Jennifer - I love looking at the pictures of the girls. Bob sat beside me this morning and oohed and ahhed over them too.

It is amazing to me that in some pictures they look almost identical (I know they aren't) and in others there is such a difference in them.

To be honest, we have never thought they looked alike. I mean, moreso even than just the fact that we see them all the time. At one point, I worried that they wouldn't even look like sisters!

Yesterday though, some of the pictures I bought I had to have for the single fact that they really did look identical! In one, we argued with the photographer on which girl was in a particular photograph.... and she was right!

WE all know they will come back with a greater appreciation for you, and your trip in August will be FABULOUS!

Mammos aren't that bad. Take it from Mom, better to catch things EARLY!

I don't think they look THAT much alike. They are both beautiful! I can't believe it has already been a MONTH!

So today is chemo day for Mom. I really hope it goes OK.

DS has the orthodontist this morning, then Princess has gymnastics before lunch. I am moving her up to the next age group at gym. When this session started there was a huge influx of really young kids (almost a year younger) so now her class is a bunch of kids we don't know who have a completely different skill set. Time to move up!

I hope your Mom has a good day today... I'm sure it's stressful for you as well. I hope she calls you and lets you know how she is feeling, despite her track record in doing so

Today is our last day of swimming. Since baseball is over next week for a while, there isn't a need to keep going. I'm glad that will be one less thing every day. Andrew has another practice tonight. I made some progress on decluttering last night.

Oh -- one more thing. A neighbor who is around 4 got on our playscape last night (the one I won last year) and was stung more than 30 times by yellow jackets. No one has played on it in months because we aren't ever home so we had no idea there were two large nests in it. Anyway, he was doing just fine last night, but if you wouldn't mind adding him to your list for prayers/good thoughts, I'd appreciate it.

Oh, that poor boy! I know you probably feel bad as well, although you couldn't possibly have known! I'm so glad he's doing well, and I hope he feels completely better quickly!

I totally forgot about Disney Visa and DVC pins that we won't be able to purchase since we aren't traveling at all in 2008 Elizabeth, thank you for reminding me

Is there anyone who could pick one up, or one of each (not each pin available .... just one Visa, and one DVC)? We won't need the AP one, but I'd love the other two. If someone can, then I'll look at what is available.

ETA: Holy cow.... respond to my PM if you're still looking for one, and I'll tell you about a system I found to be alerted when it became available at various stores. I got a text message/email sent to me, happened to log on right away because I was sitting here, and got a wii fit. I sent this message, refreshed the best buy screen, and they are out. Yikes! It only took 1.5 days to get one though, with this site that notifies you of online stock, so it might be worth the time (it's free). Let me know if you're interested! I know you signed up on Sears and ... somewhere else's site, but I don't know that you'll get an email by the time they sell out, if this is any indication. Now, here's hoping I even get mine. I have a confirmation email, but it seems like they could have oversold, since it all happened in literally 2 minutes!

Terry and Stephanie - I hope you both have so much fun this weekend. Sounds like they have lots of fun stuff planned!

We are so looking forward to this weekend. We will be going Friday night and staying over and then all day Saturday. We will then come home that night. I have no desire to do Hershey. I have too much to do that Sunday.

Too many things to choose from. I am really looking foward to hearing the Imagineer talk and also meeting the CMO. There are some DISsers that are also on a few other sites, so this will be fun matching faces with screen names. Plus we will have a chance to meet some folks that will be doing the Cruise/Land for Mouse Fest. There are a lot of things planned for that too.

It is going to be lots of fun

See my edit.... it literally sold out in under 2 minutes. I wonder how many they had! There are about 5 sites though, that send alerts to people when they are available... so I guess I shouldn't be that surprised. This whole thing is nuts! We had better enjoy it!

I think if you have a local gamestop...it is the way to go...they seem to get them in consistently...and often they will hold them for you.

That's great that they hold them! I had asked about them holding the Wii console (at ours) before we got one, and they said they wouldn't. I wonder if they all hold the games, though? That would be a convenient way to go! I'll keep it in mind if something falls through. I read online that some sites are notorious for canceling Wii orders in situations like this, but Best Buy isn't one of them. Here's hoping...

Jennifer, if I can buy more than 2 of the Visa pin I will get one of those for you. This is the second 2008 Visa pin. Did you get the first one already? I ordered that one through the mail. DVC pins are being released in 4 designs like the AP pins. Let me know specifically which ones you would like.

As for the Disney Visa, I did not get the first. We only get one per year, so I don't need both. If they still have the first available, however unlikely, (http://eventservices.disney.go.com/pintrading/pin?id=31318) I would prefer that one, otherwise any is better than none

If I'm looking at the correct set, it looks like 5 designs for DVC this year, no? The "collection" of 4 park designs, and the "exclusive" one that has all 4. (Can you tell we just get a few pins we like, and are far from avid collectors?! )

Don't go to any trouble hunting down specifics if it's difficult, but I would prefer one of any, in this order:

Mickey & Minnie (not sure if this one is harder to get, being older, etc)
Chip & Dale (not out until 8/3)
Mickey, Donald & Goofy
Minnie



Seriously though, don't go to any trouble. There is still plenty of year left! If you are somewhere that has all of them, those are my preferences. If you can't get any, that's no problem either.

Does anyone know where I can find a tie dye Mickey head design? I was looking thru the boards last night & I know I saw a mickey with all tie dye inside the mickey head..I went back & cannot locate... I should have put it in my favorites when I saw it.

Not sure on the first DVC, because that one doesn't appear to be a limited edition size. The other designs are LE 3000. We're definitely getting a Chip & Dale for ourselves because we'll be there the day they release it. I don't know if they will have any of the other designs or not, but I will scope it out!

Oh, I don't even mind sharing here. I just didn't want to blab on about it if nobody was interested anymore... or miss your post if I wasn't on for a while!

There are probably a dozen sites that offer this service, but I'll share the ones I used and my thoughts

wiialerts.org is an incredibly nice site. They have lots of options available for which stores you'd like to track, various ways to be alerted (email, pop up on your screen, text, etc). I get several alerts from them per day (at first I was including searches for bundles that included wii fit, not just the game), and they have always been accurate. When you get an alert, you go to their site (there aren't details in the text, it's just a standard message every time) and there will be a link on the first page that is directly to the product you were referred to, if that makes sense. They also have sort of 'reviews' on what sites are notorious for canceling orders or give "false alarms" (say they're in stock but NOBODY reports seeing it as such), etc.

That being said, I ended up scoring the Wii fit with findoos.com. It doesn't look like much, and I think that's why it works I read somewhere that they have fewer subscribers, etc so the texts go out more quickly. In this instance anyway, I can vouch for that. I got the text from that site, got the Wii Fit, and it was sold out almost immediately. After it was gone, I got alerts from the other site, and the email from findoos.com.

The other one site that seemed to update in fairly real time was nowinstock.net

I hope that helps! Like I said, it only took 1.5 days from when we decided to buy to get one (hopefully, assuming it comes ). Of course, had I not been on the computer at the time it would have been different, so there is certainly some luck to it... but it appears that, for now anyway, something like this is better than sheer dumb luck!
