I wish you didn't post that... Its like a train wreck, I clicked and can't look away! :scared1:

It really is much nicer in the man cave. :thumbsup2

Hehe... time to put the troll motor on the boat.... :boat:

Sometimes it is kind of fun to go into those threads. There's a certain entertainment factor to it if you don't have anything better to do. :lmao::rotfl2::rotfl:

Holy cow:lmao::lmao::lmao:

Some people have waaaaaaaaay too much time on their hands....at least we discuss important things...like bacon:lmao:

FOr those non-New Yorkers out there, which is most of you. Today is the parade in honor of the Giants down the Canyon of Heroes (Broadway).

I took the Metro-North train from my house into Grand Central Station as I normally do before catching a Subway to my office. The Metro-North train had more than twice its usual ridership with high school and college age kids all decked out in Giants paraphernalia. There were also older people, 20s and 30s, also dressed up.

This brings me to my point/rant. At eight in the morning, on a commuter train, why on earth is there a need to drink? Lord knows, I have had a drink or two in my lifetime. But chugging beer and doing shots from a fifth or a flask on a train at that time of day is just crazy. Nothing good is going to come of that.

Anyway, I skipped the parade and went straight to my office.

Chris, you knew that was going to happen. I'm watching on YES. It is much safer here in my house... Christopher likes it too. ::yes::

I probably won't. Been pretty busy at work so far today. It's been a while since I jumped in to the fray on the strategies board. The names look pretty familiar in that thread though. :lmao::lmao:

You're right. I guess a part of me hoped against hope that it would not happen.

A few years ago I had the misfortune of representing the family of a 17-year old young man who was beaten to death during the St. Patrick's Day Parade. It was a fight that got out of control between a group from the Bronx and a group from Brooklyn. Of course, alcohol was involved.

I have never gotten it out of my head and I can't see kids drinking before/during a parade without thinking of that incident.

I think you told me about that at the game. What a horrible story.

Hey Ron...DW and I have been going over a lot of factors and despite our mis-givings and trials about Florida in the summer, might move our trip next year back to August. Amelia is improving in school, and we don't want to jinx it by losing a week again. Plus I really need to maximize my vacation time, I only get 4 weeks a year, and next year will be Audrey's first with no day-care, so I gotta use the time ith them more then ever. We figure the money saved on not buying tix for MNSSHP can go top a couple of extra nights at Disney! :woohoo:

I have 15 years to go to get that many weeks of vacation:scared1:

ok, just activated the gag relex.... im watching how they make veggie burgers. :confused3 sometimes you just have to ask why.:lmao:

Better not watch how they make MSC (mechanically separated chicken). You may never eat some brands of pepperoni again if you do. They used it at the last place I worked. That stuff is plain NASTY:scared1::sick:

Sometimes I wonder why I stray away from the DDC and the TRs board. I was reading about the FP return time enforcement out there in DISland. I was going to post on it but I figured I'd just save my breath (and by breath I mean typing).

It's a jungle out there guys, stay here where it is safe! :thumbsup2 :lmao::lmao:

No way...I prefer to live in blissfull ignorance :rotfl2:
