Barry did you see this :confused3 How did Daniel get a pic of your stash:confused3
Mmmmmmm....

Ugh, 3 Basketball games, all with staggering start/end times. Don't think I'll get to the Yooper thing tonight, maybe Tuesday. In the meantime, this is a good representation of my morning show: http://www.madmusic.com/song_details.aspx?SongID=19295

That is not much of an exaggeration, either.

Checking in from my balcony at Kidani.... This place is unreal. Watching 2 zebras eat 50 feet in front of me. Great stuff.
What kind of feet are they eating?

With the screwed up projector, did you get free passes? When we saw Fantasia 2000 on IMAX, the picture and sound were not synched for 1/2 hour, so we got passes to compensate

I was thinking to go back after the movie and complain, but they did fix it really quick, and I didn't want to be the only one causing a scene...

Geez, I must have scared everyone away! Caught up the 16 pages that flew whilst I worked.

Tonight was a bit of a beverly, I get into work to find that Most staff were going home BEFORE the night crew arrived, durung our busiest time of the day, the "going home from work" crowd. Once again I got screwed so that others can get what they want :sad2: My partner and I got it through, but should not have been in that position. Later on, the night was smooth at least, but I kinda put-in a non-productive day myself as a result of frustration :rolleyes1

One positive though, I talked to a buddy in another store, and got a bit of a run-down on our new boss, it might work out, although I know now our store has a bit of a rep for having "problems people"

Heh to quote Jack "Wait until they get a load of me.."

But it looks promising that he wouldn't take ********, but we will see. I also think a bit of my position in the store is going to take a hit, so I gotta be ready for that. :confused3

Sounds like a bunch of tools to work with.

Hopefully a fresh perspective from the new guy will give the store the shakeup it needs.

I am the runner for the family at Magic Kingdom/Epcot. no issues there. Get me to DHS or Animal Kingdo, I alwys get turned around some reason. :lmao: Adventures won't be a perfect subsitute, but it'll get me a lay of the land. I hope to go within 6 years, if not in 6 yearrs when I earn an extra week vacation/year (my 18th as full time)

I hear ya. I know WDW &Epcot in order, but get lost at DHS, especially around streets of NY everytime. Getting better though.

It's all girls here for me, and I'm not sure anyone is really ready Sometimes they grow up just too fast :sad2:

I used to remember wanting a son. After two dds later, I'm love them so mu h and could not imagine anything else.

:rotfl: There's definitely a reason I'm #2 overall in this clubhouse. :rotfl:.

Looks like you're going for #1.

Let's just say when we got married I wanted to sell all my cars to buy one at 110k she said not a good idea, 2 years later the same car I wanted to buy, and I mean it was the one sold at 285k:scared1:

I might think things way out more then most, but sadly I could be retired by now, if I did what I wanted too, the good news is my wife is now on my side since she has been proven wrong a few times now:cool1: I just have top wait for the next big score:rolleyes1

It's slow and steady for me. I am a dreamer, but don't have the stones to buy some property in FL right now, which is what i really want. We have four mutual funds between us in our 401Ks.

I just wanted to thank you all again for the warm welcome I got last night and, apparently, all through the night! I had no idea a thread could move so quickly!

I am loving the pictures and the stories... Makes the loooooong work day go a little quicker (FOOTBALL TONIGHT!).

I will have to take some good ones when in a few weeks when I am at my second home --- POFQ!

So glad I am done with that!! :cool1:Now it's grand babies. But I can put them away when I am done playing with em!!:rotfl2:

Ditto!

I am just amazed at the price increase! It's like Disney wants us to guarantee that all our meals will be bought in the park and they want me to pay full price in advance! Plus with deluxe signature restaraunts are two meal credits.. That's $60 per person not including alcohol or tip! That, for me and my family comes to $300 dollars per meal!!!!!

I agree, Carl. For our upcoming trip, we're NOT getting the dining plan for the first time. My DW has always semi-insisted on it (she doesn't like to think about money when we're on a trip), but it is just too expensive and there is too much food. After doing the math, we're going to use the Tables in Wonderland Card instead. My DS (who is an adult) and DD (who aren't), both typically eat off the kids menu anyway.

Hello everyone! Haven't been on in a very long time!!

But I wanted to voice my opinion on the new dining plan pricing!! Gaaaaaaah!

I have been pricing out my family of three teens and two adults and impulsively booked the grand Floridian, two rooms deluxe dining and park tickets with hopper. I then sat around thinking about the price. Gaaaaah! Broke out the ole calculator and a piece of paper. (I know, I know, primitive) Priced out each item then realised I am paying $3580.80 so that we can eat for 8 days! That's at least 2 months of food in in my house! The price per person... $89.52! I am not going to spend $90 in food a day per person, with "anti-table service" teens. The average cost of a table service meal is $30 per person along with at least an hour waiting and eating in said restaraunts. In my opinion soo not worth the $$$$$. I spoke with my wife and this is what we came up with.

Bay lake tower 1 bd villa, 8 day park hopper, regular dining $9217.30

What I had booked
Two rooms grand floridian 8 day park hopper, deluxe dining $13025.80

I switched to bay lake tower and changed to regular dining saving almost $4000! That is a lot if cash. The difference in price for the dining plan is $1538.20!

Come on really??? Is Disney trying to justify eliminating the dining plan due to lack of people purchasing the plan? They really should get rid of the "save up to" statement in their description.

I really had a hard time convincing the wife to allow me to switch from deluxe dining to the regular dining (although at $51.07 per person per day is not saving either. She likes the peace of mind of having the food paid for) I think that is what they are betting on.
END OF RANT!!

Bay lake towers benefits 1 bd villa

800 sq ft
On the monorail
Fairly new
Full kitchen I love the normal size fridge and the full size coffee pot!
Two bathrooms
Separate bedroom
Exclusive pool with slide
They say you can walk to MK (we have done it and I find it to be a LOOONG walk at the end of a LOOONG day)

What is your opinion on all or some of this?:thumbsup2

Hi Carl... that's why free dining has been our travel method of choice. ;)

Morning all…
My but we’ve been busy… I’ll go back a rummage through a few pages to see if I missed anything “important”.

Have y’all seen the Google Doodle this morning? :thumbsup2

Missed your entrance last night because these threads move so fast so let me welcome you now. It is a fun and interesting place to hang out.

Carl, after our last trip to WDW, we decided against doing TS everyday. We seemed to spend more time ether going to, waiting for, eating, and coming back from TS that we spent in the parks. So, if we are doing a Dining Plan it would be the QS one. Saves time and money and WDW has some great QS places. We will still do TS, but not every day.

We LOVE the table serve.

We are Commando type people, and are pretty much at the parks from Rope Drop to the last firework.

So slowing down for a bit to have a nice meal and regroup as a family has become a staple in our touring.

We never really did a lot of the table serves growing up, so it is our family thing to do now.

I’ve got a little bit of driving to do today.

DS has auditions for state regional honors bands today and it’s about a hundred-mile drive from here to the school where they’re holding the auditions. He’s old enough and has the license to do it himself, but I don’t think he’s got quite enough experience just yet for that kind of distance. One of the other boys from our band will be tagging along as well, so a smidgen of chaperoning may be driving the decision as well.

They can focus on being teenagers…

I’ll focus on the road :car:

Wait till we close this thing down. ;)

Oh, and look at the date of post #1 of this thread to see how fast we roll here.
