That's basically what I was thinking, too. I was worried about traffic for Friday, but maybe we'd be past rush hour by the time we go. I think maybe Saturday morning would work better, but I really keep going back and forth on it. Right now, I can still get tickets for every time on Friday and Saturday starting at 8:20 am and ending at 8:50 pm. We aren't really planning much in St. Louis except for the Arch, because we have 5-1/2 hours of driving on Friday and 6-1/2 hours on Saturday. I think we're looking at Ted Drewes for sometime Friday evening.

Well, if you're up for some company on that Friday night we'd be happy to enjoy some Ted Drewes with you. Just let me know or give me a call. Do you have my number from the old list?

I'm already signed up for the Princess Half as well. I've been hearing from a lot of runners that they do both so I'm going to give it a try. I should be fine as long as I actually train.

You will totally be fine! In fact, you should run a few miles the day before a half anyway.... so you might as well do it in a fun atmosphere!

We had soooo much fun at the baseball game tonight. I was quite surprised that Alyssa lasted through a double-header. Her favorite part was singing all the songs and yelling "CHARGE" after the da-da-da da da-da! Nicholas almost caught a foul ball, but it landed in the guys lap four seats down from us.

Maybe I'll post some pictures tomorrow. Goodnight.

(I actually had a "concrete mixer" from Culver's the other day..... not the same, but it was a nice fix. I think of you all whenever I am wishing St. Louis were a bit closer! )

That is why I stay out of the sun as much as possible. It doesn't take much for me to burn and I'm afraid that the sunscreen won't protect like it should.

We've used Banana Boat in the past with good results, too.

I had a container of the new Aveeno Sunblock Spray, Continuous Protection, SPF 45 that allowed me to get a nasty burn at the beginning of the summer. I put it on 15 minutes before going out to mow the lawn too. Makes you wonder about quality control, doesn't it?

Do you still have your tonsils? If so I would see about having them out. Wish I didn't wait as long as I did to have mine out, since they came out I hardly get sick anymore.

I still have my tonsils..the dr never said anything about taking them out though..

Good morning...

Thanks for the well wishes. I still feel pretty miserable only because I am mainly so congested it's extremely hard to breathe and I have no voice. And I am HUNGRY, I haven't eaten since Sunday night. I've been surviving on hot tea. But I am seeing the light at the end of the tunnel as the junk in my head is breaking up.

My Sil, Bil, nephew, niece and Mil came over for dinner last night. She hasn't irritated me quite as much as she normally does though. But she has really ticked off Eric and my Fil with her stupidity. My Fil laid into her last week when they arrived because she did not give anyone her arrival time just date. My inlaws had to wait around all day because she no longer has a key. And she wouldn't tell them what dates they would actually be staying here so they could take the time off from work. My Fil has only been able to take a few days off which has really upset him. They left Thursday and returned Sunday from the Bil's family. She operates in her own little world oblivious to the rest of us. But I guess I am finally just able to ignore her shenanigans. Just a few more days and they'll be gone!

No, it was not expired & I just bought it last week which is why it irked me so much that she got burned. I am going to call their customer service line (which I normally would never do if something didn't work for me) but this is my kid & now she is in pain & I did everything I was supposed to do. I am all "angry momma bear" about this.

Looks alittle cloudy here & they are calling for T-storms later..I was hoping to get the kids to the pool today but we'll see. I hate for the kids to spend the whole day inside so maybe we'll take a trip to the mall if the weather is bad...actually I think alittle time out of the sun would be good for all of us.
