Has anyone heard about possible opening dates for Gaston's Tavern and Be Our Guest restaurants in the new Fantasyland? I thought I heard they would open this summer and I'd like to try one or both in August...

DISer DanBoris has put together a fantastic diagram estimating opening dates. The color gets darker around the months more anticipated. The Fairytale Hall is still unknown.

I was on Wikipedia and noticed on the POTC info there is talk of a 5th POTC!
Am I the only one unaware of this?? Anyone else heard more?

It is kind of funny as I have them all on DVD. The third one has a sticker on it saying something like The end of the blockbuster trilogy or something like that. Whoops.

Hah! I'm a stay-at0home dad - I haven't worked in years! (Well, not according to the Census people, anyway.)

I'd get you coffee, but my new coffeepot (Christmas present) gave up the ghost yesterday, which tells me that it was either a manufacturing defect, or I have really got to cut back, because I am wearing them out too fast.

And yes, I already have a new (and better) one - hoping that it lasts for several years. I just have to unbox it and set it up, which I will be doing in a few minutes.

I've kind of been wondering about how they'll do that... Will they announce an opening date 180 days out so that the ADR's can be made like normal, or will they announce it a few weeks out and just have a free for all?

I doubt they would know 180 days in advance - too many variables that far out to pinpoint an opening for a restaurant. My guess is they will open ADRs up for, say 2 months out, but have a soft opening (no ADRs) for a few weeks or a month before that.

Movies 2&3 were shot at the same time, so they knew it would be a trilogy. 4 was shot after 2&3 made enough money. And 4 certainly left open plenty of room for a 5th. If the Disney bean-counters say there will be money in it, I'm sure they will shoot a 5th.
