DDA's New Year's Weight Loss accountability Thread

Nothing new to report this week. I am still sitting at 132 lbs, these last 2 lbs seem to want to hang on!

How is everyone else doing?
 
Hi Janet! Well, the batteries are totally dead in the scale. LOL I thought it would be a 9v, but alas, it's some huge quarter sized batteries. Guess I need to find out what size and pick up some new ones. So for the sake of posting, I'll say I lost 100 pounds and am at goal.....and then I'll wake up from my dream. :lmao:

Am still here.....struggling a little bit. I was good on my diet this past week & even have started excercising again. I have done my FIRM 3 x this week. I have cut my diet soda back from 5 to 6 per day to 2 per day & when I weighed I was up 2 lbs. :confused:

I am trying not to get discouraged, but I have been doing this for so long & my weight has been stuck in the same 5 lb range for months now. I think my body doesn't want to let go of it, but I want to get some more off.

Frustrating................:mad: but I am trying to stay postive & just keep swimming.......:fish: :fish: :fish: :fish: :fish:

Doing good. I keep forgetting to get batteries for the scale, so I'm still gonna say that I'm at goal. :lmao: Of course, when I do remember the batteries, it's gonna be a shocker not to really be at goal :scared1:
 
Hi y'all. I'm about to reach my boiling point. Excercised every other day, drinking only 1 diet soda a day & the rest water, eating my points the right way......& I stayed the same AGAIN!!!! I weighed at work & got so upset, I didn't even go to my meeting. I know that was the wrong thing to do, but I am feeling very discouraged.

I am going to give up. I am going to keep swimming :fish:, but it sure is hard, when you know you are being good & it doesn't show up on the scales.
 
I know how you feel Melanie :hug: I am being good at counting my calories & drinking water(exercise not so good)& I get so upset when the scale does not move. I think to myself, why did I not go ahead & eat that cookie or piece of cake? It gets really frustrating at times.

We're back from our 23 day trip to WDW. We ate any and everything the whole trip, including DH downing the Kitchen Sink by himself. He got it for free for doing it in less than 1 hour. Now that we are back we need to lose the extra weight that we gained. I'm not sure how we gained when we walked constantly. I think I gained between 5 and 8 lbs, DH thinks he gained over 15 :eek: As soon as I get to the grocery store we will be back on track.

Welcome back, Deb! I can't believe you're home already! You've done so well, I'm sure those pounds will just melt off you and Chris!

Hi Everyone! Sorry I have not been so good at posting here lately. Finally after 6 weeks I am down another pound, 1 more to go :cheer2: I hope it does not take me another 6 weeks to lose it :rotfl:

How is everyone doing?
 
I'm still swimming alone. Need to shed the vacation weight. I am not at all good at staying on track. After seeing the pictures of the Baltimore meet and seeing how wonderfully everyone has done with shedding the pounds I know that I need to get my butt in gear before our October meet. I must say the results in those photos say more than any words ever could. Amazing job DDA!!!
