Thanks for the birthday wishes guys! Glad I could add to your post counts! :thumbsup2

I had a nice quiet evening spent at home with my ladies, watching Loony Toons and Big Bag Theory. Quite nice.

I don't remember who was talking about security systems, but we pay $180 a year for monitoring through a smaller local company. The sad thing is we never set the alarm when we go out for the day... although there is usually someone here everyday.

Security system??? I was thinking more along the lines of a series of tripwires and motion detectors connected to the trigger mechanism of some claymore mines.:lmao::rotfl2::rotfl:

I wonder if Fed could help me out with this...:rolleyes1

You're not legally married in Wisconsin unless the Chicken Dance and Hokey Pokey are both played. True story.

Quoted for truth. Also true in Minnesota.

At our wedding, we had the DJ play the Star Wars Cantina songs over and over while the guests ate. At the end of the night, Rob Zombie's "Dragula" was played so my new Father and Brother-in-laws and I could rock out.

True Story. :thumbsup2

Work is a pain in the peanut butter.

By the way, I saw you come in the other day, but failed to welcome you... welcome to the DISdads!:thumbsup2

WooHoo! Ownage!

That is AWESOME!!!!!!!! :lmao::lmao::lmao:

Dude! Haven't you seen The Wedding Singer in a while? The version he sings at the opening is the Dead or Alive version. :thumbsup2
Yea, I know you were talking about Dead or Alive... I was just being a *******.

Sounds medieval! :stir:

You don't need a guitar to play in the mood anyway.

You don’t need one to play any swing tune, but they do help fill out the rhythm section, and make the obligatory “beach music” and over played pop standards easer to pull off.

But then again… now a days, you don’t need any musicians at all.

Most people are really nice.... mostly. :headache:

“Most” was probably more correct then I remember, but the bad ones really burn into you memory.

My theory is that he is somewhere in south Ga. being interogated by FED. I have a suspicion that Dave is dealing in black market toilets :lmao:
Ah... so he's dealing those old high water volume toilets on the black market.

My boss just gave me a rundown on what he found when he got home yesterday afternoon...

They smashed in the backdoor and took several things:
a concrete rabbit lawn decoration
a dresser drawer full of costume jewelry
42" LCD TV
64" Plasma TV
Jar full of change
Carhartt jackets
A few shotguns and rifles
Longaberger baskets
several other miscelaneous items

They emptied all the closets, kitchen drawers, etc. Apparently spent quite a bit of time there and did so in broad daylight sometime between 10 am and 1 pm.

Now all I can do is think of all the things I need to do to make my home more secure. I might be making a trip home during lunch today.

Not the concrete lawn rabbit. :scared1:

But really, that just sucks!

If you can't feel safe in your own home - where can you.

Hopefully they get to the bottom of this really quick.

Morning y'all -

Been catching up here for the last 15 minutes.......

I, like others, are concerned for the well being of the lawn rabbit. This is what I have to say to the crooks:thumbsup2<========Not a thumb

Seriously though, it's scary enough to make me want to secure my house better. Saw some dude out walking this morning while I was putting out my trash. I didn't recognize him, but we get a lot of those around here since I live on one of the biggest hills in the area and for some unknown reason people enjoy walking up it. Needless to say I looked at him with a stink eye and got some random comment about putting out the trash. Luckily, a state trooper moved in across the street and he brings a cruiser home rather often. Hopefully its enough of a deterrent.

And now that we're getting up there in page count, I'm beginning to look forward to all the bacon, squirrel and princess pictures to come.

That is all. Happy Wednesday.

Cheers,
Indy

What a work week - It's Wednesday and I am off tomorrow and Friday.

These 3 day work weeks are a killer.

I am voting for 2 days every other week.

Nice. For our grand march, we had the DJ play "She Think's My Tractor's Sexy." because, well, she does. :thumbsup2

Sounds medieval! :stir:
I have a boiling pot of tar on my roof as my security system. That's medieval.

WHERE'S DAVE?!? :earsboy:
Havn't seen him. But I have the next thread named after me, I'll be there every day. :thumbsup2
Ah... so he's dealing those old high water volume toilets on the black market.
Better than black water toilets on the high market.

That sounded better in my head, but I'm too lazy to delete it and think of something cleverer.

Something tells me that the picture activity might be just a bit more subdued this time around. :rolleyes1
