WOW Kevin-what wonderful photos!!!!!! Noah is so beautiful and Amy looks amazing!!!!!!!
Exactly! Noah is beautiful, and looking at those pictures of Amy you would never know that she just endured hours of labor. Congratulations to you all.

Good morning, DDA! I hope that your Fourths were enjoyable. We took the kids to see Wall-E and ride the carrousel in the morning. The verdict on the movie was a thumbs up from me, I think from Kristi too and thumbs down from the kids. They did like some parts, but I think it was a little too slow for them and some ideas a little over their heads. After we got home they played all afternoon. We had BBQ pork steaks, corn on the cob and fruit salad here with the whole family in attendance (even Phil came down for dinner :faint: ;) ). Afterward, some up us picked up ice cream and then we all went to watch the fireworks. Kassie spent the night and now the girls are playind Disney Uno. I'm trying to decide if I'm up for taking some number of children to the zoo. We've kept busy enough the last few days, but I had said we might so the question is whether I'm 1) going at all, 2) taking just Terra or 3) taking Terra and some combination of Kassie, Connor and/or Chase. Hmmm.... (Who am I kidding, I'm sure I'll end up going and taking at least 3 kids. :rolleyes1 :goodvibes ) Tomorrow I can sleep, right?

Your excitement for the Wii and its Fit program has me thinking about buying one. Kristin and I would love to do something like that together. I need another "jump start" and she would like to take off about 10-15 pounds and get more toned. She hates doing yoga at our house so she has been sedentary since graduation. I think another purchase is in our future. Maybe as a combination birthday present for the two of us.
I forgot to tell you about my purchase the other day. I was strolling leisurely through Target and looked down in the video game case. To my surprise they had 2 Wii's in stock. It was a sign. Nicholas has been saving his money to buy one, so I got it. He wasn't with me. After I came home I asked him if he still wanted one, which he did. So I told him that I would pay for half of it, that way it would be a 'family' thing, and told him to go get me his money and I would go get the Wii. He did, and I got lots of thank yous and hugs for allowing this to happen. He went about his business and I went out to the van and brought the Wii in. He was thrilled, and so surprised! But the little guy is so smart. He says "well you didn't need my money to buy it, so can I have it back?" :lmao: Um, no, that's not the way this is going to work. So we got the Wii and the Wii Sports. I told him whatever other games he wants he will be buying himself.

This time next month we be getting ready for our late flight to Disney :dance3:

I hope I am still this excited when the heat & humidity smacks me in the face
After walking around town yesterday afternoon in the heat, humidity and crowds, I said to Bob "I wonder how much it would be if I canceled our August flights." I'm really worried how I'm going to stand Florida in August.

I'm at my mom's. Dialup at 26.4. Yuck! Got on to get some GPS coordinates so we can go geocaching.

Found this info and thought it might be interesting. Elin, I don't think your email was hacked. I'm thinking this is what happened. It is becoming more common.

Are you receiving "bounced" emails you did not send? The Spammers have come up with a new way to get junk to your In Box. Spammers can be evil geniuses, and their latest trick is to make you think you're being hacked. To sneak their e-mail messages past network filters that have blacklisted them, spammers find (or even guess at) your e-mail address and put it into the "From" line. When the spam gets sent to an address that's no longer active, you get the bounceback (called "backscatter.") According to a May 5 article in Computer World, backscatter only accounts for 2 or 3 percent of spam now, but is a growing concern. As always, Lighthouse is aware and we have Postini, our filtering company, working to tag these emails as Junk. It is not as easy as you may imagine but we are confident they will solv this newest issue shortly.

I have every faith that with good planning you all will have a wonderful trip. Kristin and I went in August 3 times and our family went in July once. Not our favorite time of year to be there, but ultimately, you are in WDW!

I had found a similar article too, Vicki! But thanks for a concise description of what is happening. I will say that AOL has put it in my SPAM folder all along, so that is comforting. They must like my cute email address because I am still occasionally signing on and getting close to 200 SPAM emails. They are busy little devils, aren't they????

Have fun with your Mom. :goodvibes

I am signing off here and we are going to meet Kathrin for breakfast before we drive to Hartford to catch our plane. The innkeeper checked us in yesterday afternoon and we have "A" boarding passes numbered 18-20. She did better than I did last week! Have good days, everyone. See you tonight. :)

Eh, don't be such a weenie! ;) It is hot, but it isn't like you stand out in it all day every day. You go on rides, you see shows, you drink plenty of water. I do much better with the heat than I do with cold. DH isn't a big fan of the heat, but he manages. You'll be fine!

I just called Mom. Ms. Selfish and her demons arrived yesterday, sans BIL. This is NOT July 11. Ms. Selfish decided to bring the girls up and stay WITH Mom so next weekend when BIL is off they can be home with him. Mom was washing dishes when I called, and then the babies woke up so she was going to cook breakfast for them. Um, HELLO? Mom has CANCER and is trying to build her strength back up to get ready for chemo! WHY is she cleaning and cooking?   Obviously I chose Ms. Selfish's name for a reason! My sisters are appalling. Truly. :headache:

Safe travels, Elin! :wizard:

I love love love this post!!
I think your bets are great incentive and predict that you will have much fun at CA Grill and the P&P Party!! :thumbsup2

Good luck in finding one if you decide to buy one. I have been looking since they came out and have been unsuccessful. I have almost had one more the once online but not yet.

I went for a walk/jog today and thought I was not going to make it. It is soooooo humid. Normally it doesn't bother me but I guess because I have not been feeling that great it totally zapped me.

I have a 4th of July picnic to go to today. Tomorrow is the Pow Wow. Monday I leave for New York. I need to figure out what I need despite not having a suggested list and start packing. Knowing me it will be a Monday morning project. But I should do it before then.

Thanks for all the support about my weight loss. My kids have decided to add a little incentive...:lmao: :lmao:

I do know my kids love me. We are in a 13 week challenge to lose weight by the time my DDil wants to hire a photographer for family pictures.

She decided to really sweeten the pot. If I win, the kids will take to me to California Grill in March, no whining allowed, their treat. They will hire Fairy Godmother to come and watch the kids. If I lose, ***I*** am the Fairy Godmother and get to watch the kids after they have amped them up on sugar and cafenine. They will go to the dining place of their choice.

And then the side bet. The child who loses the least has to accompany me on one of my "special days" no whining. They have to wear the matching t-shirt, lighted Mickey ears hats, watch teh parades, the shows and see the fireworks. Hopefully a late night. I showed my son the Pirate and Princess party. He said he was going to make Nicole Richie look like she needed liposuction.:rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

And so it's on!! We are going to use the starting weight last week from the Wii. All of our little bloated Miis. :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

The shirt is going to say Making magical memories with my Mom....:rotfl:

Good luck! Those are some nice prizes. Are there going to be before and after pictures?? Then again I know how much you love having your picture taken.;)
