Im hoping the rain will hold off enough for me to run out and shot some photos today. Its the 150th anniversary of the Battle of Elizabeth City, and the city is doing a lot of reenactments, including Artillery (Cannons) and people reenacting civilian life during the civil war. Looks interesting!

For you Apple dads there is a app for the iPad called Explore Disneyland. It is free! You can see all they offer and they have some things you can experience right on your iPad

DD5 is playing it now! Can't believe how much is in that app. They really did a great job with it. My favorite part is, it was free!!!

For you Apple dads there is a app for the iPad called Explore Disneyland. It is free! You can see all they offer and they have some things you can experience right on your iPad

I wish they would transfer some of these apps to the android market.

My folks just returned from Hawaii... (ok, Florida, but they were in Hawaii 2 weeks ago).

They brought me a lb of 100% Kona Coffee....

Gonna try it in the morning.

How was that coffee?

Kona is pretty darn good. Blue Mountain is better, IMO.

So I received my 10 day no expire tickets today from undercover tourist. I realized I goofed and didn't get the park hopper on them. Can I add this when I get there? Or do I need to take care of this ahead of time?

This is essentially true.
You only need to have one unused day left on your ticket to upgrade the ticket. BUT, the PH option costs the same regardless of the length of the ticket. So the earlier you add it, the better off you are (because you'll get more use out of the option for the same money).

There are two options-
1) if you didn't open the tickets, call UT and tell them you wanted the PH and they can reissue you new tickets.

2) Just upgrade when you get to Disney- The only downside of this- your UT tickets cost LESS than the Disney tickets and I'm not sure if they will adjust your ticket price when adding the PH. You might have to wait to your second day (after entering a park the first day) to get the full value out of the tickets.

I bought an 8 day PH WP&M ticket from UT. When I bought the ticket it was $50 off Disney prices w/ no tax. I wanted to change it to a AP. I had to use the ticket the first day then do the switch the second day. I tried to change it the first day but the Disney computers we showing the actual price I paid for the ticket and I would had paid an additional $30 to make the switch. The second day the ticket was showing the current Disney price for the ticket and I was able to upgrade with no additional cost to me. (i hope this all makes sense)

We got our maps today with the revised magic kingdom map without dumbo or fantasy land just a bunch of trees and grass where they should be. It looks so wrong. When we were there last march we were on dumbo and could see over the fence at the construction. I can't wait to see everything that is done, if we can see anything at all.

Yeah, we were there during all the construction last October. I'm real excited how much different it will be this October.
