but still don't look forward to work out time.

Keep it up. After a few weeks that exercise becomes routine, and almost second nature. :thumbsup2

Considering it was jet fuel involved, I would think it would fit in a story about FreezinRafiki's van.

Valid point. :lmao:

Have you seen the video though? Pretty impressive explosion. The camera angles they have didn't even have the truck in frame. You just see his car slide out of the bottom of the frame and then a huge fireball shoots up in front of the camera. It really made me think of your affinity for pyrotechnics.:lmao::rotfl2:

It's times like these that I'm glad I have no interest in Nascar... :rotfl2:

I don’t normally bother anymore either. I gave up on it somewhere back in the early 80s when it stopped being about driving and started being about personalities and product placement.

But like I said… there it was, so I gave it a shot.
That likely won’t happen again.

My DDs all have collections and DW has a few herself. I think I have just found a reason to start collecting pins of my own. More stuff to decorate my office with!

We have one of those zipper folder books that they sell there in the pin shops. Each family member has their own pages, filled with pins. My eldest started the craze in our household. Then we all kind of caught it. It's died down though as the last time we went as a family, they took stuff to trade, and didn't really do that much. That phase lasted about 5 years for us. Expensive habit, even with buying them on ebay for "seed traders". I still buy them for myself, but they don't seem very interested anymore. Who knows, we'll see in July if they want to trade again or not while we're down there.

But they still won't let them race in the rain. :sad2:

My 4 YO loves the pins, but hates giving his up to trade....he doesn't quite grasp the concept yet:lmao::lmao:

I gave him a couple of NCIS pins, and he guards those with his life:lmao: (Don't know why, I can get him more, and someone ALWAYS wants one of those).

In regard to the race last night...WOW!! Nice Fireball there Juan Pablo. Not that I think he was really at fault, that had to have been on massive failure.

How many times can you say don't bump the left side of the car in turns? Someone needs to post it note that to Sadler's steering wheel.

On a side note, my fishing buddy died yesterday of his cancer. 10 days from diagnosis to final resolution..:sad1::sad1:

Really kind of tearing a bunch of us up...

We're towing our boats and leaving one rod on the deck for the funeral procession.

So - I thought I'd share a little bit of drama with you guys.

This number has been calling the house here for quite a few days from the Aegis Group and we've been ignoring it, thinking that if it was really important they'd leave a message.

Well, tonight they left a message.

"This is Sean from Spirit Airlines calling in regards to your flight 801 on March 31st. This flight has been downgraded. Please call blah blah blah to be assisted in your travel plans."

:scared1:

Oh no they didn't!

So I called and I get some chick that doesn't hardly speak english and I can't pronounce her name.

Her - "Sir, it appears your flight has been cancelled for the 31st. We need to reschedule you."

Me - "What happened?? How could it be cancelled"

Her - "Due to mechanical Sir".

Me - "Huh?!?"

Her - "Let me check to see what the next available flight for you."

HOLD

Her - "Sir it appears there are no more flights for the 31st, the next available flight would be for the 2nd of April. Can we get your flight changed the 2nd of April for you?"

Me - "NO - you don't understand, I have to be in Orlando on the 31st."

Her - "I understand Sir and I do apologize, but I can offer each person in your party a round-trip flight for a future trip for the inconvenience."

Me - "NO - I NEED the 31st. I cannot be flexible".

Her - "Can you please hold while I check on one more thing?"

Me - "Sure"

HOLD

Her - "I'm sorry sir - I can offer your party each two round-trip tickets for the inconvenience"

Me - "NO - you don't understand, I HAVE to be in Orlando on the 31st! Whether its on your airline or another one, I need to be there on the 31st"

Her - "I understand sir and I do apologize, let me check with my supervisor."

HOLD

Her - "Sir, thank you for holding. You will be on that flight on the 31st. We will guarantee your seats"

Me - "So you're telling me the flight ISN'T cancelled???? I do have seats on it???"

Her - "Yes Sir, you will have seats"

Me - "So my flight stays the SAME?"

Her - "Yes, Sir. Sorry for the inconvenience."

Me - "OK thank you"

:sad2:

:faint:

Needless to say I'm royally P'd off.

I think I almost had the big one!

We've had these tickets since August 19th!

Obviously the flight is overbooked and they're looking for people to switch flights. Unfortunately, they chose to lie to their customers in order to get them to change flights rather than tell them the truth that it was overbooked!

And the whole time, I'm checking other sites for other flights and there are like 5 flights all for like $715 a ticket!!!

Just thought I'd share this drama with you! :thumbsup2
every year i usually get a phone call that they change the time for my flight and every year i get the early departure . but I will say i always hate hate these phone calls they are so irritating . :wizard:

Audrey tonight gave up her bacon from dinner claiming she didn't like it. I am considering councilling. :sad2:

Worse still, my other daughter beat me in the race to claim it.:headache:
you snoozed and dd won we are going to have to put you are bacon probation around here till you are quicker then your DD :lmao:

Ah, I read Garden Grove, but read Epcot night, so just assumed :confused3

Never ate at Garden Grove, but didn;t really mind the food at Grill. Actually thought the salad was one of the best I've ever eaten (and if you seen my pics, I'm not a salad person :lmao:)
i have to agree and i eat salad the dressing was amazing there

Was it overly seafood or a fair mix? Neither DW or I are huge seafood eaters
i did not think so they gave us a salmon, steak and something else like turkey

Last night I learned that Bigfoot likes bacon:lmao: At least that what they said on the show:confused3
I cannot watch this show i think it is a hoax . :rolleyes1

Saw this on Facebook and it was very apparent that he had a lot of good friends. So sorry for your loss.

Sounds like that would be a fitting tribute to your friend.

Wow, that's a tough way to go, but maybe better than being eaten up by cancer over months or years.

Condolences to you, your fishing buddies and his family. The tribute looks like it will be fitting.

I got the email I was waiting on this morning...or so I thought. I was waiting on confirmation of our reservation for AKL villa from the co. we are renting dvc points from, but instead the email stated they didn't have the points to fulfill our request:eek:. That was about as bad as the Fedex truck being at my house when I got home the other AM,(thought I had won the OMDD contest).:lmao: No worries they expect to have points soon.

So sorry to hear this Mike.

Wow. That was quick between diagnosis and death. But it can be so much better that the suffering wasn't prolonged. Hang in there. We're here for you.
Praying you through this time of sadness.

"This is Sean from Spirit Airlines calling in regards to your flight 801 on March 31st. This flight has been downgraded. Please call blah blah blah to be assisted in your travel plans."
Did I ever tell you the time I flew on Spirit Airlines and I sat on the tarmac for 4 hours and never left the airport... then we were finally cleared to leave we taxied back to the gate because the pilots would of went over their flight hours if they made the flight. :headache:

I will NEVER fly them again.

That's nice!
you rang???? :confused3

every year i usually get a phone call that they change the time for my flight and every year i get the early departure . but I will say i always hate hate these phone calls they are so irritating . :wizard:

Oh - and they have changed our flight time on our return flight twice. It started off as an early 6am departure, then changed to 9:25 or something, now it's 7:30a the last time I checked.

Did I ever tell you the time I flew on Spirit Airlines and I sat on the tarmac for 4 hours and never left the airport... then we were finally cleared to leave we taxied back to the gate because the pilots would of went over their flight hours if they made the flight. :headache:

Unfortunately, they're like the best deal from any of the airports around me. No airline in Cleveland flies cheaply to MCO or Myrtle Beach. So we either fly Spirit out of Detroit or something else out of Columbus. And Columbus is a farther drive for us.

We flew them last year to Myrtle Beach and it was uneventful. Just hoping that this trip to Orlando and our next trip in June to Myrtle Beach is uneventful as well.

Still majorly p'd off that they weren't honest with me.

And they haven't kicked you out of South Carolina yet??? :confused3 :lmao:

There is only one race left in SC and that’s only because “NASCAR” hasn’t yet gotten around to a complete shameless honorless abandonment of their roots
(but it will happen… likely soon).

Like I said, racing is now about product placement… superspeedways… big market cities… television rights… and everything else that makes America look rather shallow and ugly at times.

We have plenty of small dirt tracks down this way though…
Come on down and I’ll take you out to an actual race.

Morning peeps!

Its Tuesday and Im still at work. Good news is the boss is on vacation until Monday. Now streaming Disney music thru itunes to my speakers!

I know what you mean with the drink it was 99.9% water or i would mix in those 0-5 calorie drink mix in it for a spice up ! I have the same 12 years married and it was not bad up till this year with wife not working for over 7 month's and this was my stress eating and i really have to start putting in the time to drop it Because i lost my father young 49 he was over weight and was a big time smoker too . and being 44 it is starting to make me nervous every day it gets closer to him !
