That would take away from the integrity of your original post.![]()

I posted this on the Gift Exchange Thread, but thought I'd post it here, as this thread gets more traffic.
Don't worry bout hurting my feelings - please answer honestly.

Me: "Mosquito netting? Really?!?"
Her: "You never know..."
i text ron (commando) last night. i didnt hear from him lately. his computer has crashed into his family. they are all doing well.![]()
Howdy all!
Were Baaaaaack!
I see that a week off the grid saw me missing a lot around here (and I do mean a lot). I tried to do a bit of catching up though, so just to respond to a couple of highlights
Sorry to hear about the demise of DDC-XIII.![]()
Are we listing our Web Master as having the official last post on that one and moving on to XIV, or are we just starting over with a new XIII again under its new moniker? Either way, Im glad that everything got straightened out without any serious bloodshed (save for our post counts).
Let's see... what else needs saying...
- Thoughts and prayers still being sent as needed
- Congrats to the kids in Nazareth on the Football District Championship way to go!
- I dont think we picked up any new members, but fell free to fuss at me if we did.
- I also missed saying Bon Voyage to David and Andy so Yall have a great trip!
- Oh yah... and a happy belated birthday to Mark!
Now then
The Great Thanksgiving Odyssey was a smashing success! We are absolutely worn out (I even managed to pick up a fairly nasty cold ***hack, hack cough wheeze*** as one last souvenir from NY-NY), but it was worth it. The entire endeavor was nothing short of amazing.
If you like bands then there is a Youtube post where someone kindly cut out all of the 2011 performances and strung them together in one 12 min video (our kids were 7th of the 11 groups to perform). Each band gets only one minute, 15 seconds to perform and get moving and we dont really get a say into how they introduce us or what they focus on.

Another note we were actually one of the smaller bands there Thursday. Nearly all of our youngens were on the green carpet, where as most of the groups had half or more beyond either edge and out of the picture (but still playing).
I will be doing a TR on this that yall are free to utterly ignore, but it will be forth coming. As a bit of a teaser heres some of what we got ourselves into (other then the parade that is)

If for some strange reason youd like to see a couple more rather cryptic images that should get you really confused, I tucked them at the end of the current TR (just click down there in my sig yall know the drill). Ill warn yall again once I get started on this monster, but like I said feel free to ignore the Beverly out of it (ya wont be hurting feelings none).
***hack, hack cough wheeze***
Excuse me

I have had a busy month or two but well worth it. My wife will be completly licensed to run a daycare in our home this week. Which is great because she will be able to stay home with out new little one that will be joining us in Feb.
My son finished up his city athletic association wrestling season with a 1st place finish in the end of season city championships. We are so proud no matter win or lose, but it will set off the youth wrestling season on a high note.
It now appears that we will have to find a few things for Santa to bring Lauren again....because Ethan ...being the detective he is...found the loot that we ha stashed under the bed until we could get it hidden someplace else. Luckily none of it was for him!!! Unfortunatley, if the found loot turns up on Christmas morning labeled from Santa...I think the jig will be up!!!Looks like that stuff will no be from Mom and Dad and Santa is going to have to shop again and this time hide better!
Sometimes we do too good a job, we stashed years ago a Disney Princess Tea Party set for Amelia one year, found it three years later where we hid it![]()
So we are planning my tenth trip to the World mid December. Because there are five of us and we need appropriate rooms to accommodate all of us we decided to invite my parents to join us and just get two rooms at POP. To have some fun with the trip we decided to get them the classic Mickey Ear Hats with "Grandma" and "Grandpa" embroidered on the back. They showed up the other day ... but they said "Grandma" and "Lara" on the back. I'm trying to decide if my dad will be willing to change his name.![]()
Just had one of these....

Amazing! Dare I say - maybe better than PB cups!![]()
The young lady at the front desk for 1900 Park Fare was awesome and able to get us in with no additional wait. My nephew had a birthday last week so she even added that! They brought cupcakes for all of the kids.
I am having coffee on the balcony and I have to say its awesome. We are heading to HS after lunch. We are going to enjoy the resort this morning while we wait for the scooter to be delivered along with the top secret b-day cake for my SIL and MIL.
Then, I also recommend avoiding Friar Tuck.
As for my DW......She is having mixed results, so far. She will receive her 25th and final radiation treatment tomorrow. So far, we can't say we're seeing any great changes, although she does seem to have more energy and less pain. She is able to do more around the house, but only small things for short periods of time. The numbness she has been experiencing in her legs and feet is now spreading up her back, which is very discouraging for her. And, I'm not even going to go into the mental aspect of all this. Since the radiation apparently works for 4-6 weeks after the final treatment, she probably won't be getting an MRI until mid-January. Until then, we won't have any idea of what is going on with the tumor, if anything. We're also trying to be hopeful the radiation isn't doing any irreversible damage to her spinal cord, as the tumor has caused enough problems already. In some ways, she seemed better when she first got home after surgery in August and we can't seem to get any good explanations as to why she has the numbness and if it will be permanent or not. We're trying to be patient but it's not easy.

I posted this on your other thread as well, but think it should be posted hereJust a word of explanation guys. It looks like based on some private messages as well as facebook entries that I really am indeed not welcome here anymore.
I saw very inappropriate and non disboard type stuff posted at the end of the last thread. I posted about it and then there were more links to other inappropriate pictures a couple of pages later. That's when I sent a note to a moderator. It wasn't something that belonged on the board and I wanted it cleaned up and from what I saw it was being ignored. I asked to have the pictures cleaned up and did not ask them to ban anyone. I don't even remember who was posting what.
I am now a "troll" and "an outsider who will never be a disdad" as it has been so eloquently stated to me. I have always tried to treat everyone I have posted to with respect and kindness and tried to be helpful whenever possible on disboards.
I am very sorry that I am not welcome here anymore and wish each and every single one of you the greatest success in life and beyond. May God bless you and keep you and your families. We leave for Disneyland tomorrow but my heart is broken that you all think of me the way you do. Again, I am sorry.

I am not a Dad yet, so I have no idea what might have happened, but I saw this thread from wdwinfo's main site and I had to respond.
I have to say that it's a shame that a few bad apple's can ruin things for others.
We live in the area, feel free to PM me if you want another couple to say hi to, we will definitely be in the park this Saturday, as DW has to go to a concert for school and they will be having Candlelight Processional that day.
