I attended a wake tonight and it's really got me in a funk.

I'm so sorry for your loss, Debbie!

Congrats on the good news about the house Theresa, I hope that everything else works out as well.

Ditto! I also hope you're feeling better, Theresa!

One of the things that tripped me up was my car. I had to trade in Ms. Blueberry.

So I'm now the proud owner of a salsa red special edition Wolfsburg. :cheer2: I call her Wolfie.

Picture, please! :teeth:

Today my sister and I are taking the kids, all 8 of them, to the free movie. I am sure that by 11am or so I will be thinking it was a big mistake.

And I need to firm up my plans/menu for Lucy's party on Saturday. I cannot believe that with just 3 days to the party I have no idea what we are doing. What ever it ends up being will be simple and easy though.

Hope everyone has a great day.

I hope you had fun at the movies! I know whatever you "throw together" for the party will be amazing! Can't wait to see some pictures!

It was good to sleep in my own bed.

I am glad you are home safely, Elizabeth, and I hope your back continues to improve. Continued prayers for your mom, too!

My neice & nephew will be here this weekend until early next week. I bought snacks & juices/punch, ice cream for their arrival. I'd like to take all the kids to see Wall-E & Chuck E Cheese.

Sounds like fun! I hope the girls have a good last day of school, too!

Just talked to the doctor and it seems that all is well. So, I can stop worrying and just be. Thanks for all your well wishes and pixie dust. I need all that I can get!

You can always count on well wishes and pixie dust from this group! And, you know we're just as excited to find out the baby's gender as you are! I'll throw in a little extra PD for Jacob's wish to have a brother. ;)

Well the leg cramps got a little better last night, but my leg muscles are so sore. My muscles feel like I did about 200 leg squats. I am heading to the store for bananas. We usually have them on hand, but Leighanna had the last one for breakfast yesterday, and I didn't get a chance to get to the store. Apparently if you eat a banana every day, it helps with leg cramps. I just hate getting old!:scared1:

Here is a picture of Leighanna's toothless grin. :hyper:

She's adorable! I just had another friend tell me about the banana thing, because I've been having the occasional charley horse this pregnancy. OUCH!

letting yall know dad goes in surgery tomorrow at 7 am and its a 2-3 hr surgery. if i can get to a computer i will update if not it will have to wait till Sunday we have to move out of the house while they paint and stain the cabinets so i will chat with yall later.

:wizard:  :wizard:  I hope your chair issue is resolved quickly, too!

I got my errands run. Colby now has medication and we have all the supplies for our trip. Tomorrow I just need to run to the restaurant to load up on ice for our cooler. We are heading out to finish packing the camper and then we can close it up for the most part. I'm sure we'll need to toss a few more things in, but it shouldn't be too bad.

Your trip is so close! I can only imagine the anticipation in your house! I hope Colby is feeling better ASAP!

I said thansk and got off the phone and had a meltdown.

Jen, I'm so sorry. I can completely empathize with your disappointment. Trust me when I say it wasn't meant to be. I know it doesn't seem that way right now, but your job is out there!

Ok the clown guy/girl & the dude with the lei is freaking me out.:rotfl:

And, I thought the little kid all by himself was weird, too! :rotfl:

Tomorrow we leave to go to my parents', so I won't be around much until Monday night. I'm sure I'll check in every now and again though.

Have a wonderful weekend! I hope your dad is on his best behavior. ;)

I am caught up but stopped replying because I am falling asleep at the computer! I have not packed yet. I know, I know, Elizabeth! I have all the clothes out and ready to pack, but just ran out of time. I have a LOT to do tomorrow before Kristin and I leave here about 1:00. I also have to teach two classes in the morining so I have less time than I thought. Oh, well... it will get done.

Talk you all in the morning.

I hope you have a fabulous trip, too, Elin!!!

Have a wonderful trip Elin!!!!!

:goodvibes :cool1: :cool1: :goodvibes

I hope you have a fabulous trip, too, Elin!!!

Thanks, you two!!

Stephanie - good luck on booking your airfare!

Amy - I hope Noah decides this is not the weekend to arrive. However, I predict he will be here sometime this coming week, because Matty was born when we were at the Outer Banks 2 years ago! I figure as long as we are traveling Noah will make his appearance. :goodvibes

Glynis, you know I am sending good thoughts that Jacob gets a little brother.

I don't think I'd even do the interview considering it's not something that you could really commit too. I had a mother of a special needs child call me a couple of years ago as she was looking for an aid to attend school with her daughter. I wasn't even looking nor had I ever thought of it :confused3 Needless to say I stayed home with my little one :thumbsup2

.
Since the interview is with the district, I wanted to be sure to meet them and interview, in case something else opened up--you never know!

 that is tough, Jen. I hope that you hear something from another school system that has the intelligence to choose a dedicated, energetic young teacher!
Thanks Elin

I am feeling better about everything this morning..i guess i just got my hopes up, foolishly.
Good morning everyone! Im off to work and then ill be home for a bit and i may be going to my best friends game..but its goign to be hot out there today!
enjoy your day

I just printed our boarding passes for our Southwest flight tomorrow morning. I was online exactly 24 hours prior to our departure and, although we are in the "A" Boarding Group, we are still 26-28 in line to board. I wonder how fast I would have to be to get #1?

Becky you better start the traveling now, if you want to get all that done.

I just want to get to England once and I will be happy.

Elizabeth :wizard: :wizard: that the chemo goes smoothly for your mother. Remember everyone will be different, the girl on the cancer thread may of had problems, but my mom did not. She didn't even get sick and she only had a small burn with her radiation, while some people burn badly.

I have a few things to get done before I can go to work at 10:30. I will check in from the hotel tonight.

Deb and Chris - I hope you and your sons and your whole family have the most magical L O N G trip! Safe travels and enjoy!!

I don't think they sleep, they just sit at their computer with everything all filled out to just hit summit when 12:00 strikes.

I wonder how fast I would have to be to get #1?

Jennifer glad to hear that the girls are doing well, even if it takes Avery a little longer to eat.

Yes, we are going to find out the gender. We have given away absolutely EVERYTHING, so we are literally starting from scratch with this baby! We need to know gender. Also, if it's a girl, I need time to get Jacob ok with it. He's desperately wanting a brother!

Early December could be a lot of fun since it would be Peanut's birthday. How fun would that be???

I bet Jacob is desperate.... I, too, will add a little wish that direction for him! I think that traveling at one of my favorite times of year, during his/her birthday sounds perfect! :goodvibes

Ok, here's a quick story all of you Disney fans...

I was in a group of mom's talking today. Someone mentioned their DS was going to see "The Wallys".

The other mom said "Wall E??"

The first mom said "Oh yea, that's it"...

so then I say "Yeah, It's short for Waste Allocation Load Lifter Earth Class"....

You could have heard a pin drop.

:rotfl:

Who is seeing this tomorrow? I think Kyle and I are going to go. My sister gets back from a week out of town and all she has done when she talks to my mom is beg to visit on the way home. She is so desperately in love with this girls, it's adorable! We looked for "Baby Pictures" showing it (a program for parents to take infants/small children with brighter lights, less noise, changing stations and food stands right in the theater, etc)... but alas, it seems adults want to see non-Disney/Pixar movies when they get a chance to go out. Not these adults! We're hoping my mom and sister will watch the girls a few hours so we can go. Kyle thinks it's important to establish a day for us to go on a date at least every few weeks, and I agree. I just can't figure out where this guy came from who replaced my husband when the babies were born! :confused3 :rotfl:

I knew I had jinxed us! Sorry about that. I will not EVER say you all are too quiet again. :rotfl:

Ahh, it's ok. It was nice to read! :)

This does seem like it might be a smart "business move". I'm sure they will enjoy meeting you, and will just appreciate your honesty that this isn't the right job for you! I'm glad you are feeling a bit better this morning. It's not "foolish", it's only natural to get your hopes up!

Off to do our thing (I told you it was always! :rotfl:). Then we're going to get a few things done before we have some visitors that we're really excited about! :yay:
