Hey Carl.... I have an opinion but I'm trying to type with one hand holding the baby. I will comment when I get My other arm back. :rotfl2:
(it took me 10 min to type this :surfweb:)
So glad I am done with that!! :cool1:Now it's grand babies. But I can put them away when I am done playing with em!!:rotfl2:

When reviewing the dining plan you listed I say SAVE the cash!

I am just amazed at the price increase! It's like Disney wants us to guarantee that all our meals will be bought in the park and they want me to pay full price in advance! Plus with deluxe signature restaraunts are two meal credits.. That's $60 per person not including alcohol or tip! That, for me and my family comes to $300 dollars per meal!!!!!

Carl, after our last trip to WDW, we decided against doing TS everyday. We seemed to spend more time ether going to, waiting for, eating, and coming back from TS that we spent in the parks. So, if we are doing a Dining Plan it would be the QS one. Saves time and money and WDW has some great QS places. We will still do TS, but not every day.

Hello everyone! Haven't been on in a very long time!!

But I wanted to voice my opinion on the new dining plan pricing!! Gaaaaaaah!

I have been pricing out my family of three teens and two adults and impulsively booked the grand Floridian, two rooms deluxe dining and park tickets with hopper. I then sat around thinking about the price. Gaaaaah! Broke out the ole calculator and a piece of paper. (I know, I know, primitive) Priced out each item then realised I am paying $3580.80 so that we can eat for 8 days! That's at least 2 months of food in in my house! The price per person... $89.52! I am not going to spend $90 in food a day per person, with "anti-table service" teens. The average cost of a table service meal is $30 per person along with at least an hour waiting and eating in said restaraunts. In my opinion soo not worth the $$$$$. I spoke with my wife and this is what we came up with.

What is your opinion on all or some of this?:thumbsup2

We gave up on any DP several years ago. When I did the math, we spent more with DP. Now, we do TS character park breakfast park and TS dinner, including a couple signature TS dinners. But, we like to split an appetizer as a family and neither my oldest dd nor I drink cokes. And, I'd rather have a meal then a dessert. I like ice cream later after the meal has set. DP does not give us that option. We have tried QS in the parks, but DW likes TS so that we can rest. We are in the parks from RD to close. I like the TS meals because KY is not first on the freshest seafood list.

To keep the promise I made to my nemesis Carl, if this thread was not given the name he wanted, which it didn't, I would start the thread closing on this one.

The way we are filling pages it looks like we Have started.

But to be official,

I Declare the RACE to the Finish Started!

C'mon, man. Let's not start this again. We have a thread devoted to that.
