Quiet day for me today I think. I still need to pick up a Father's Day card for dad and a birthday card for my brother.

Did some cleaning this AM before church. Visited a new one since the family is still out of town. Good sermon. Definitely not one the family will be going to as there were only 2 people under 30 years old but something different for me. Only one or two options left and I will have visited every church within 30 minutes of here.

Lunch in eastern KY was baked chicken breast, pretzels, and 6 chocolate chip cookies. Lacking on the fruit and veggie end but dinner will probably be steamed rice and veggies. Won't be much left in the freezer or cupboards when the family gets back but I am working my way through all the excess. All but the creamed corn.

An actual Disney question. Has anyone (I know CJ has) ate at Victoria & Albert's? Is it worth it? Did you do the wine tastings? I was reading its thread on the restaurant boards and it said that dinner took 4 hours. That seems incredibly long to me. Any DisDad opinions would be helpful.

I have. Yes, it's definitely worth it. Especially for foodies. I have pics of my entire meal that I can send you. I probably should do a review... Maybe while DW is watching the Tony's. I'll do more later!

There were cookies involved :thumbsup2. You balanced the food pyramid :cool1:

Back and worn out. Not used to being at the mall that long with no purpose. :lmao: Didn't make it to chapters till the end, after I picked up Amelia, got a few books anyways :thumbsup2

Cookies: They aren't just for breakfast anymore!

Another Sunday ownage.

Big thanks to Brian who tried to help me the netbook working again, but no luck. I may try again tomorrow. DW watching "Couples Retreat". Vince Vaugn makes the movie tolerable.

Cookies we great for every meal.

Thanks. It looks amazing. I've read a few of the reviews. I have worked my way past the price. The problem is the dress code. I'm almost tempted to go with my coat, tie, and pants wearing flip flops because dress code didn't address footwear.

Wow..quiet tonight...:lmao:

Getting ready for bed. I really want to get out my sledgehammer and fix my netbook with it. I guarantee in won't give me anymore problems.

Guys, as I mentioned last week, my sons and I went down to Baltimore on Friday night to see the Phillies-Orioles game and meet up with Randall (Cinderella's Fella). Since we all know the Pictures Or It Didn't Happen rule, I hereby submit my documentation:

This was before our nosebleeds started due to the altitude. Anyway, Randall is an awesome guy and a lot of fun to hang out with. I barely remember much of the game...we spent most of the time just having a nice conversation. Really fun evening. Thanks for taking the time, Randall! :thumbsup2

My Phillies won the battle--or rather, the game that evening--but lost the war as the O's took the next two. Obviously, I'm good luck for my team and need to attend more games.

Also, we showed up early for batting practice and hung out along the right-field railing in the corner near the big scoreboard. It worked out perfectly: a player tossed a ball into the stands, and my son David became the proud owner of a slightly scuffed Official Major League Baseball. Considering I've attended games for decades and never gotten one of these, I was especially happy for him.

There is no truth to the rumor that my other son, Scotty, had several beers before that picture was taken.

Congratulations to David for his new possession!

Scotty always seems to make picture of your kids somewhat interesting. :lmao:

It looks like it was a fun evening. I like your logic about being a lucky charm for the Phils. I think they should reserve a seat on their charter plane, just for you. :rotfl2:

Good morning gentlemen. Monday again. Not sure how that keeps happening but I wish it would stop.

Morning guys...it seems to have finally cleared up after almost a week and a half of constant rain (seriously, like 19 inches worth....and probably more than that).

We went to see Madagascar 3 since it was raining Saturday (Penguins remain my favorite)....I thought it was a riot!

Afro afro Polka Circus...LOL:lmao::lmao:

Now there's an understatement. :rotfl:

Did anyone see Mad Men last night?! Boy, that was a disappointing season finale...
