Never had the gas. My dentist now rubs something on the gums and gives you a shot. I barely feel that. Then, after the shot, he give 1 or 2 more. I usually can't feel my face for 4 hours after an appointment.
Could be worse, you could have been feeling someone else's face....:rotfl2:

Some prayers today guys. Youngest dd has dermatologist appointment and has a cist in arm. I thought today was a consult, but DW thinks they will cut it out. I told dd they were just going to look at her arm to make her less nervous. I better give her the news.

:scared1: Prayers, hope it goes well.

Good morning from my balcony at Jambo. Lazy morning. Slept in and will skip the parks until tonight. Imagine sitting out at the pool in a bit.

What did you have? I had the oak filet, some cauliflower soup, and split a flatbread. Maybe mac and cheese side. Great restaurant.

Had the braised short ribs. Screwed up and did not substitute for the Mac and cheese. Deseret was the Key Lime Creme brûlée. Took most of that home and had it for breakfast. Great dinner.

Good luck to the Princess. Tell her I talked to Mickey and he told me he hopes she feels better soon.

Got back from WDW last night. We had a blast. Noah and I placed 13th out of 180 mens teams in the everest challenge. The late night party was great, He's already talking about doing it again next year. We stayed at Dolphin and at AKL this trip. We were really impressed with both resorts.

Sorry we couldn't connect. Next trip.

Ugh. Sorry, Norm. Hope everything goes ok.

Awesome! Sounds like you guys are a great team!

And here I thought going onto the night shift would be good this week. :sad2:

Every little thing that could go wrong...did. Boss took some of my staff for the day shif, and "forgot" to call in the replacement he penciled in. :headache: A customer fell in the store, had to take care of that.

The topper was though, one of the staff we've had issues with, even to the point we came up with a plan to deal with him when it came up, completely blindsided me, by having a customer (we know they are friends) completely take me to task how we overwork him. I was speechless. Humiliated.

This guy does nothing but ONE job in the store, then complains he has to do it. Then has a customer tear a strip out of me, and plans to take it further up.

I can deal with co-workers, no probs, but I CANNOT WIN AGAINST CUSTOMERS. No way, I am getting railroaded.

Pretty much sat in the office the rest of the night. I Sent emails to the boss (not there the rest of the week) and the "bigger boss" explaning myself. I am done though. I have no spirit left to fight this beverly.

Sorry guys, I needed to rant here (I've ranted alot lately, I know).

Well, that's just plain craptacular. Sorry I can't do more than sympathize. Vent away.

It was a lot of fun. I'd definitely encourage other people to try at. As far as Disney races go it's pretty affordable, the medal is pretty sweet too.

:woohoo::woohoo:Great job!! Congrats!

I once placed 11th in a race...too bad it was a field of 6 :rotfl2: I think a co-worker is going to attempt the Wine and Dine Half Marathon when she heads down in November.

About to head out the door, let's hope this goes a bit better tonight. It will be interesting to see if I recieve any "visits" from head office :rotfl2:

Sitting on the balcony...sitting at the pool....sitting at the pool bar...pace yourself, CJ, you don't want to overdo it on vacation. :thumbsup2

Give 'em heck, Brent.

THanks and will do. Dinner sounded good.

Ugh. Sorry, Norm. Hope everything goes ok..

Thanks.

We are home. They gave her an injection in the cyst. It should reduce the size, which will reduce the pain. She has a follow up in a week. The next option would be surgery to remove. I hope the injection works.

When they gave it to her, she squeezed my hand and i could tell she was in pain. She did really well. The nurse has a child 1 year younger, at same school (only 1st grade) & who plays in same soccer league. I was ready to send my angel back to school, but she starting playing up the pain and ended up getting to stay home. She snowed them good. So, i got to stay home the rest of the day and went to Japanese Hibachi for lunch.

Thanks again for the prayers.

It's nice when the playing up of pain or sickness allows us to get to do something fun too and when it's not something serious! Nice bonus on the Hibachi.

I think I need to start doing research so that I can properly prepare a trip report for our visit coming up in July. I didn't know about you guys on any of my previous trips so this is uncharted territory for me.

Good luck. We'll be praying for you. I've had several cysts cut out, but all as an adult. I can only imagine what's going though the mind of a child...

Thanks. She was worried - me too.

Prayers Norm...having just experienced a few trips to the dermatologist myself and being sliced and diced, it's definitely no fun.

Hope all goes well today....thinking of you and your DD. :worried:

Thanks. I had my first set of many stitches when I was around her age. Glad I didn't have to worry about that.

Been there done that. You can tell her it really isn't that bad. :thumbsup2

Good luck to her.

Thanks. I tried that line from the movie, the Replacements, "chicks dig scars". She didn't find me amusing.

Prayers... Be brave 'lil goofy!!

She was. They even gave her 3 suckers when she was done.

Best luck Norm. Will be praying.

Thank you.

I'm in the group that's had some cut out too. I don't remember mine hurting that much. I might be prepared to think of ways to keep her focussing on you not them cutting it, if your in the room with her.

She had her 3DS with Mario, but she preferred to quiz me from a book on which 8 animals lived near th jungle according the the pictures book.

good luck

Thanks.

Well done nemesis. :thumbsup2

I enjoyed AKV aas well, but not as much as BLT or BWV. How big are the rooms at the Dolphin compared to AKL?

It was a lot of fun. I'd definitely encourage other people to try at. As far as Disney races go it's pretty affordable, the medal is pretty sweet too.

One of these day I want to do a 5K and then, a Disney one. I still have a long way to go.

Yes, but the Hibachi is probably not helping my 5K preparation.

There is a big variety. I have two in my signature link. Some folks take years to complete them. I did a live report the last time here on the main thread and later posted a few shots over in the KY DVC thread. I really like the live trip report. Much better and less time to complete.

So at this point in the process, would a visit be considered a good thing or a bad thing? :confused3 :rotfl2:

You can pretty much do whatever you want. There's no right or wrong way to write a TR, but it's always fun to take a look and get some ideas from other people that way.

I think if you look at DIS Dad's TR's, you'll see that humor, sarcasm and movie references tend to be a huge hit. Just don't rely on bad puns like Barry.:sad2:

Quotes from classic Nicholas Sparks' films? Maybe some scintillating dialogue from the Twilight movies?

One bit of advice - go ahead and lie. We weren't there, we can't call you out! But be warned - the rule is Pics or it Didn't Happen, so be ready to prove it!

There is no such thing as a bad pun. Just bad people who don't like puns.

I'll give it a shot...a pre-trip report will be started sometime with appropriate links as I beg for support.
