Vicki thanks for the update on Glynis, glad to hear she is safely at home!

Amy cute pictures!

Robyn yet another awesome cake :thumbsup2 Sounds like you had a great weekend, loved your pictures. Molly aways brings such a smile to my face :goodvibes

Theresa sorry about the oven mishap!

Jennifer I used Garden Grocer In Dec. & plan on using them again in Aug. I have never used wegoshop, so I cannot compare. I was very pleased with everything I ordered & I liked using their site & seeing what I was ordering instead of having to right out a list(maybe that is called lazy lol). Also if there is something you need that is not listed on their site, they will get it for you.

Tammi I am afraid my swedish meatballs are nothing fantastic. I but frozen meatballs & add cream of mushroom soup :rotfl: My mil makes homemade meatballs that are really good(no soup mixed with these). If you want the recipe I can post it for you.

thanks Janet,
thats good to know as they have a limited selection of stage 3 food

OK, so he doesn't stink. That's good! Maybe he is/was someone's pet and he has been "descented". What does Pearl think of him?

Yep. And I am STILL in my pajamas. What's your point? ;)

Love the cake and the photos!
HOLY COW! I have NEVER consumed 9 alcoholic beverages in one night in my LIFE! :scared1: I haven't been falling down drunk since before I was pregnant with DS. Now my max is 2 drinks. More than that and my face starts to go numb! Remind me not to challenge you in any drinking games!
me either
of course i have never been drunk either

Robyn nice pictures, glad you had a good time.

Yeah and I am wide awake. Sometimes I go through bouts of not being tired at all. :confused3 I could see it if I took a nap, but I didn't.

If you wouldn't mind. I'm trying to expand my recipes now that I have more time to cook these next few weeks. Thanks!

Good morning. :)

It's back to the working life for me for the next 3 days. I have a project going on that I committed to and can't get out of. :headache: I did try though!

Good morning, DDA! :sunny:

I hope work goes quickly for you this week, Tammi. I know how much you are enjoying your time off.

I got the Garmin nuvi350 because I also wanted the MVP player for Bob's car. I don't think I have a voice choice either. Haven't gotten that far yet! But I don't object to "HER" at all.

I have that model, and you do have a voice choice. If you have the American "she", it's Jill. I'm trying to remember where the voice choices are...I can go get mine and play with it if you haven't found your other voices yet.

Happy Birthday
Brantley-Kate,
Davis,
and
Rees!

Hope you have a great day!

:dance3: :yay: :yay: :yay: :bday: :cake: :cake: :cake: :bday: :yay: :yay: :yay: :dance3:

Tammi, here's my great-grandmother's meatball recipe. I've never had them with anything but tomato sauce, but I'm sure they can be converted to a "Swedish" recipe. :)

Meatballs

Beat 2 eggs with ¼ cup water.

Add: 1 pound ground chuck
½ cup dry, plain bread crumbs
¼ cup grated parmesan cheese
1 teaspoon salt
¼ teaspoon black pepper
¼ teaspoon garlic powder
2 tablespoons dried parsley leaves

Mix well with hands until mixture is well-blended. Form into balls and place on foil-covered pan. Bake at 325 degrees for 30 minutes. Add to sauce for last hour of cooking.

Tammi here is the recipe:

Swedish Meatballs

2 pounds hamburger
2 pounds pork
Minced onions
2 eggs
Bread crumbs
Salt & pepper

She did not give me amounts, for the onions & bread crumbs. She just adds what she feels it needs. She rolls these into small balls & cooks them in a skillet. I use my crockpot :) These make a lot & are really good!

Good morning DDA! :wave2:

Alyssa woke up at 6:30 a.m. :headache: but hopefully that means a nap is a sure thing today!

Thanks for adding to my list of things to do, Robyn. :teeth:

Hope you all have a great day! :)

These sound like the porcupine balls I make, except I use rice instead of bread crumbs.
