Well my friends, and yes that includes everyone, I had an interview with USPS yesterday and if I pass the background and drug test (neither should be a problem) I will be a part time Rural Carrier after training. I was told it might take as much as 8 weeks to get through the background check and all the Beverly with drug testing, then I would have to wait until the next open training sessions. I will keep everyone posted as to the progress. The PO I would work out of is about 12 miles away. Still hoping I get an offer from BOEING though, just for the time off at Xmas.

:rotfl2: We'll have a Canadian version of the thread for you. It will be a much wider thread, with fewer downs and lower player salaries. Doug Flutie will also be your post count leader, even though he'd barely crack the top 30 over on the official thread...

:rotfl2:

That seems more my speed ;)

I ALWAYS have extra. I tell people I am Italian by stomach. My very first job in High School was at a local Family owned Italian restaurant. My idea of portion control stems from that, not USDA and Weight Watchers. ABONDANZA is a way to live.

I tend to cook that way as well. My first job was bagging groceries. But, I eventually found my way to the deli/bakery where I learned to cook in mass quantities.

Certainly sound like a positive outlook. We’ll keep thought and prayers toward something better cropping up, but this sounds like a good start.

Good news Andrew! I hope BOEING calls too.

I can't play now though. I've neglected the house all day and I need to tidy up before the wife comes home later to make it look like I accomplished something today. :lmao:

that sounds like me every weekend when the wife has to work :lmao: ....which is, actually, every weekend. :rotfl:

I hope you stayed up all night studying for that drug test, I've heard they can be hard :rotfl2:

Good luck with the jobs! I heard that Boeing was suppose to be opening up alot of jobs for the 737 or 737 replacement jobs.

It's really cool to see their building and production line here in SC near the airport

4 am comes awful early.

So, I'm off to bed. Good Night Men!

Looks likes Randall may be opening the door. At only 60 behind, I could take a run at him; however, my battery is almost dead so I won't be online much longer. :happytv:

That's too bad. You could do it, I'm sure!

recipe please

2 pounds baby red potatoes, cut
2 bell peppers, sliced or cut
2 pounds italian sausage
olive oil
italian seasonings
salt & pepper

I cut up the potatoes and the peppers, placed them in a gallon sized Ziplock bag, poured olive oil in. I sealed bag and shook to mix. Added what looked like the right amount of seasonings, salt, pepper, and garlic and shook again. Cut sausages into thirds, poured everything into a baking dish (15 x 10 I think) and baked 45 mins or so.
