Ohh we were in the parks on Monday and so I took a couple pics of BTMRR. They were already ripping up sections of the track by mid morning. I wonder if the refurb will change the ride much?

They're making it into Expedition Everest!

I can't imagine Indiana being exactly tropical.

No, but my cousin, who lives in Wisconsin, always tells us about how much snow there is every winter. I like snow, but I appreciate the fact that we get a few inches, it melts off and then we get more rather than just piling on top of the last snow until everything is waist deep.

Besides, when I get the urge, I can look out my window and see a hill.

So can I.

See, if they worked it out percentage wise, I'm sure there are plenty of smaller northern WI towns and cities that could beat out Milwaukee. Heck, the next town over from me had their mayor get arrested for DWI this summer.

Nah.. but during the full you could really tell where the half water stops had been because the road got all sticky.

You were right. The full was a much better race. I'm encouraging DW to run the relay next year instead of the half.

It's fun driving around up there. I think every town used the same city planner. Driving through, in order: Bar. Bar. Post Office. Bar. Church. Stop light. Bar. Elementary School.

Have you heard about the mayor of Sheboygan? Someone posted video of him on the Internet, completely drunk, saying some not nice things about his sister in law.

Yeah it's one of DW and I's favorite rides so we were glad we had gotten to ride it earlier on the trip. We heard people talking about it on the train. I guess they didn't realize that it wasn't just a minor glitch. They were kind of bummed when I told them that it was probably going to be down for the next couple of months.
