I can relate. SWMBO sometimes (translation:almost always) falls asleep in movies. I think it has to do with her getting up at 4:15 every morning for work.

Though we saw MI4: Ghost Protocol on Sunday and she stayed awake for all of it.

Of the two choices listed, I would go see Tintin on IMAX and wait til We Bought a Zoo comes out on video and see it at home.
