I’d have to go look it up exactly which funds are included. My employer offers a very limited range of choices (like three). They’re literally named: “short-range”, “long-range” & “low-risk”. I’m in the one with the longest-range outlook at the moment, but they control the exact makeup of the portfolio (I have no farther say). However, they actually put out a memo just yesterday listing a couple of new options. I haven’t set down and look that over just yet (but it’s on the agenda).

Dinner here will be Sausage and Potatoes. I just cut up the potatoes and onion and threw them in a ziplock with olive oil and spices, to quote the Cake Boss Buddy V, 'so the flavors can marry'. I will add yellow and orange bell peppers and the italian sausage right before baking. Too bad I am the only one in the family that likes wine, a nice chianti would go well with this.

In one of my jobs, I also have company stock, but am forbidden to mention it. (That's what they say in the training sessions).

DW and I actually have fairly decent 401K funds to choose from. But, to minimize fees, she has two of these funds in her portfolio and I have two of the funds in mine. These are small cap, mid cap, large cap, and a balanced fund. It was difficult picking funds, but I got to take the Fidelity one since Disney is one of the companies in that fund.

I ALWAYS have extra. I tell people I am Italian by stomach. My very first job in High School was at a local Family owned Italian restaurant. My idea of portion control stems from that, not USDA and Weight Watchers. ABONDANZA is a way to live.
