Seven years ago today I was blessed to become the father of two beautiful, smart and precious little girls

Happy birthday to them!

Ahhhhh, but there’s the rub… almost every thing is a wait down there.

The problem is that there is much there, but it’s mostly chains of one type or another and the density of the crowd makes almost every thing a wait. I’ll ask my family and friends the same question and let you know if they think of anything better.

Thanks a lot for all the pointers, though, and there may be some opportunity to make some drives out away from the mob scene that it sounds like this area will be. We're planning on eating at the condo for breakfast and lunch, and dinner will be out somewhere. How far "out" is really just a matter of what sounds good. Thanks again! I do appreciate it, and all the other recommendations, guys.

I never read that whole thing. Who knows what I signed. I guess I could own 5000 and DW could own 5000 and we would have to go on vacation about 5 weeks a year. A rough life. Maybe this is what CJ is doing.

Speaking of Mother's Day.....

Do any of you have any "disney-ish" ideas for a Mother's Day present?

I've traditionally always purchased the DW a "bead" or two for her Pandora or Chamilia bracelets...I'm trying to think of something new this year.

I will luck out this year. DW said that between WDW and a garage, we're not doing Mothers Day / Fathers Day to each other. And, unlike stories I hear about some DW's, when mine says "don't get a present" it means "don't get a present." So, I will luck out there.

Just finished book 2 of the Wheel of Time series. It's very good. And there's about 13 books I think, so it should keep me occupied for a while. Maybe even until the next A Song of Ice and Fire book? okay, probably not that long, but it's still good to find another great fantasy series to read.

Someone told me the author of Wheel of Time died with 2 books left to write. I don't know if that's true, or if I'm confusing it with another series, but that's what I think I read on Wikipedia.

And George R.R. Martin needs to get writing. He's looking OLD, I hope his ticker holds out to finish the next 2 books!

And the next step is the cost comparison between year long DVC and a home at Golden Oaks.

Had we won the $600,000,000 Mega Millions, we were going to buy in Golden Oaks. But, we didn't win, so that dream died.

And, on this lovely Friday morning, I'm headed to work, and the DW is home with kids for the start of her "vacation." She's done teaching until her summer programs start, but between vacation packing, house cleaning, and keeping 4 kids alive, it's not really "vacation" as much as "working your tail off for a month."

Both options are very appealing. 3 vacations sound great. But, staying in a 1 BR sounds great.
