Didn't know if they had a "Canada's Got Talent" show....

They actually do - this is the first year - hasn't aired yet, but one of the judges is that dude from Oh! Canada, the circlevision movie in Epcot.

What's his name... Hmmm... the Short guy. ;)

Oh well, I'ts not coming to me.

You're going to love "leave it to beaver" when it comes out.

Yeah, I heard they are just starting production on that... should be ready by 2018.

And Disney I heard just signed a deal with a third party digital animation company, there are going to make a movie about toys. Sounds like a bomb. :confused3

Morning gentlemen. And Barry... ;)

3 weeks from right now I should be landed at MCO and on my way to take Magical Express to the World. I'm getting pretty pumped! :cool1::cool1::cool1:
You beat me by a couple of days nemesis. I just make it in time for Friday morning packet pickup.

Must be you haven't seen The Red Green Show!

Happy Birthday Lee!
If Women don't find you handsome, they should at least find you handy.

I know that we just passed a major day last week in American history, where 70 years ago the world changed forever, along with the course of the great war... but just in case you all have forgotten what a black day today is... see here to see how 45 years ago today the world was again changed forever.

Reading the quote from the nightly news was really touching.

Not sure who your talking about but it sure was fortunate that his parents had a circle vision camera.

Hey Lee (lnevo)

Happy Birthday Lee!

Thanks sooo much guys!! Today I get to go renew my Drivers license and will try to get my motorcycle permit. Just finished reading the manual for the permit test. Hopefully we can squeeze in a viewing of The Muppets.

Things are starting to pick up at work. Helped proofread a presentation from one of POSCO's labs today. Next week, I'm going on a business trip for a few days. I'm also working with some coworkers on revamping our training model, which is requiring a lot of research. Oh, I also helped with training new employees last week and today by teaching them a simplified form of rugby. All in all, loving my job.

Happy birthday Lee!

On the plus side, we got to trim the tree tonight as soon as I got home and the girls were loving every minute of it.

At least this was my last client visit for 2011.

All's well that ends well. :goodvibes

‘Morning all…

Sold my forty-year-old truck last night. I’ll miss having it, but with my DS now driving and with everyone’s ever widening schedule of commitments, I need a different kind of third vehicle. I’ve started looking around, but I can’t find anything that really strikes me (that I can realistically afford).

With a budget of about 8k or so (and less would be better)... what would y’all consider as a “spare” car/truck (which translates into “the one I’ll be driving most of the time”).

I found this one fairly cheap.

Shari called me today and told me that Lauren told Nana today..."you should have heard what Daddy was saying about you last night"..that little booger!! I did not know she was in ear shot when I was ranting! I obvioulsy need to be more careful cause Lauren is obviously going to tell when "being pumped" by Nana! I ca't win for losing!!:rotfl2:

Santa is going to have to leave coal in the stocking! :rotfl2:

I'll probably watch it about as often as I did before.

never seen a whole episode

::yes::

Four days was just about perfect. You and Stopher gave great advice there. The first 3 days were midweek so crowd levels were very low. Very few things had a line longer than 15 minutes, so we wound up getting to do a ton ofstuff. On our last day the crowd level was up tremendously. Even rides like Winnie the Pooh had long lines. We wound up only spending that afternoon/evening playing in Huntington Beach instead of the Parks.

Sounds awesome! Looking forward to the TR...popcorn::

Missed this post earlier...

I'm in the process of truck shopping now... and I've been working on that for the past 3 or 4 months.:headache: I keep holding out for a better deal, and they keep selling them anyway. Apparently the economy isn't as bad as the talking heads think. :lmao: Actually, I'd probably have bought one by now, but I still haven't found anything that I couldn't live without at the price they wanted.:confused3

What are you looking for? Truck or car? I'd always recommend a 98 or older Chevy truck. Those 350's run forever. I drove one to work this morning with 220K mi on it. You could pick one up for about 3 - 8K depending on year and condition. The only thing is, you're probably not going to find one under 150K mi.

If you want a car, don't ask my advice though.:lmao:

Happy Birthday Lee. Hope it is a good one.

I'll be starting my TR from last week, this weekend. We were there for 4 days and in San Diego/La Jolla for 3. DW and I took about 3000 pictures and I shot an additional hour or two of video. We were at GC for 2 of our 4 Disney days and off property for 2 days.

Well, get to work writing. We will also be there 4 days, one off site, three at VGC.

Just for fun, here's more to read through

Went there when the thread first opened and revisited it last night. Am avoiding your VGC thread on the DVC board because I don't want to see a lot of pictures. Want to experience it the first time live. Dumb, I know.

It all depends on how much snow you have to drive through in the winter. You'll need 4x4, and some nice studded tires...
Wait, I think I need to back up here a second. "Snow" is a solid form of water that falls when the temperature gets cold.
What? Back up even further? OK..."cold" is what it's like if you lived in your freezer.

That being said - if you can find a Jeep with the 4.0L inline 6 cylinder - those things will run forever too.

:wave2: :thumbsup2 <-take a guess.

Not dumb. I get it. Pictures are great - but there definitely is a huge WOW factor at VGC that can be diminished a bit (though not a whole lot) by seeing pictures first. I've been there so many times now (when it first opened we still lived 10 mins away, and we walked through it time and time again) - anyway, been there so many times, and it doesn't matter - I'm always awed by it.

We have Fogo de Chao, same thing, flip the card red green ect. I get gift card about every three months from a vendor for it. I'm sitting on three right now. :)

Three gift cards, hmm... Ya know, last time I checked Maryland was pretty close to Virginia... Just sayin'..:rolleyes1

Dave....!!!

Where are you?

I texted Dave when I saw this, I asked him if Don was sending him pictures of bathrooms yet, and we were looking for him in the clubhouse, here is what he replied with:

"Lol. No bathroom pics yet. I'm sure. I've just been busy the last few weeks. Tammy started a new job and I'm swamped at work. I'm sitting in front of a burned out house now waiting for the insurance company. It seams the guy who did some electrical work didn't have staples so he put the nails through the wire to hold it in place. Just when you thought you have seen it all. I'll log in tonight to say hi. It probley will be after seven till I get home. "

Hello all,
My name is Chris. I'm a father of three DS(7), DD(4) and DD(2). Happily married to my wife for eleven years. I am a Disney addict. We go twice a year with an upcoming WDW and DCL trip in January. It seems I'm always planning a trip and indoctrinate my children daily by having them watch the WDW parades on youtube. I'd love to be a member of the DisDad's as I identify with the majority of your criteria.:wizard:

And yet, you've never invited me down. :confused3

NOW HEAR THIS!!! Next time I have an abundance of gift cards or plan on firing up the grill for burgers and brats, I will invite all DISdads to enjoy them with me (but especially Randall).

Welcome to the asylum! Emma's Dad will eventually assign your membership number. He's in Disney World right now, so we'll give him a break.
