You've seen it before, click here, you'll see it again. But you'll thank me for watching it now.

The maple kind. yeah

Really? everyone else had on state-of-the-art, aerodynamically and thermal-efficient running pants, and you chose to wear tights??
Nah the tights chose me. I actually wear them because they help my knees. Supposedly wearing a pair reduces your exertion when running by about 20%. I don't know though I was wearing 5 pairs during the marathon and it was still pretty hard.

on Dole Whips...

I only had one. It was a pineapple/Vanilla. At the time, I didn't know it was such a big deal. I thought it was okay. But it wasn't bacon.

Few things are bacon and even some things that claim to be bacon (canadian bacon, turkey bacon) aren't bacon

dd birthday party (10) on Sunday during the best weekend in football. Why couldn't DW have waited?
How about this one... apparently, my in-laws enjoy celebrating birtdays to the point that it becomes nearly meaningless. Granted, Monday was my nephew's first Birthday, so it is a big one, but we had to go to MiL's house for lunch last Sunday for Mammaw to make a Birthday meal, then we had to go to SiL's house Monday night on his actual Birthday for another Birthday party, and we have another party to go to for him this Sunday for all the extended family.

Oh, did I mention, that the TV at MiL's house wasn't turned on until about 1 min left in Falcons/Giants game. And SiL doesn't have cable or satellite, so no BCS game. And the big party Sunday is at the church, so I'm gonna be missing games again.

And that's not even taking the wedding for people I barely even know that DW is making me go to Saturday afternoon. :headache:

Dinner at 11pm? I'd be eating in my sleep if I tried that! :lmao:

Well, I work til 6 (get home at 7) and DW works til 10. In order for us to have at least one meal together, I have to make that sacrifice (I usually go to bed around 1 and lately have been getting up at 6)

Back to the Future Ownage!

Hardees must be better where y’all are.
Around here… their food is virtually inedible.

Hardees is on my Peanut Butter list right now. I went there Tuesday for lunch and ordered their buffalo chicken strips at the drive through. I waited for 15 minutes, finally got them, got back to work and they didn't have any sauce on them at all. So I had plain chicken strips... no bufallo sauce, no dipping sauces. :thumbsup2

That's the second and last time they've done that to me.:headache:

Their curly fries are not as good as Arby's. But, that monster burger is amazing. 2/3 pound beef, bacon, cheese. It is excellent. Maybe we just gave a good cook here, although I didn't think fast food made it that difficult.

Extended-Family Obligations (EFOs)…

This is why we invented man-caves in the first place.

Is it a drop off party or are parents staying. If they're staying you could have a Tv on somewhere "for the company". Wouldn't want to be a bad host.

Ouch. We are doing a bowling birthday party this year, so I'm hopeful they'll have a tv turned onto the game. Whoever thought of having weddings or birthdays during NFL season?

Bowling Alley. But enough parents will stay to eat that birthday cookie this year.

That's because it's the drive thru man, it's where they put their most incompetent employees, unless you're going thru before Noon on a weekday (because that's when the little old ladies are manning the registers, and they are usually on the ball). This has been my experience at any Fast Food Restaurant.

I think is a general business culture of indifference within the chain itself.
The single best meal I ever had at one was cold, missing only one of the items I ordered, had the rest of the order wrong, and took way too long to get to the counter (and was bland tasting as well).

That was their single best attempt in multiple attempt across nearly thirty years.
I keep going back every so often assuming the every other visit must have been a fluke.

Doesn’t make me want to give them any more chances
