My favorite part is watching the three groups in line in front of me being turned away.:rotfl2:

ADR we don't need no stinkin' ADR.

having DD's can turn anything into a tear-jerker... I was tearing up watching "the Game Plan" the other day. :sad1:

his girl friend is friends with briana and she told briana they removed a blood clot from a major artery in his brain. he has all his movement and as of tonight, his speach is back to normal. tammy and i had a class mate that a week before high school grad. he didnt show up for work. his dad owned a local trucking co and worked for his dad after school. (days before cell phones) his dad tried to call him at home and he wouldnt answer the phone. his dad figured he fell asleep again and went home to drag him out of bed. when he got home, rod was on his bedroom floor, he had a (say it like a spell it) anyourism. he was gone. :sad2: knock on wood, its been its been 29 years since grad. and he is the only classmate we have lost out of 194.

Glad to hear they got the clot out and that he is doing better now!

Well since we were not going to WDW i put my foot down and insisted that we go to Rainforest Cafe for dinner. I had the tribal Salmon and it was awesome. We get home and we start getting dd ready for bed and she projectile vomits all over margie and the kitchen floor. No hint that she even was feeling bad. She has a fever but after she threw up she started running around again. :confused3 She never complains when she is sick, what a trooper.

Hope DD feels better soon!

Hello to all. Those of you who have seen my few FaceBook updates know this already. We are still around and surviving some of the worst weather in a long time in the Greater Puget Sound. We lost cable and internet (and phone service since I bundled it with Comcast) Thursday morning. Well Comcast had it back last night, but we lost power this morning around 4:00 AM. PSE is saying at one time 300000 were without power but now that is down to 180000. We might not get power back until Tuesday, even though the houses next to us (a new subdivision) got power back this afternoon. Since the girls have been out of school all of last week, I want power back so they can go to school.

Right now we are at Barnes & Noble using their free wifi.

I will update as I can. I will not even try to read what I have missed.

Wish me luck.

BTW, since I worked at REI for 26 years we are in good shape for camping equipment and if our beds get too cold we all have 20 degree or better sleeping bags

Good Luck! Stay Safe!

currently taking a break from cleaning out the refrigerator. I am not sure why we even bother to put leftovers in there. They just get buried and only get discovered after a while, and they no longer resemble whatever they were... :rotfl2:

Earlier, I went through the pantry and threw away a lot of expired stuff. What a waste. Some of it was things you buy for one purpose, only use half the box, keep it because you feel weird throwing it away, but you never use it again. Others were things that were just plain forgotten about.

I was reading my Kindle Fire on the train ride home. battery was low when I got off the train, and by the time I went to charge it at home, the battery was dead. Well, I plugged it into the charger and left it for a while, only to return to it and find out it wasn't charging at all. Tried both chargers (my cell phone charger has same adapter) with it, and also tried different outlets, and still not charging.

So, I googled and found this happens every now and then with this device. The fix is to hold down the power button for 30 seconds, release, and then press again.

I did that, and my Kindle Fire now powers up and charges once again. Weird. I was freaking out there a bit, thinking it was shot.

Dear Math,
I cannot find your "x". Give it up already. She's not coming back.
Respectfully Yours,
Me

P.S. Do not ask me "y" either.

Here's one for Fed,

When life gives you lemons, make Lemonade and use the profits to buy a assault rifle. Then see if life makes the same mistake twice.

We are good friends, but if the ZOMBIES chase us I'm tripping you!

Hah! That'll teach ya! I happen to know for a fact that zombies will only stop for BRAINS. They'd still be chasing after YOU!

Wait. What. Um, hmmmmm.....

I don't care what they say, the first guy who milked a cow and drank it was a massive pervert.
