I hear ya, Rob. I've been feeling the need to vent about a cruddy workplace as well lately. Seems like the news doesn't ever get any better. And yet, we're employed and putting food on the table for our families. I guess lately I've been feeling the frustration at work, but that in turn is making me extremely grateful for the hour when I get to leave and go home to the wife and kids. I hit the jackpot in that area, and if I had to choose either success at work or success at home, I'd take the latter every time. :thumbsup2

Home Time Wins.

I work over when required to, but only when required to.
I gave away too much of my youth as it is.
I don’t get that back.

Actually… trying to keep up with y’all here is one of the methods I use to survive the day. Believe it or not… this motley collection of guys comes in a close third behind my wife and son as the reasons that I haven’t “truly given up”.

Thanks for that.
:grouphug:

When I get home, I’ll knock back a shot of scotch and chase it with a bit of bacon is y’all’s honor.
:thumbsup2

All very well said. worse comes to worse, at least I'll have Jo and the girls no matter what, and you guys of course.:thumbsup2

Well, last shift of the week for me!!:woohoo: Granted, Friday nights of the Long Weekend are never pretty, but I don;t have to deal with Saturday or Sunday..three day weekend!! Can't wait to get home, and spend an hour catching up here.:lmao:

Second consecutive ownage!

What are you talking about? :confused3

Just sayin’…
I get’s me my share of posts around here, but I’m not one of the masters.
:lmao:

This idea will be ran with I'm sure.

Now THAT would be something, wouldn't it?!?!

Just let everyone in my office know that I will be out on Feb. 29th.

Challenge Accepted. :thumbsup2

Naaaa… it’s still leap year whether we close it down in a week or a month.

However, and not that I would condone such a thing, but…

If we can (somehow or other) keep this one open until then… we could open a “Leap Day Edition” on the 29th and see if we can close it down in one day. There are folks here that can certainly put a hurting on a thread. And… once we’ve done it, that milestone will be out of our system and we won’t need to worry about that particular bit of nonsense again.

Now I’m regretting that I actually said that out loud.

:lmao:

Hey, why is Don all curled up in the corner and shaking?

Me thinks Leap Day will be a lot of fun! :cool1:

I'm looking forward to it already.

:yay: :woohoo: :dance3:

Well if we’re gonn’a do something foolish as this we might as well give Don a heads up. If he wouldn’t mind opening one up right after zero-hour on the 29th… I’m pretty sure we could lay waste to the thing within 24 hours.

I might have to take the day off just to join in and witness the carnage.

one republic's Good life just came on pandora here in the living room and my 3 yr old comes running thinking its the disney planning dvd or commercial.:lmao: She saw it once and now requests to watch several times a day. She will watch that but watches none of the disney cartoons.:confused3

I like that song, but it has become synonymous with WDW now... :lmao:

I can hear you conversation with your DW, "Honey, I'm going to burn a vacation day so me and the boys can shut down a thread in one day. You'll have to take care of jr while I'm doing it. OK, Sweetie?" :rotfl2:

The wife will not be happy with me that day.:lmao:

I'm pretty sure we could as well.

Yes, a heads up would be appropriate. As it really ought to be a separate thread.

:lmao:

We could burn through this one, and another before then! :rotfl2:

Yes we could.

Welcome to my everyday.

:rotfl2::rotfl2::rotfl2::rotfl2:

:rotfl:

True! :lmao:

I wonder how many threads we can blow though before then?

See above. At least 2.

Some coordination will be necessary. Let's assume it gets to 270 pages, to be safe. That's 4,050 posts, or an average of just under 169 an hour.

Given that the very early morning hours, and late night hours will be undermanned, we're going to need a large push mid day.

We can do it, no question, but we should be prepared for it. :thumbsup2
