This time warp thing is really messing with my head. I'd wish Steve a Happy Birthday, but I'm not even sure it's his birthday anymore.

So, if someone would be so kind as to reply to this post a page or two ago and catch me up on what I've missed, what I'm missing, and what I'm going to miss, I'd appreciate it.

Home from nutcracker rehearsal. My youngest is a micette and oldest is a clown. The micettes have to wear white tights and leotard, and it looks like she walked thru a mud puddle instead of dancing. At least DW can't blame me for this one.

My DD is going to be a clown and angel in their Nutcracker performance. She is SO excited. They have their rehearsal tonight and the performances will be next Saturday and Sunday.

Anyone read "The Hidden Magic of Walt Disney World"?

I just started to read it, and although a lot of the things I read there, I've known from the DISboards, there is a lot of fascinating facts.

I recommend it.

I've been looking for a good Disney book to put on my Christmas list. I'll mention it to DW and we'll see if I get it. Either something like this or a book that has a good comprehensive history of the Disney Empire. I caught the last half of what looked like a great documentary on Walt last weekend. Got me thinking about this....

Here's all you need to know about the 2011 Philadelphia Eagles: on the last play of the game last night, Seattle was kneeling down to run out the clock and end the game. Philly was called for too many men on the field.

I've been looking for a good Disney book to put on my Christmas list. I'll mention it to DW and we'll see if I get it. Either something like this or a book that has a good comprehensive history of the Disney Empire. I caught the last half of what looked like a great documentary on Walt last weekend. Got me thinking about this....

I read the massive Tom Clancy-sized biography of Walt Disney by Neal Gabler. Long read, but it was interesting. The Imagineers' guides to the theme parks are kinda cool, too.

My DD is going to be a clown and angel in their Nutcracker performance. She is SO excited. They have their rehearsal tonight and the performances will be next Saturday and Sunday.

I'm sure she is excited. Mine had two school performances today and tomorrow night is the main performance. While the Owensboro Dance Theater (ODT) is the one that puts on the performance, the director also has her own private dance studio where my dds take lessons. So, tomorrow is a special day. She will have a dress rehearsal before the performance, then have a meal where the paid performers, ODT company members (high school girls pursuing fine arts), and all the kid extras share a meal together. Then, they have the performance.

I don't get all this dance stuff. But, both my children love it, especially my oldest dd, so I support them and try to keep my negativity for the rest of ya.

I told you I haven't picked one of their games right all season (except for last week's blowout). Looks like Reid is gone. Vick is an exciting player, McCoy is a great running back, and some great receivers when they feel like running their routes. But, Vick is not a system QB. McNabb is also not making the Eagles look that good right now.
