Morning Dads.

I get to stay home today with a sick DS. Was pukin' throughout the night and we need this to be gone..FAST. Surprise cruise for him comes up a week from today and we need to catch our flight next Sunday. Hopefully this is the 24 hour variety.

‘Morning all…

Raining here. Just the right touch of gloom required for a Monday.
Hope all are well (or at least moderately so).

Cucumber Pepsi wasn't tat great either.

That sounds rather… ummmmm….
Unappealing.

Many of you passed this milestone long ago. As you can see I’ve been around for a few years and I have actually been very consistent in visiting the boards the whole time. So why did it take me this long to get to 1000 posts? :confused3
Nice Job!:thumbsup2

House feels quiet today. It has been 17 years since last we were without a pet in the house. The DD's are already talking about a dog. We have been talking about getting one in the future ( after June) but now they are a little more urgent about it.
They are still sad but look at things differently, they want a replacement now even if they are sad about the loss of the other one.
Sorry to hear about your cat. We had to put our dog down a few years back. It was a very quiet 6 months, then got another. Then another less than a year later. Now DD wants a cat, too. I swear, that girl would run a zoo if we let her.
Afternoon Dads! Hope everyone has a good Sunday.....we're off now to take the kids bowling, this should be..interesting :rotfl2:
We typically drive past a bowling alley during our weekend errands. Both kids ask when we can go bowling again. I point to the bowling ball that DW is carrying around in her womb and just say "later"

My son got assigned to a T-Ball team today, He is a player on The Yankee's:goodvibes
My condolences. :sad1:

There had to be a little pixie dust last year when my DS got assigned to his first t-ball team: the Braves. The team that just happens to use WDW as their spring training home. pixiedust:

That sounds nasty!

Does anyone remember Pepsi Blue from about 10 years ago? I picked up a bottle, just to try it. Gave DW as sip, she made me pull the truck over so she could throw up. :scared:

Here's to hoping for a quick heal. Have fun on the cruise!

Sorry to hear it. Never good to have a sick young’en, but better now then in a week. Hopefully this will pass quickly.

Great post, Mike. We're glad to have you here.

Glivec is keeping the leukemia in check. I'ts still difficult to have to go to the hospital once a month and watch a third of my salary go to medicine, but could be worse.

Hope you're doing ok. :goodvibes

I think I just threw up in my mouth a bit.

Morning guys....
It was one of THOSE nights last night, the ones where sleep that does come was restless, could not get my mind to shut down

Same thing happened to me last night. I didn't get to sleep till 1:30 a.m. or so. Gonna be a long day.

Ugh. Hope he's feelling better soon. Seems like a lot of stomach bugs going around this winter.

Morning gents!

Hope all are well! What'd I miss?

Seems very unfair to be back at work today, but fortunately, I'm heading back to Disney on Friday! :cool1:

Sorry about the video feed. Needed some video Viagra. I'll try again from the Boardwalk on Friday. Maybe it will work better :confused3

Looks like more rain in Daytona today. I hope they can get this frickin race in sometime.

How is that any different than the regular NBA season :confused3

They didn't call travelling. Oh wait, they don't call that anyway. :)
2 very valid points. Also, bringing up the main reasons I haven't watched a complete NBA game in probably 10 years.

I actually liked it.:rolleyes1

But not as much as I liked the Clear Pepsi. I forget what it tasted like, exactly, but I remember that I really liked that one.

Jealous.:headache: :rolleyes1

Good luck! We're all counting on you!

And I really mean that in this situation.:rolleyes1

There's got to be a joke in here about an adults only trip, videos, and Viagra. But I just can't seem to put my finger on it without getting banned from the DIS...

I didn't think it was that bad either.
I think the Clear Pepsi was supposed to take just like Pepsi, but I honestly don't remember. :confused3

So we are under two weeks until our trip and I'm hesitant about our Garden Grove ressie for our epcot day. I'm concerned that we will likely be in the world showcase that afternoon and not sure if it is too far of a trek over to the GG for dinner? Was thinking maybe via napoli or mexico for dinner? Or just roll with the GG ressie?

haha nothing like second guessing yourself at the last minute :lmao:

Shall we look for it on the disdad forum? haha :rotfl2::rotfl:

Fortunately if you really must let that joke out there is another venue where that would be allowed. (diddad dot com forums)

So I'm back in the office today catching up from being away at class since Thursday. The class was good, but DW mentioned to me that she has never seen me as mentally exhausted before and that included the time I spent doing my MBA at night school. 3 more weeks to go and hopefully "One and Done".

I would avoid Mexico. Food isn't nearly as good as Via Napoli. The food at Via Napoli is some of the best in Disney. And I would agree with your concern about the hike back to Future World.

Reservations have gotten significantly easier to change now that they are requiring credit cards. Go for it!

haha your facebook recommendations motivated me to reconsider. Via Napoli seems more economical also versus garden grill. Those buffets really add up without the dining plan and a group.
