Breakfast
Tusker or O'hana?

DTD Dinner
T-Rex or Rainforest Cafe?

For breakfast, it depends on where you're headed after. 'Ohana if you're on your way to the Magic Kingdom. Tusker House if you're headed to Animal Kingdom.

As for Downtown Disney dinner, I vote neither. They're essentially the same restaurant with alternative animatronic theming. I'd go to Wolfgang Puck Express rather than either of those. It may not have quite the atmosphere, but the food is MUCH better.

I tend to agree about DTD.

But here's my reasoning... I am more compromising with DW, as she wants to do more kids oriented meals, and I want good food. ;)

We will be on DDP, and are going to do:

- Via Napolli
- Kona Cafe
- 50's Prime Time
- Liberty Tree
- Le Cellier

We were going to do Hoop De Doo, but DW wanted something the kids would enjoy, and I didn't want to give up any of the above...

So we gave up Hoop De Doo for 2 kids meals - one character, and the other ambience.

We will be doing AK (without park hoppers on the breakfast day), so that's why Tusker.

In that case, it all depends on how your kids feel about dinosaurs.
If your kids are really into dinosaurs, T-Rex is REALLY impressive. If they're NOT already into dinosaurs, T-Rex may be TOO impressive - some kids get scared by the huge (and loud) dinosaurs. If they might get freaked by the dinosaurs, do Rainforest Cafe.

About 38 degrees, a bit windy, but sunny. Nice for Maine in February.

We actually set the traps then hang up in the house and watch to see if any flags pop. I'm far from a "real" ice fisherman... :rotfl2::rotfl2::rotfl2:

So you are one of "those" ice fisherman. :rotfl2: I may have enjoyed it more and kept up with it but we were open ice, sitting on a 5 gallon bucket, and scooping out the ice to keep the hole from freezing over. I finally wised up and realized nature was trying to teach me something. I envy those guys that had the fishing shacks. Some of those were nicer than some places I've seen lately. Glad it is going well and fry one up for me.

I think I am leaning towards T-Rex...

simply because we have a Rainforest Cafe here in TO (I haven't been there in about 10 years, and my kids haven't been there at all) but at least it's an option. :)

If they really enjoy T-Rex, maybe we will try RFC here in the future.

Snow is about done. No school across eastern KY tomorrow. We didn't get as much as originally planned thankfully. Only about 2 inches. Power is flickering so we will have to see what the morning brings before I tell SWMBO and the kids to return.

Ethan and Lauren both enjoy TRex....I agree with Aaron that Trex and Raincafe are the same thing with different decor.

Of the forcasted 2-4 inches here we did not get as much as a single flake! Still no school tomororw...President's Day! :rotfl2:

That is good to know as the family will be traveling through southern OH on the way back.

My kids were actually scheduled to be off for that as well. The public systems were all scheduled to attend but they have so many snow days banked they are looking for excuses to cancel or the kids will all be done before May. They couldn't just keep them in school a little longer and teach them something. :sad2:

Whatever happened to celebrating Washington and Lincoln's birthdays separately?

Ooops... yeah, Wednesday... :rotfl2:

We are still on :)

The entire universe is counting on our kids to bring balance to the force.

D'oh... no, now I realized what I was talking about...

I am MAKING my 180 day ADR's this Tuesday...

But - in August on Tuesday, I will be in DHS. On Wednesday I will be at AK doing Tusker breakfast (instead of HDD dinner).

T rex was really loud. The food was about the same as RFC. My dds don't ask to go back to T rex, and only the youngest will occasionally ask for RFC. We had one in Nashville 2 hours away until the flood there.

We didn't get any store.

The show Finding Bigfoot is in Kentucky tonite:scared1:

No need to look. I am right here.

I made the mistake of signing into my email and found out too many of my colleagues are working tonight as well.:headache: I think I hear a warm cup of cocoa calling my name. Good night all!

Breakfast
Tusker or O'hana?

?

Breakfast at Tusker if you're going before park opens. You know how much I say that. Plus, the breakfast is right by the safari ride - first one one.

After Travis, you are next Norm. I will ask Fed to be my second.
.

Let's just settle this by who wins SEC this year.

I was born at night, but not last night. Have a better chance with water balloon grenades. Maybe we will talk tournament time. Or maybe which team that wins the NBA Championship has the most UK vs UF players.
