I picked the Giants, although not sure I want to see another Giants and Pats Superbowl. The last time they played was great.

I guess if you were a Pats fan, then no, it wasn't. I'm surprised SF has made it this far. The NFC West is not really a test and they didn't have a 1st place schedule. They played well against NO and were doing well against the Giants. Looks like this muff punt TD return may get them, though.
I thought the rule was the TD counted if the fumble recovery on review showed they couldn't be tackled. Or, is that only for fumbles but not punt returns? Doesn't make sense. NFL is getting more no fun league with all these excessive rules.
It wasn't a fumble. It was a muffed punt return(no change of possession) and, although it was a clear recovery, you can't advance a muff. That has been the rule for a long time.
