I hope both young’ens find a better sleeping pattern as well, and soon. I don’t miss those nights. All our friend, relatives and neighbors used to brag that their kids started “sleeping though” as early as six-weeks. All we could do was smile and nod and say things like: “Good for y’all”, because the truth in our house was that DS would not sleep through regularly for nearly eighteen months. That was a long year and a half. Hopefully I took that hit for the team and you won’t have anywhere near the same problem.

Same wishes for both you guys. DD was great at sleeping through the night. Actually she was a great baby but has been making up for it ever since.

Got an email from the Marlins today thanking me for ordering tickets. They also allowed me to pre-purchase opening night tickets. So, Wednesday, April 4 I will be watching the first pitch being thrown at the new ballpark.

Starting to get excited again for baseball in S. Florida.

Yes, it IS one of those days.. story below.



So after being up with Christopher at 4:45am till 5:45am then back up with him at 6:15am, I decided today would be a great day to go get an oil change since Melody was going into work late. I pull up to the garage of the quick change and I lean over to unlock the passenger door since they give you a full service carwash after- vacuum, windows, etc... Anyways, I lean over to unlock the door when I look up my van is rolling forward towards the door. I tried to hit the break but my foot skimmed the accelerator first and I bashed into the door. The mechanic was standing at the door opening it and the door hit into him. He was ok and just received a bruise on his shin. The cops came and took a report and now I'm waiting to hear the estimate of the cost to fix the door. I have no idea why I didn't put my truck in park. Maybe I was just exhausted. Maybe I'm just an idiot. I hope the rest of my day gets better.

It's great that the mechanic was not seriously injured though.. In philly they would have fallen down.. Screaming in fake lawsuit pain!!

Heard mixed revues about it. Many, many years ago did DL and ate there. Enjoyed the Monte Christo. Maybe will reconsider.

As much as I love the atmosphere at the Bayou, and I loved the 3 days I worked the kitchen there, I too think it is overrated. I wish they still had the Tahitian Terrace, which had a great show and good food. The stand I originally worked at (Carnation Plaza Gardens) is long gone. I can't believe it has been 30 years since I quit.

She started sleeping 5 to 6 hours at a time around the time DW went back to work at D'land and over the weekend when DW had to work Sunday DD slept around 13 hours while DW had about 5.5 and I got up after 6.5. It sometimes takes me yanking the blankets off her to get her up in the morning. Anybody have a howitzer or cannon I can have? Or at least the sound of one. Fed, do you have anything on tape? Any ordnance will do I think.

Rays, Red Sox, Blue Jays, Indians. My plan only includes Boston and I think the Indians is only an away series. Picked that plan because it has the last game of the season.

I think a daily siesta would be good for the work force in general (It’d certainly do me some good). Of course I wouldn’t dare to go as far as to actually suggest such a thing. I’d be labeled unpatriotic very quickly.

MS is my favorite ride at WDW. After waiting an hour to ride Soarin the first time, I was like is that it? A movie about California in Florida? Maybe if they update it I would like it better..

I guess I could see that. It's been almost 20 years since I've been in CA, so I'll give you that. It is just so peaceful and relaxing, and the large screen and sound is great. And, the plane fly by is really cool. We try to catch it right away and FP for later.

Afternoon Guys. DW got into a fender bender this morning, although now all cars are plastic and it sould be refered to as a plastic cracker. Everybody is fine except my wallet.

I get to go to my first daddy/daughter dance as a guest not as the DJ on Feb 11th. I can't wait to tear up the dance floor with Juliana. The good thing is she is too young for me to embarrass her yet! ]

We have one at our school next week, with a western theme. Really creative.

That is scary. I've been feeling like that for a week. Christopher has been waking up every 1/2 an hour to an hour every night. I guess he doesn't like this teething thing.

I think we get to make our first few ADRs tomorrow!!

Still not sure about making a rezzie for our arrival day, but for the first segment of our trip, we are thinking about this:

Sunday: arrival, check out hotel, MK fireworks from room if we get a good view.
Monday: Ohana breakfast, MK day, probably CS lunch and dinner
Tuesday: breafast at Contemp, Epcot day, lunch wherever, dinner at Via Napoli
Wednesday: light breakfast, then leave for Cape Canaveral and DCL Dream!

We are still working on our plan for the post-cruise portion of the trip.

We try to character breakfast inside theme parks to beat RD. Have fun on the Dream and leave it working for us in 16 months.

That sound like fun. The annual "Daddy/Daughter" dance at DD's school is next week. It gives her an excuse to put on a fancy dress (like she really needs an excuse) and me an excuse to wear a Mickey Mouse tie. No limo rides, but we will go out to eat before hand. Last year she chose McDonalds. I'm going to see if I can convince her to pick something a little different this year.

I used to look at those work related and see if I could grab a convention for a tax deduction. But, I'd have to pay for the convention, which wouldn't break even on the tax break. Or, get my work to pay for it, but they would expect me to attend. I don't like those choices.

There was a show on in the 90's I think where they would invite people over and them shake them when they sat on the couch to get their money. It may have been a commerical for something. It's vague but it is the best I've got for a Monday

KY is trying to institute a statewide smoking ban. I think we are either #1 or #2 in tobacco production, and we have the lowest tobacco tax in the US, but let's implement a smoking ban. Wow, there are just no other solutions available.

That's a really cool plan. I had a plan to drive to all 50 states, but that was before I got married and DW killed every ounce of fun. YUUUP! One of those days.
