Janet - sorry for your problems with the dr. At least it wasn't a life or death issue or they would really be in trouble!

Elin - sounds like another great day!

Robyn - good luck getting Molly's surgery done. I hope it takes care of the problem.

Chanon - I really like the flowers.

Janet, that sounds like quite an ordeal! And your last name isn't that common! Good thing you don't have our last name or no telling what they would have done to you! :scared1:

Elin - More great pics! I would love to live in Boston in the summer. Maybe that will be a job requirement for whatever family I have after Princess grows up. :rotfl:

Robyn - Good luck with Mo's surgery!!

Chanon - I thought someone sent those to you! I like them, but I agree that maybe a third layer of height would be nice.

Theresa asked me to post this

job news

she did not get the job. and because of other things going on in real life that I can't post right now....it's just too tough.

Oh, dear. :guilty: I was hoping things were going to start turning around for the better! Theresa, we are all thinking of you!!

Apparently we have some lunatic in a black Honda Prelude going around shooting at other drivers.:scared: I guess I have missed the news the past few days, because it started Sunday. The guy has shot a total of 6 cars now. I don't think he has actually hit any people, but it's just a matter of time. Luckily DH is off the next 2 days. Some of the shootings have been in areas where he drives for work. Maybe they will catch the guy before DH's next shift. :sad2:

Time for bed since I seem to be the only one posting. Good night, DDA!

I'm here too but ready to say goodnight as well. I just polished off some hummus and bagel chips so I think I'll go read. See ya on the flip side!

The plan for tomorrow is to take the T into Boston again to do the skywalk at the Prudential Building, then head to Harborfest at the harbor, of all places. Then shopping on Newbury Street and dinner at a tapas restaurant. Ought to be a fun day.

Bernadette - Do you work in Boston?

Tomorrow I am going to clean and then i am headed to the beach for the dayu/night...ill be home sometime thursday---hopefully i can get on my grandmas computer, but not sure

have fun, Jen!

I mean it this time... GOOD NIGHT, FRIENDS.

Hey Robyn.
Is Lucy walking yet. Virginia is pulling herself to a standing position and walking along the coffee table, her toys, etc. nut no solo steps yet. she scoots pretty fast on her belly but does not crawl on her hands and knees

Jen - I'm sorry to hear about the job. The right one will come soon, I just know.

Chanon - I'm with the others. Beautiful colors and combination, just needs some adjustments with the height differences.

Janet - I hope you're feeling better soon!

Glynis - Good wishes for your appointment and tests tomorrow.

Jennifer - Continued prayers for your brother. I hope all works out for the best. Kaylin will be 1 on Aug 1st and is doing about the same as Virginia. She doesn't crawl either, but does variations of the army belly crawl and the breakdance "worm". We figure sometime she's going to do the worm move so hard she'll flip over she propels herself so hard sometimes.

Robyn - I'm glad are going to do the surgery. My mom pushed the doctor to do mine when I was 10 and it did a world of good. I rarely got strep so he wasn't going to do it, but I snored badly and had other similar symptoms. She's always been happy he agreed to go ahead.

Theresa (or Jennifer can you pass it on) - I'm so sorry about the job and everything else. You are continually in our thoughts and prayers. :grouphug:

Elin - Sounds like a fun night! My favorite kind too! Terra and I are loving your pictures, even if they do induce a few tears of homesickness. ;) Tomorrow sounds like a fun day. Are you guys going to brave the Esplanade on Friday or do you leave before then?

Well, I guess I'm headed to bed. Terra, Mom and I enjoyed a lovely dinner at Mimi's Cafe courtesy of the thank you gift card for the Disney trip I planned for Rachel's friend's family. I still have plenty left to go at least one more time with just Terra or on a girl's night. Tomorrow we have church camp so I don't have to drive to work, just meet Momboss to get the girls nearby on her way to an appt and then she'll pick them up here after we swim. Since she got holiday/regular visitations aligned I'm off Thurs and Fri since all girls will be with their dads. Yippee! I think Kristi and I are going to take the kids to the zoo and/or to see Wall-E over the next few days. Plus, now I'll have time to help Mom get ready for hosting bunco next week.

Thanks Tia
yes Virginia does this as well. But she is only 8 months so I hope she waits a little longer before she walks

Good night, Elin, Tammi, Jen, Tia, and Jennifer!

As soon as I posted here I went to read the breast cancer thread, and then a couple of others, and now that I am back it looks like everyone else has gone to bed! :rotfl:

Jennifer - DS could pull to stand at 9 months, but it took until close to turning a year before he decided to actually walk. Most kids prefer to crawl and stand up when they reach their destination - much faster for them than walking! ;)
