Hi every one! It sound like you are all doing well. I havnt posted on this site in awhile< Ive been doing Weight Watchers for 5wks now and Im only down 51/2lbs Im working hard but some weeks like today I only lost 1/2 a lb. Im getting frustrated, but I wont give up only 30 days till Disney!

Just got home tonight...will try to get to a weigh in tomorrow, but like I said before I haven't done as good this week, so I am not expecting much.
 
Hi everyone-
I know i havent been here latley, but yesterday i tried on some of my summer clothes for my trip in May--and some shorts were a bit tight ..so that really kicked me into gear..
I have a bit over a month til my trip and i would like to lose a few extra pounds before i leave.
I talked to my friend that is going with me and we decided today we are both starting and will check in with each other each night for accountability--but im coming here too..

Last night, i made mini goals for myself for today
4 bottles of water
no junk food
do at least 10 min exercise (im still fighting that sinus infection so i dont want to do too much)

i weighed in at 152 this morning..ill do my measurements in a bit...i just hope i can do this!
 
You can do it Jen! Nice to see you posting, I know school has been keeping you busy. It helps to set goals when a trip is involved :thumbsup2

I weigh in tomorrow, but not looking for any loss. I am still watching what I eat, but I feel I ate more junk food this week than normal. The all knowing scale will tell :rotfl:

Chris and I and our boys are all starting a 2 week body cleansing :lmao: We are going to eat healthier and see if we are feeling better at the end of the 2 weeks. I hope this is a great jump start for Chris and I and Nick would like to be slimmer for bathing suit weather. Hunter eats healthy anyway so it really won't effect him. Colby is becoming a little porker so helping him find healthy options will be beneficial.

Well i did 30 min of exercise in! Im glad i got it in..im about to go take a bubble bath i think--sounds nice! i already drank 4/8 glasses of water...
 
Good start, Jen! I think the mini goals you set will really help you get where you want to be next month. Good luck!!

Deb - Good luck with the family changes. Keep us posted on the two-week results. I'd be interested to hear everyone's thoughts on how they feel. I think the family changes will really help the boys in the long run to so the idea is a great one!
 
Hi everyone! Sounds like some good goals have been set! I stepped on the scale this morning and was pleased to see that the number actually had dropped by one. I'm pleased with that as I wasn't too good this Easter.

I also started walking outside again. I did a half hour this morning. It felt so good!!! Here's hoping that the weather stays nice so I can keep it up!!!
 
I'm not so sure that things on the scale are going to look so hot come Wed morning. I've been a little lax the last week or two. At meal times I am still tending to watch my portions, etc, but I have noticed the last few days that my tendency to snack and munch is increasing again. Guess I need to focus back on what I'm doing and tracking my food (which I've also not been doing regularly). I think I'll call Kristi right now and ask them to bring the jogging stroller they are loaning me over the next time they come. I've got to get out an walking!
 
Still plugging along here.....I weighed in at lunch time last Wed & had gained 3 lbs...don't know if it was the water I had drunk that morning & not had a chance to get rid of or what but I will never go to a noon meeting again. I went off the deep end after last week & am just getting back on track. That is the worst weigh-in I think I have ever had!!!!

I am down a pound this week, total lost so far 17 lbs :yay:

I have a feeling the last 10 lbs are going to be hard to get rid of, so I really need to start being more active. This is something I am going to have to work on.
 
We had a pretty good day yesterday without too many complaints from the kids. We decided that one treat a day would be acceptable since they have been eating a lot more than one. Chris said that he stuck to plan and I know that I did. I have to admit that giving up sugar and caffeine in the same day really sucked!! I needed a nap by late morning :rotfl: I did drink about 40 ounces of water and 34 ounces of crystal light and NO soda. Of course Aunt Flo came to visit yesterday too so I'm not sure where that will put me. I know that I am very crampy this morning which is very unusual. I'm just going to keep swimming with the rest of you.

I know TOM has some to do with the mid-week gain, but I also did not have a very responsible few days in there, culminating with a killer Easter (diet wise). I've really got to stick with it if I want to hit my goal of being under 200 by my birthday May 15.
