Good job there Katoot... and on that note, I've knocked a few hours off the DVR, so it's time to call it a night

Good morning gents :cool1:

You know what she does on this thing? Checks Facebook, reads emails, and occasionally goes online. I take my MacBook to work so she was left with only her cellphone on the weekends.

I need to search the web for some good free aps. I did download angry birds for Juliana though.

We have an app that lists all of the free apps and those that are price dropped or on sale. We currently have over 165 apps on our iPad and we have only ever paid for one.

The app is called Appshopper. We have educational, games, newspapers, productivity, and any other app you can think of.

Morning everyone. I officially declare today "Hump Day". We are halfway to the 2 days of nirvana called: The weekend.

Matt

Good morning all!

Holy peanut butter it is cold out this morning. Almost hurt to breathe up on the train platform. On the early shift today, so at least i get a good parking spot.

Where are you at Inevo? I live near the Outer Banks in NC, and I had a balmy 20 degrees this morning. I had to push the penguins away from the car door!

I'm on the south shore of Long Island in NY. Accuweather says its 13 degrees with a real feel of 8. The penguins must be heading south to escape this cold!

Well, You can keep the penguins and the cold weather! I want my 60 deg temps back!

A balmy 41 here. Feel like temps are in the 30's. Supposed to warm up tomorrow which is good because we leave for the World after DD gets out of school.

Well, there was finally a shake-up and transfer today at work, but it was not me, my boss is being sent back to Toronto, and they are giving us some guy who's got a whopping 6 months experience.:headache: Things are going from bad to worse. Boss isn't too happy either, even though he is now closer to home. All I could think of is that the Useless Bridgade at the store are wringing their hands with glee, the boss was starting to crimp their plans finally.

I've not always seen eye to eye with him, but we've worked well together, he often joked that I was the real Assistant Manager, and has been VERY accomedating to me for time off/shift requests etc. I usually get a lot of freedom to do as I want, and run a lot of aspects of the store, alot I admit I like. Now it's back to square one again, with an inexperinced guy to boot. I can't compete with the ***-kissers (and we have them) and don;t want to have to prove myself AGAIN. This new guy is the 8th manager I've had in almost 10 years in this store.

Boss has told me and my co-worker who is of the same mindset that he is going to have a meeting next week with the new guy, to give a rundown on who's-who/what to expect, but unless this guy is a hard-*** who plans to right the wrongs, then I'm not going to be optimistic that this'll be for the better. My turn to go might still come, when moves are made they shuffle managers first, then others later, but with a newbie, an assistant who is biding his time to retirement and doesn't care, and a whopping 6 staff on "modified" work, I may not be going anywhere soon. It's going to be an INTERESTING new years, that's for sure...

Wow Brent - that sucks - believe it or not, we've all been in that position.

Gotta be optimistic, this new guy may turn out to be exactly what the store needs.

This was from a prom with a basic light package.

About to DJ a prom with 600 kids...

Just had the opening song from The Wedding Singer flash through my brain as I viewed these... :lmao::lmao: "You spin me right round baby, right round. Like a record baby, right round." :rotfl2::rotfl2:

WEDDING SINGER OWNAGE!

So, have they started stocking the shelves with Beverly too? :confused3

Sounds like it might be a rough road for you. I hope not though. Maybe this guy will do what needs to be done... never know until he gets a chance to show you.

My boss just gave me a rundown on what he found when he got home yesterday afternoon...

They smashed in the backdoor and took several things:
a concrete rabbit lawn decoration
a dresser drawer full of costume jewelry
42" LCD TV
64" Plasma TV
Jar full of change
Carhartt jackets
A few shotguns and rifles
Longaberger baskets
several other miscelaneous items

They emptied all the closets, kitchen drawers, etc. Apparently spent quite a bit of time there and did so in broad daylight sometime between 10 am and 1 pm.

Now all I can do is think of all the things I need to do to make my home more secure. I might be making a trip home during lunch today.

Morning all…

My, my but y’all were chatty last night.
Did anything get said that I need to go back and find?

The opening number at our wedding was #131…

We had a seven piece swing band doing the entertainment and chart number 131 in their book happened to “In the Mood”. It should have been an eight piece band, but the guitar player at the time (that being me) was getting married that particular day.

I miss playing with those folks sometimes, but I’m not certain that I miss playing for receptions (the brides parents were rather often a bit hard to deal with).
