Seriously, you are absolutely right. Another example of Lucas fixing something that wasn't broken. In the first movie, Han was a smuggler, a rogue, a money-hungry opportunist. At the end, he finds redemption and believes in the cause. There was no need to make his killing of Greedo more "just" and "in self-defense". Greedo was a bounty hunter who was threatening Han Solo and was going to take him to see Jabba. Han was a bad a-- and killed him first. There was no reason to make it any more justifiable than that.

Greedo has his gun drawn and is pointing at Han, but he never shoots at all. Han flat out kills him before it gets any further, which was probably the right thing to do under the circumstances.

So my DD8 is excited to see the re-release of Episode I in 3D which is great as I truly believe that the complete saga is the best collection of cinema ever compiled.

I am attending a presentation by an IT company Friday morning, and afterwards they are showing us one of the first local screenings of Episode I in 3D (and free refreshments!) Looking forward to giving it another chance (heck, it's free.) Episode I was my least favorite of the VI movies.

Back from Disney World and all i gotta say is Do Not Go To Disney When they are having a DANCE COMPETITION at ESPN. Went from a crowd rating of 1-2 to 4-6. Sucked!! I know we could have been dealing 10's but getting spoiled with 1-2's the having to wait for rides that were walk on earlier just stunk. Teen bopper girls everywhere. And I thought the Brazillion's of Brazilians took their trips in the summer? They were everywhere too. Caribbean beach food court went from 2 people in line to 20.

Also peeved the MK fire dept isn't a fire dept anymore.

Have to finish my last TR so i can get working on this one.

ANY day at WDW - even if at capacity - is better than a day at work!

I don't remember that, but will take your word for it. I remember that Greedo had his gun drawn and Han was able to get his gun out and shoot him. If someone is pointing a gun at you, I think it's ok to shoot first.

Yes he did. He was even spotted wearing a "Han Shot First" t-shirt once. There is even a website dedicated to this travesty.

monologing...... I really liked the Incredibles. One of my favorite movies. While there are many dads living the dream, I find myself thinking of the glory days and wanting a return shot. Unfirtunately, I don't think I have a Syndrome, aka Buddy out there to pay me a year's salary for a rematch.
